Couldn’t fault anything to be honest it’s great little B&B just a short walk from town. We’ve stayed here the last couple of years for our 1st night before we move on to golf weekend at local hotel course. Beds very comfy. Amy really looked after the three of us and even gave one of us an extra room on arrival at no extra cost. She made us very welcome from start to finish and breakfast was excellent thank you. Will be booking again for next year without a doubt.

the bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. the staff were lovely and welcoming and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town centre and a big supermarket.

the bathroom was on the smaller side and the shower head pointed at the wall so i had to hold it in place above my head to get the water on me which wasn’t ideal. i’d also have preferred to be asked what I wanted for breakfast instead of just served it but it was nice food.

We were warmly greeted by Amy who helped us with our bags and showed us round our room and the guesthouse. She was also very knowledgeable about Grantham and the other towns and attractions of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. She was very helpful and friendly without being "over the top" in any way. We recommend The Red House and its owner(s) to anyone considering a stay in the area.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. I really want to say how welcome I was made to feel. The people who run it are really nice and friendly and helped me a lot with things like drying out clothes that got wet, arranging early breakfasts, lots of things. I will definitely go back. it is a very interesting historical listed building, In a good location, interesting town. The breakfast was really really good. Comfortable, historical, really helpful people. Really great!!!

Lovely single room, the bed was really comfortable with great pillows. The ironing board and iron was a great unexpected extra and tea and coffee in the room a nice touch.

The bathroom was very small and dated and I couldn’t find a hairdryer. There was no one around to give my key to when I left so wasn’t sure where to leave it. I left in the staff room but maybe a box to post in would be good.

Very clean with everything needed for an overnight stay within the room. Breakfast was paid for on arrival if required, which I opted for and it certainly didnt disappoint. The host was very cheerful and very accommodating, nothing was a problem.

Would have preferred ensuite bathroom, which I thought "Private Bathroom" indicated.

We stayed one night at The Red House. Checkin isn’t until 4 pm but this is because the owner Estella does all the changeovers herself. The room and bathroom was immaculate and Estella greeted us warmly… what a lovely hard working lady she is! We slept like logs on a very comfortable bed in room 1 which did front onto a busy at times road but the noise was only minimal. The property is in walking distance to Grantham centre.

No negatives at all

Absolutely brilliant place. Amy was the kindest and best host you could ever meet. I left my phone charger behind and within 1 hour se called me to tell me and sent it 1st class post 2 hours later....no charge...incredible service. The breakfast was 10 out of 10 and the room super comfortable....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. JAN F.

I misunderstood that private bathroom doesn't mean en suite ! It wasn't a massive problem as the private bathroom was for myself only

Spotlessly clean 👌 Very friendly and welcoming staff, knowledgeable about the area and showed interest in why I was there. Greeted on first name terms despite the fact they were busy. Lovely garden with chairs and tables to sit outside in the evening after a long busy day.
