The location was brilliant as I don't walk that well. Easy to visit places. The room was very big, as a superior room. Breakfasts were really good, and the ladies at breakfast were lovely. Food in the Lancaster bar was plentiful and well cooked. Being able to sit outside was a bonus. Checking in and out was very easy, and the male receptionist was friendly and helpful. Car parking was excellent.

The two chairs in the bedroom were not particularly comfortable. The bonus of an excellent location was slightly spoilt by the noise from the outside which could be heard in the second floor bedroom, but had to be expected. Shame there isn't a lift to 2nd floor, but a minor detail.

Free parking at the hotel. Check in went very smoothly. The room was basic but perfectly fine for 2 nights. Mattress was medium plus (perhaps close to medium/hard) which I found just perfect for a good night's sleep. Heating actually worked with a radiator in the room and bathroom. Restaurant/bar area was relaxing and food was much better than I expected. Breakfast was also good with hot food cooked to order on one of the days, and self service on the other. Staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were professional and friendly. Price for Bed and Breakfast was very competitive. Will almost certainty book the same hotel when I return to Woodhall Spa

Nothing really. The windows are not double glazed, so you might hear some traffic noise in the morning, but it did not disturb my stay. Ask for a room at the side of the hotel as this might help a little.

The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. They are all polite and courteous and always willing to help if we had a question. The rooms were a good size and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and tasty with a good range of choice. The bar/restaurant menu has a very good selection and it's very reasonable priced. The fish and chips are amazing, the size of the fish is huge. It's not just a fillet of fish like you normally get it's a whole fish in crispy delicious batter. I look forward to visiting again.

On the high street close to lovely little shops and places to eat. The room was a good size, nice big comfy bed with good bedding and fluffy towels, love a bath at night so perfect for me and plenty of hot water! The toiletries and tea/ coffee facilities are good quality too. Side room over the bar but it wasnt noisy as they close at a decent time . Staff also very helpful and friendly . Close to Lincoln for a trip and watched the remembrance parade on the Sunday

The main bar closes so residents move to the other bar, customers were very loud and it was very bright. However , it doesnt close too late so didnt keep us awake

Ideally situated in the middle of woodhall,left the car in the car park, and viewed the attractions.room was big and bed was comfortable.lovely bath and shower. Food in the restaurant was lovely and was an excellent price. Good choice of help yourself. Breakfast staff were polite and helpful.

Not a huge criticism,but the restaurant on the Sunday gets very busy as it is a pub aswell as a hotel/ restaurant so if you want a Sunday meal go early. As we went 3.30 and they'd stopped Sunday lunches and ran out of some of the things on the menu

Room was a good size, very airy, bed was comfortable, exceptionally clean. Fabulous selection of hot drinks and nice biscuits in the room. I requested a room with a shower and it was no problem. Hotel receptionist was really friendly, polite and helpful.

Breakfast timing could be better, breakfast ends at 9am, not all people having a relaxing break want to get up before 8am to get to breakfast on time. Breakfast fruit selection could have been better, small bowl of mandarins only. Other places we have been offer a large bowl of fresh fruit salad, coffee machine, selections of tea and we are able to make our own toast with a selection of breads. I felt it was expensive compared to other hotels that offer spa facilities and a great breakfast.

Successfully arranging to arrive after midnight to meet other plans. Good facility and very comfortable bed! Breakfast was of a very good standard. Terrific shower facility! When I made contact the reception staff the response from the lady I spoke with was brilliant!

Booked through Booking.com but needed to make direct contact to arrange specific arrival requirement. Recorded telecon message not particularly helpful. Could have suggested a time (3pm seemed to fit). (But eventual contact with the reception staff was brilliant) Around 1am spent nearly 20 minutes going around in circles following SatNav and Google Maps trying to find The Inn. Kept arriving at the Lancaster but unaware this was The Inn - the roadside sign is not visible at night! Able to speak to 2 pedestrians who were guests!! Could the name of The Lancaster be shown with the advertising/Location?

The rooms were spotless and well equipped in a nice environment. The pub downstairs was really warm and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. And the coffee was great! I have to give a shout out to Gabby the duty manager who dealt with the bed issue beautifully. She was calm, professional and extremely helpful. Gabby was able to find one other room with a decent enough mattress and some additional comforters to pad the other mattress.

My friend and I booked single rooms and thought everything was going to be super - until we sat on the beds. You could feel the springs - making the beds very lumpy and uncomfortable. We were surprised that such a well kept and high quality hotel would have such awful mattresses. We were told that the mattresses are in the process of being replaced but in the morning we were told that all the mattresses were new in November. That couldn't be true, given the awful quality.

There was no towel hook next to the sink , the bathroom was big ,so I had to walk to heating towel rail or put on the window seat.other wise drip water across the floor which then could slip on .Otherwise, room 5 is great .Breakfast had ran out of baked beans , and the staff did say they would get more but would take few minutes, but I'd already dish up my breakfast, so rest would have gone cold while waiting .Otherwise, breakfast was good choice

The staff were excellent and kind and nothing was to much. The breakfast was brilliant with the morning staff keeping everything fresh eggs when required. Coffee was great and good variety of choice including Grapefruit and fresh fruit. All healthy too with low fat yougart too. The sandwiches we had after we checked in were excellent with crisps, lentil salad and locally made cheese and bread. The evening meal was delicious and served with brilliantly by the young man in duty. All in all a fantastic stay for my 60th Birthday treat from my sister's Valerie O'Dell. A big thank you from us both to all the staff at the hotel.
