We stayed in Holly Manor for 3 nights. The house was ideal for our party of 6 adults a child and a dog. The rooms are spacious and well set out with a games room, tv room and sitting room so lots of choices. The hot tub was well used as was the garden with lots of garden furniture. The gardens front and rear were large and the rear garden was secure so great for the child and dog. The location of the house next to the hotel is perfect as it allowed us to use the bar and restaurant. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and informative. They gave us directions to a fantastic walk into Louth. A great stay and we hope to be back, perhaps to try the lodges which look great.

The site is quiet and peaceful. Pefect place to relax. Staff are very helpful.
The site isnt finished and the roads can be muddy or dusty. We noticed the maintenance team werent taking their shoes off in the lodges.... This then has made the carpet and floors in the lodge dirty. The lodge itself hadnt been cleaned properly either, cobwebs and thick dust in one window and the bathroom shelves missed comlpletely. Heating and dishwasher also wasnt working. The site manager came very quickly to sort the issues and the lodge was cleaned the next day. They couldnt have done any more to put the issues right.

The resort is excellent. Good location, you don't feel overlooked and the hot tub is an excellent addition.
I have very few complaints with the resort however I did find the kitchen to be poorly equipped for a lodge that can sleep 6 people. For example the toaster and kettle were cheap, plastic items and the toaster only had the capacity for 2 slices of toast. Rather inconvenient, even for a family of four. There was also no salt or pepper, which I would expect from most self-catering accommodation. Most surprisingly there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom room provided and was told they do not supply any more as per their policy. Meaning we had to make an unnecessary trip to a supermarket. I have never run into this problem with self-catering accommodation before.

All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Our lodge was clean and in a good location. Nicely decorated with a homely feel. The large hot tub was lovely, warm and fresh. Food in the restaurant was extremely tasty with quick service.
It would be helpful to have sockets close to the mirrors. Anti-slip bath mats would be useful. Beds are uncomfortable and the single beds are so slim that it's difficult for an adult to get comfortable on them, let alone get some sleep. A bollard has been placed to stop vehicles driving close to the lodges, which means a long way to carry luggage from the car park.

We stayed in the lodges(No.24). We loved the space between each lodge. Hot tub was available to use as soon as we arrived. The staff on arrival was very pleasant and helpful, so was the groundskeeper who did our hot tub pH levels in the morning. The information book you get is very informative and we went for self catering so we were very happy with the supermarkets 10 drive away. The sun setting over the lakes was beautiful too. Perfect get away for a couple celebrating an anniversary or just wanting time together.
We had a stain on main bed that was washed into the sheet. And there was WiFi but we couldn't get connection even with the WiFi antennas not too far from our lodge. That didn't stop us enjoying our stay tho.

Lovely staff and virtually brand new lodge that had everything apart from WiFi for the tv ie netflix or you tube but once that is up and running I would have this as a 10 ideally based to travel to cleethorpes Mablethorpe and skegness which we did even book an appointment at the salon for a hair cut which was brilliant hot tub was a great addition but awkward to get in and out of Other than that, it was nearly perfect And would definitely stop again
No WiFi in Lodge, but I was aware of this on booking. The hot tub was lovely, but it was awkward to get in and out of for an older person, i.e., on hands and knees But these are just minor things, and the rest was nearly perfect Wouldn't stop me from staying again

The property was great and spacious, clean, and presentable. Cozy & the hot tub was ready for use. I love the fact that they check the water pH daily. There is no wifi facility on each lodge, a bonus as it made us bond more as family but a hassle when you needed access for few stuff, etc. Relied on good ole’ unlimited mobile data & hotspot. The lake views are probably soley for owners/members, but not too bad. The place is near shopping areas, petrol areas. Good communication with host. The location and sunset views to die for! See photos where we devour our oven kebabs & enjoyed our holiday bevs!
There is charging unit for EV, but broken. Perhaps they should think about this more as more & more users uses EV. The charging point was broken for non-Tesla cars but was told there is one on site. Also when we enquired about EV charging they said there is one for Tesla and non-tesla cars, as we have a Volvo, we were told on the day itself that it is broken- perhaps be honest in the beginning as we had to charge late night/ early morning that delayed us visiting areas nearby. Skegness, no disrespect, as it’s near Lough is not all that… we enjoyed SandiTrails beach instead.

Exceptional Gluten Free menu at the restaurant, so if you are gluten free, we can highly recommend the fish and chips, and the pizza! They're obviously very invested in gluten free (well done!) you can even order take away! Staff were professional, friendly and polite. The lodge was very comfortable and clean, hot tub was great! Location is close to Louth, and easy to get to other areas too! . Close to shops, plenty of parking (car park)
The lodges face each other, whilst there was frosted glass screens around, there wasn't much privacy (although on the Sunday everyone vacated, mostl) Simple solution, turn the lodges round :) better view (even greenery and it may be possible to see the lake in autumn)

The hedgehog comfort lodge was spacious and very near the car park. The beds were comfortable but the pillows a little hard. Both bathrooms and the kitchen are a good size. The restaurant and bar make this site. I imagine in summer it is fabulous. Food very good.
In a comfort lodge number 8 you can not park outside your lodge and the paths are made of gravel. No added finishing touches like no hooks in bedrooms or bathrooms no lamps in bedrooms or living room. Sparce kitchen utensils. No sharp knives for example. Not enough seating inliving room groom for 6 people. No washing machine as advertised on booking.com. No mop and bucket which is needed when coming off the decking if it is wet. The big issue is the sunken hot tub, very difficult to get in and out if you have mobility problems. This is the only reason I would not return to this site.

Spacious for a family of 5, located on a quiet resort. Well equipped for a self catered break as well as a beautiful restaurant on site if you didnt fancy cooking. A few minutes drive to the town centre but far enough to be away from noises
We were moved to another lodge as they double booked the one we had originally but we're kind enough to give a money voucher off for the inconvenience. Floors in lodge could have done with a mop as found dusty and dirty in places. Not enough toilet roll provided for a family but bought some extra ourselves anyway. Hot tub was clean but very strong odour of chlorine, almost too much to be able to use
