Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful (even phoning to inform us we had left an item in the room before we had started the journey home so it could be collected). Had breakfast on the second morning of our stay which was lovely and great value for money.

Minor downside was some stains on the carpet - although it was clean and could also have done with some more easily accessible plug points near the mirror for hair drying etc.

Stayed for 1 night. On arrival, there were no spaces left in the car park. They came out to tell us where to park, even though the bar was very busy. We were shown to our room, which was lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean, a hanging rail for clothes, tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was big & clean with mini toiletries. Breakfast - choice of cereal, toast brown or white bread and full English. The full English breakfast was cooked to order, which was delicious. The staff were really friendly & welcoming.

Location was excellent as our son was at RAF Cranwell, only 6 miles away. We have stayed here before and have never been let down. Staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is optional and you can choose what you wanted. A good pub atmosphere used by many locals.

Our bedroom (room 4) was in the eaves of the pub and the radiator was on full blast and we couldn’t turn it down or off, ok with colder nights but didn’t have the facility to alter the settings. But let’s face it, we are in the UK and who knows what the weather will be like!

A characterful pub with rooms. Our twin room was fit for purpose, comfortable, and value for money. Staff were attentive and helpful. Restaurant had a good choice of tasty, fairly priced meals. We normally stay at Premier Inns but they are somewhat 'samey' hence staying somewhere different.

Car park is a little tight. The whole place could do with a bit of a tidy-up, starting with the car park which has a fair collection of ciggie butts.

All staff and locals were really friendly and made us feel at home. The pub is very relaxed and informal, which was lovely as we were tired from travelling and could just be ourselves! Breakfast was cooked really well and great value especially these days. We loved walking around the town which is full of interesting buildings, lovely walks and lots of history which was great for us. Will definitely stay again next time in the area.

I didn't book an accessible room nor did I ask for one when booking in. I think my disheveled look and pain from walking from the station was obvious. The gentleman kindly told me that he had changed mine and my son's room from upstairs to the downstairs. The room was clean and welcoming with tea/coffee and hot chocolate with biscuits. The gentleman kindly booked a local taxi for us to and from an event the following day that didn't rip us off for being tourist's. I was able to shower the following morning due to the accessible shower room. Due to meeting a friend and getting my glasses fixed, we did not stay for breakfast so I can't comment on the food. I will stay again if ever we find ourselves in Sleaford ☺️

This quaint old English pub is perfect for exploring Sleaford and the surrounding countryside. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they serve a fantastic full English breakfast. It's worth staying there just to enjoy the breakfast!

They could have a better selection of Scotch whiskies in the bar!

I stayed in room 5 which is in the annexe to the rear of the pub, accessed by metal steps. Big room in a barn / stable style of decor. Clean, warm and cozy with coffee, tea, drinking chocolate and biscuits provided. Good breakfast with various options and nice food served in the pub. Free car parking.

Having to fill out my personal details in a busy bar with local customers looking over my shoulder. The guy running the kitchen (on my first night) seemed 'put out' when I wanted an evening meal at 7pm - said "he was just about to go home". Food is available from 2pm > 8pm, felt like I was being a nuisance, so not the best of customer service. Grubby carpets. £62 per night plus £6.95 for breakfast a little expensive.

This is a pub with rooms in the centre of the town. What made this overnight stay for us was the friendliness of the staff - all of them! The room was unique, functional but very clean and comfortable - especially the beds.

Nothing, although, parking here may be at issue at certain times - we didn't have any problems.

I stayed there 20 years ago with the love of my life my wife and mother of my three children. Loved it then Unfortunately she passed away last year. I wanted to visit again and it was very nostalgic. I love everything about it and will Definately return again. Great place, great staff great facilities and great value for money. Thank you

Leaving the stay was too short.. No fault of the place Can't fault it and don't want to try.
