Room was very clean, kettle in room, kindly put me a small fridge in the room for my medication. Room 9 was recently refurbished with a firm 12” deep mattress on the bed. Shower, though small, was very powerful. Big tv on wall, only a short stroll to shops, good Chinese restaurant opposite. The bar was good and there was seating outside as well. Only 4 minutes drive from Grantham Hospital or a 15-20 minute walk. Check out was 10.30am but I was allowed to sit in the reception for as long as I needed after check out which was great as my husband was being discharged from hospital at 2pm following a hip replacement.

No lift, and no one to help carry heavy luggage. Our room was on the front of the hotel and the traffic was noisy on the first night, but better on the second. (Very hot day so needed windows open). We were expecting breakfast but on arrival saw a notice on reception that due to unforeseen circumstances the kitchen was closed for the 2 days we were there! It would have been nice to be warned. You need to turn left before the hotel down a side road to the car park- a sign or a message up front would have helped as the info online did not make this clear.

The room was okay, the lady who was helping us was kind and polite. We travelled in the summer time and we kept the window shut for the night to keep the noise level down. Can't comment on heating, etc. We were travelling with 2 kids and they said it was good. Would stay there again if it comes to it.

It was a bit hard to find (compared to some other places), carpark was tight, luckily my husband was driving and he was fine about it. We were lucky to find parking as it was busy in there. There was no food available in the hotel (we travelled over the weekend) but nearby there were many places to choose from. Don't let this review put you off, it was good to stay for the night. Don't expect top luxury, but you are not paying for that either. It was close enough to Belvoir castle and this was the main thing for us.

the location was ideal for the town centre, Asda and Station, the hotel was generally quiet and relaxing so I got much needed sleep before running Tough Mudder events, the tea and coffee making facilities in my room were plentiful

my pillows were a little worse for wear so I had to put one inside the other and prop them up with my towels to avoid getting a stiff neck in the night but otherwise everything was good

The property was convenient to the main town and my work location. Even though local to main town it was quiet. I was told I had been upgraded room - thank you. Nice big room for sole traveller, comfy bed and temperature comfortable. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Staff member was very polite and welcoming, explained the check in and out clearly. I would recommend the hotel.

The shower at first only trickled out with boiling water, after 5 minutes the pressure kicked in. The bathroom window was frosted but no blind for extra feeling of privacy (though I don’t think any direct windows looked onto the bathroom) and to keep heat in. Worth looking for additional security for locking the bedroom doors overnight (it does lock shut with Yale type lock) but as a sole traveller I would have liked an additional lock for piece of mind.

Safe, off road parking, around back of hotel. Great bar, cheap pints and huge screen. All staff, owners/managers and cleaners were very friendly and informative. I felt I could buy a take-away and eat it with a pint in the bar if I wanted to. Bar got busy on evenings with others staying in the hotel. Hotel appeared to be fully booked (NO VACANCY sign in window), but it was still quiet.

I was a bit concerned about shared shower and bathroom (seemed very old B&B style), but it was very clean, two seperate toilets between three rooms and there was a large sink in the room for washing and teeth cleaning. Grantham really is a one or two day destination, you need transport to visit out-of-town National Trust properties and castles, etc.

This hotel was absolutely ideal for our weekend stay in Grantham. We stayed as a group of 6 old school friends (now in our 70's) and it perfectly suited our needs. There is ample parking, we were warmly welcomed by Tracey and Martin, and our rooms were fine and spacious. It's located just a few minutes easy walk into the town centre, so we could put our cars away for the weekend. We used the hotel bar for relaxing and chatting, and we were well looked after during our stay. The breakfast was superb, and this hotel is great value for the facilities it provides.

Our room was on a heavily used road lots of traffic Early hours of people shouting and banging car doors and a small scuffle broke out just up the road that woke me up at 2.30 ish am However this is not the hotel fault

The room was comfortable, very clean on the whole. Beds had good quality bedding and large towels. We had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed one night in a twin room as we had a weekend swim meet. If we have another swim meet, I will stay here again. Good value. I dropped a biscuit behind the dressing table. When I moved the dressing table, it was immaculate behind it. Winner!

It's an old house, so there are a few cracks, nothing bad.

Very clean room and very nice friendly staff, been a while since I stayed but I think the chap was called Martin and he was very helpful in pointing in the right direction of the gym and attractions in town. I stayed twice in the end as work went on longer than expected and I booked on the day to get another room. The first room was deluxe and had a lovely coffee machine in the room which was superb, second night I wasn’t so lucky and had a standard room but this was also very comfortable and both showers were amazing, great pressure and spacious, just no coffee machine! But this wasn’t a problem as it was still a very comfortable room

The hotel was situated perfectly, it was walking distance from Grantham Town centre but yet far enough away not to hear any noise at night. We stayed from a Friday night to a Sunday. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They have a nice little bar that's cosy and friendly. We didn't eat there as food is only available during the week, this isn't a problem either as there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Breakfast is available if you require it. The room was cosy and warm. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We had 2 single beds. The bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of hot water and towels.
