Fantastic hotel! 👌🏻 Had a lovely stay at this hotel & shocked by the negative reviews. From arrival, I was greeted by the lovely lady behind the reception, she accommodated all our requests- nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed numerous times at Woodhall Spa in various hotels, and this is definitely my favourite stay. What I love about this hotel is the calm and relaxed ambience, and the location. The rooms are immaculately clean and the bed provided a very comfortable good-nights sleep. Breakfast was varied and my request of vegetarian food was no issue, the food was delicious and set us up for the day. I highly recommend this hotel, and believe the reviews do not reflect the great stay it is. Definitely will be back, thank you for your hospitality! 😊

The hotel was very nice the bedroom large enough for us with a nice bathroom. The bar and restaurant were very pleasant and comfortable with lovely etc

As the hotel was old the window were were still the original in the bedroom so was a bit cold so had to wear more layers. The heating wasn’t on either properly as it was September. We found by not turning on the bathroom light the air conditioner didn’t come on. Only used it when having a shower. There was a mirror above the sink and if you pressed the red square it lights it up so it gave us enough light.

My room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Although I didn't use it, it was good to have a bath and the shower was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was good parking. I had a a quiet night's sleep.

Weak Wi-Fi meant I couldn't use my iPad. The mirror above the basin in the bathroom was too high for me to use. Re hygiene: water left in kettle when I arrived and, unless the covers are washed after every booking, no need for cushions on bed. The one lift in the hotel was like a safe vault - I have never seen anything like it. Definitely needs updating. The buffet breakfast was tasty but only lukewarm.

Lovely historic building in a great location. Clearly a special old building. Staff were friendly, attentive and happy to assist when required. Clearly some modernisation has been carried out and the reception, bar, dining areas have been brought up to modern standards. Prices in the bar were very reasonable, breakfast was very good and came out quickly.

Slight musty smell in the hallway but nothing that would stop us going again. It’s 3 star, an old building and prices reflect that. We’ve stayed in 4 star hotels that haven’t been as nice.

I was in the area visiting my grandchildren. Unfortunately my husband was unwell so unable to make the trip but I felt very comfortable as a single traveller. Beautiful clean and friendly hotel. My room was lovely. The lady who checked me in was welcoming and all of the staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good too. I will definitely book here again next time we are in the area.

It was quite warm overnight but windows couldn't be opened for fresh air. Otherwise couldn't fault it.

Location is great on the main street of the village, buffet breakfast was good and well cooked. Rooms are clean and well equipped but a little tired but as it is an old and impressive building allowances should be made. A special mention to Janaiv and Mina who were wonderful and tended to us perfectly, we will be back.

Everything was good, apart from the weather!

The Hotel Management were very honest and welcoming . Prior to our arrival they notified us that due to a boiler fault and the availability of the spare part over the weekend , only cold water was available and no hot water . They had made the decision to forfeit the cost of the two night room stay and only charge for the breakfasts . This we considered fair .

There is nothing to add in this respect .

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the weekend, the hotel is really clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. We had dinner in the resturant as well as breakfast, the food is really good, we had a lovely meal.

Shower takes quite a while to heat up but when we spoke to the hotel staff they were aware and matter in hand

Beautiful room! We love this hotel. It's a beautiful building in a fabulous central location. We love the styling too. Staff are efficient and friendly without being intrusive.

The bed was really soft and the carpets could do with a freshen up, but don't let this put you off, the hotel is lovely and we always look forward to our stay.

Just had a lovely weekend away at The Golf Hotel in Woodhall Spa. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful receptionist. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was substantial and delicious. Lovely boutique shops, butchers, bakery, coffee shops and walks nearby. Will definitely be returning!!
