Nice clean hotel staff on reception were very professional and was good to have on site parking aswell. Great location for going into the city center and lovely view while your eating breakfast aswell

We upgraded the room, but our view was a poo splattered view of a wall that let in no light. The bed was very firm, and the pillows were too soft but I'm awear this is a personal thing. We thought the car parking was very expensive for the time we parked for so 21 hours was £16 for Lincoln that's expensive. I thought the breakfast was ok but was a bit surprised it wasn't cooked fresh

We loved the location situated on the wharf and giving us great access to the city centre and its many sights. The hotel is 'dog friendly' which meant we were able to bring our Labradoodle with us. Breakfast was buffet style and offered a good variety of hot and cold foods and is highly recommended. All the staff we encountered were excellent and the hotel also offered secure parking on site.

The room itself was comfortable and a reasonable size however it would have been nice to have a fridge to keep drinks cool etc. More places are becoming dog friendly but unfortunately the breakfast area did not allow dogs so we worked round this by taking our breakfasts separately i.e. I went out for a walk in the morning with our dog whilst my wife had breakfast. Neither of these things would stop us returning to The Hilton.

Great location, lovely cocktail bar (but they don't sell nuts or olives or snacks to have with your cocktail - just bags of crisps, which all feels a bit Wetherspoons. The receptionist were very slow, but the checking process was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, decent size, bed form but perhaps a bit too firm, good plump pillows, plenty of space for luggage. I didn't have breakfast but I liked that the person at the entrance to the dining area personally walked me to a vacant table. Coffee was average, but piping hot, with plenty of milk. Pots of tea big enough for three decent cups.

The worst thing is the state of the carpet in the upstairs corridors when you leave the lift. It's clear that there are many, many years of dirty shoes up and down the corridors - they look awful.

Great localtion just by the water along Brayford Quay. Staff were friendly and helpful. This included staff we met in the corridor. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy. Lovely hot shower. Nice added touch with toiletries such as hand cream and shower gel. Nice choice of teabags and coffee (incuding Earl Grey) in room. Added bonus that breakfast was included. Plenty of choice of food for buffet breakfast with nice views of Brayford Quay and the cathedral. We would all definitely stay here again.

View wasn't that good from room but this wasn't a problem because we didn't spend much time in the room.

Really good location, close to everything we needed. Staff were amazing, very friendly on arrival and when we had an issue with our room it was quickly rectified and they even gave us a drinks voucher for the rooftop bar which was really kind of them. Massive comfy bed, and the room was a nice temperature.

Not much natural lighting as the window in the room was very small. Also some issues with the bathroom tap and the shower head with water spurting out at all angles. Seems a silly design with the shower as you have to bend under the shower head to be able to switch it off, so if you planned on not getting your hair wet this is a bit tricky! You can turn the shower head to one side but because of water spurting out of other parts you still end up getting more water on you.

The helpfulness of staff, especially Bradley and Emma. We are old and my wife is disabled. Bradley didn't have to be asked, he took luggage up including extra chairs! Room was big with superb disabled facilities. Breakfast was perfect with great choices.

Their celebrity chief Marco Pierre White Restaurant on our evening meal couldn't even get a medium rare sirloin steak right!! It arrived half burnt outside and very well done inside. 50 % of it inedible! I complained to the waitress and challenged whoever cooked it to try eating it, but got no response... apart from a sloppy 'sorry' from an uninterested waitress. Spoilt our anniversary celebration dinner.

Location was great, opposite the marina, lots of eateries. Great view of the Cathedral at breakfast. Parking at hotel was good. Little walk into the centre. Very historic. Lincoln Cathedral is beautiful, it is a really good walk up to it, up a very very steep hill but well worth it. Street map available free at reception. Stokes Highbridge Cafe was lovely, definitely worth a trip. Breakfast choices were OK, something for everyoneto start the day.

No fridge in room but hotel can store meds etc that need to be kept refrigerated. Cocktail bar was nice but expensive.

Room size great, beds comfortable, bathroom with everything including hair dryer. Tee and coffee making facilities. Air condition

It was again difficult to get a printed receipt when checking out. I really had to argue my case which is every time i stay here. The reception needs to get a new printer so customers can get a printed receipt fast when they need this. My reason for this request should never be a matter but for us it is that the electronic receipt never reach us from this particular hotel and we are frequent guests here. reception staff was very helpful and gave my the receipt because I insisted on this but it was initially denied that I could have one. Bad for a hotel of this standard.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were all absolutely lovely! Really friendly and chatty! They didn't even mind us wandering across reception and up to the 5th floor to the bar in our PJs when there was a Christmas party on! 🤣 The breakfast going till 11am was a real bonus too!

The bar being on the 5th floor made buying drinks tricky! Fortunately, we have a very high embarrassment threshold! That said, I'm not sure how I'd feel if I was at my work fancy Christmas party and two people in pj's turned up! But it was that or a £6 tray fee! Maybe arrangements could be made to lose the tray feel while parties are going on to protect those who have paid for a party!

Excellent location for the city and plenty of restaurants, great pub and cinema within 5 min walk.

Our room didn’t have a window (just an opaque strip of glass which faced a wall so there was no natural light which would have been ok for one night but not great for a 3 night stay. Also it was extremely noisy on the Saturday night as we could hear loud music until the early hours. The other room we booked for our daughters at the same price had a view over Brayford Water and no noise issues. I therefore don’t believe the rooms should have been sold at the same price.
