Lovely views.

Booking.com described room as deluxe suite with spa bath. It was very nice room but not a suite. The 'spa' bath was outside and was a small tin bath in full view of passing golfers. The spa at the golf course charged an extra £95 each for a morning with lunch. We'd have got better value money booking directly with the golf club. There was nowhere comfy to sit. Metal chairs on deck no cushions and one chair inside at a low table. A suite we felt should have somewhere to eat and or comfy area to sit. Usually a hotel room would have a place to work at a laptop and there wasn't anywhere we could do that.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was aesthetically pleasing, adored the view! Soft comfy bed. Fantastic copper bath on decking. Colour scheme natural and calming. Restaurant food was great and friendly staff. Aesthetics were great, loved the views and all the windows and lighting. Spa area was relaxing and the water was like a warm bath...perfect! A rail to help assist getting into water would be useful. The relaxation room upstairs had fantastic views but would benefit from temperature control as no air in there...and plants to soften ambience. Outside space was good. We used the loungers and staff brought out cushions which were comfortable. Some furniture was literally placed next to one another in a row so it would be a struggle to get on without space being left around it to enter from the side. Better to have less and easy access eg drinks tables between. Service for drinks outside was good weather was cool so enjoyed a hot chocolate. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ☺

Coffee pod machine in the room would have been helpful to have instructions. The coffee unit was tricky to use and the coffee itself was not pleasant tasting. I would recommend changing this as guests value and appreciate good coffee in the room. Bin near drink station in main room would be useful. Tissues in room would be useful. Large rug under bed rumpled when walked over therefore potential trip hazard...grip rug needed. Lounger on decking and/or cushions for metal chairs. Shelf in bathroom for products and towel rail. All in all above are practical adjustments. :)

Breakfast was excellent. Large portion and good quality. Would recommend getting this when you book

It's not particularly intuitive to check in when you arrive. You park in the car park and there are directions to the Lodge Reception but it's not clear that you actually have to check in in the Spa, and the Lodge closes early. The signs to the restaurant aren't particularly clear either. It's a great hotel and was a lovely place to stay, but I think they could improve this aspect of it

Amazing room and very comfy bed. Loved having a bath outside and spa staff were really helpful creating the seaweed bathing experience for me in it as the bathing room in the spa was fully booked. Breakfast served beautifully and so tasty - continental is plenty but you can order any hot extras and they'll make it for you. Served by Sam who was lovely. Spa was amazing and the cold water pond was an experience! 111Skin treatment was so relaxing and top class therapist (sorry I've forgotten your name) - thank you! Will be back.

Would've liked more coffee pods in the room but when I rang reception they brought some over with fresh milk so wasn't a problem.

The quality of the venue, the up keep? The friendliness of staff, especially Alex (son of owners) I treated my boyfriend to the spa and he loved it

Our outdoor bath wasn’t cleaned, my pillow case was slightly stained, our lights stopped working in the night, there’s no phone in room to contact reception / staff, google stated phone lines open till 10:00 but I had an emergency at 9:00 and all lines and facilities were closed. The continental breakfast was very limited. There isn’t much else to do unless you enjoy using the gym, spa or playing golf

A tranquil place with a very peaceful feel in all areas. Traveling for business, but it made a lovely change, especially with the large open doors in the morning overlooking the small pond. Also, the restaurant served brilliant food and the waitress was extremely professional, friendly, and polite. A good quality gym too.

Additional complimentary items could have been included. Whilst tea, coffee and sugar were provided, an extra little treat wouldn’t go amiss - especially for the price

This is a brand new facility in a beautiful part of the country. The rooms are extremely comfortable with beautiful views and the facilities are excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant with particular mention to Jackie and Jaye who were just amazing.

It’s new so there are a few minor issues such as the bathroom handle coming off in your hand essentially locking you into the bathroom and the bath on the balcony, while cute, is not a spa bath, but a metal bath tub with no cover so you have to clean the leaves and insects out of it before use. My advice is fill it with cold water and use it to cool your bubbly!

Room was very modern and clean. Great view of the golf course from the balcony. Spacious room and bathroom.

Not enough pressure in the rain shower compared to the spa showers. Bathroom handle loose and fell off. Menu states room service is available, but it actually isn’t. Pre ordered a bottle of wine on arrival in my room, but wasn’t there when I arrived.

The room was very comfortable with a great bathroom and the food in the restaurant was amazing, also the staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurant

£65 per person to use the spa facilities is a disgrace!! We have stayed in some of the top hotels in the country and have never been asked to pay this much!! Safe to say we won't be back

Lovely clean and comfortable room. Spa was so nice and clean. The butlers were very good and super friendly.

Could do with a comfy accent chairs or two in the lodge rooms instead of the uncomfortable wooden chair. Would have preferred a hot tub instead of the tin bath but that's just me nit picking !
