Great location for the family party we were attending. We had a drink in thd pub once we'd checked in. This had a really welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly, even moving their cars so we could park.. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We had breakfast which was well cooked and good value for money. Great stay, thank you.

There was some road noise which we could have avoided by closing the double glazed window. Overall, it was of little impact.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful (even phoning to inform us we had left an item in the room before we had started the journey home so it could be collected). Had breakfast on the second morning of our stay which was lovely and great value for money.

Minor downside was some stains on the carpet - although it was clean and could also have done with some more easily accessible plug points near the mirror for hair drying etc.

Stayed for 1 night. On arrival, there were no spaces left in the car park. They came out to tell us where to park, even though the bar was very busy. We were shown to our room, which was lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean, a hanging rail for clothes, tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was big & clean with mini toiletries. Breakfast - choice of cereal, toast brown or white bread and full English. The full English breakfast was cooked to order, which was delicious. The staff were really friendly & welcoming.

Location was excellent as our son was at RAF Cranwell, only 6 miles away. We have stayed here before and have never been let down. Staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is optional and you can choose what you wanted. A good pub atmosphere used by many locals.

Our bedroom (room 4) was in the eaves of the pub and the radiator was on full blast and we couldn’t turn it down or off, ok with colder nights but didn’t have the facility to alter the settings. But let’s face it, we are in the UK and who knows what the weather will be like!

The staff were very friendly and helpful 😀 Very good meals at discounted price.Location was very handy.

We thought the bedroom and dining room carpets should have been deep cleaned as they were very dirty.Also the metal steps were no good for my partner as he suffers badly with his chest.

A characterful pub with rooms. Our twin room was fit for purpose, comfortable, and value for money. Staff were attentive and helpful. Restaurant had a good choice of tasty, fairly priced meals. We normally stay at Premier Inns but they are somewhat 'samey' hence staying somewhere different.

Car park is a little tight. The whole place could do with a bit of a tidy-up, starting with the car park which has a fair collection of ciggie butts.

All staff and locals were really friendly and made us feel at home. The pub is very relaxed and informal, which was lovely as we were tired from travelling and could just be ourselves! Breakfast was cooked really well and great value especially these days. We loved walking around the town which is full of interesting buildings, lovely walks and lots of history which was great for us. Will definitely stay again next time in the area.

Paul the cook was most humorous and engaging. Breakfast was exceptional with cereals, juices, hot drinks, toast and then choice of hot breakfasts. As a vegetarian I chose the full veggie breakfast which was cooked to perfection and again with Paul’s lovely banter!! Truly brilliant 👍

Couldn’t fault anything to be fair

It was exactly what I needed in the right place. The staff were very congenial and made you feel at home. The food was excellent , both the evening meal and the breakfast. I would choose this hotel again without hesitation

Some may consider it a bit dated, but the price reflects that.

I didn't book an accessible room nor did I ask for one when booking in. I think my disheveled look and pain from walking from the station was obvious. The gentleman kindly told me that he had changed mine and my son's room from upstairs to the downstairs. The room was clean and welcoming with tea/coffee and hot chocolate with biscuits. The gentleman kindly booked a local taxi for us to and from an event the following day that didn't rip us off for being tourist's. I was able to shower the following morning due to the accessible shower room. Due to meeting a friend and getting my glasses fixed, we did not stay for breakfast so I can't comment on the food. I will stay again if ever we find ourselves in Sleaford ☺️
