I needed a seasonally priced place to stay with my dog, and the room absolutely met with expectations. It was perfect for my need on this occasion. The bed was comfortable and the room had what we needed. Perhaps not a place someone looking for luxury and high end facilities would stay, but absolutely great value for what it is. Very responsive and helpful owners too. Would stay again for same purpose.

There was nothing not to like, it is a matter of getting what you pay for, and I did. Perhaps blackout blinds would be a good idea as the light outside stays on all night. Not a major issue though.

Perfect room and an even better price. We had a peaceful nights sleep and the bed was so comfortable! The pub on site was warm and inviting. It has just been taken over by new owners who are introducing breakfast and food back on the menu, which has been missing for a while. This will be the icing on the cake!! The village itself is tranquil and the locals are so friendly. I would recommend it to workers passing through, families, couples. And there’s a lovely little garden, which will be amazing in the summer. Thank you, we will see you next time!

Was allowed to check-in earlier than the specified time. The room is lovely and spacious, well appointed and was a perfect place to stop off on my travels. I stopped for a drink (incredibly reasonably priced!) in the pub after a meal elsewhere - the service and hospitality was so friendly and welcoming. For the price, this place is incredible value for money. I would highly recommend to anyone. Dog friendly (no additional costs is great!)

Only the spider I found in the bathroom - he wasn’t willing to share the cost of the room with me!

The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Particularly liked the snacks & tea station! The welcome was warm and the parking was easy. We stayed for a wedding so it was convenient for us location wise and they were helpful with letting us make changes to the booking when we needed it for an extra night.

The walls had something sticky looking on them and the sheets were a little synthetic and not as soft as you'd like, but not bad for the value.

Everything was lovely, clean and cosy good sized room, comfy bed, dog friendly and no extra charges for bringing them too which was great, place itself was easy enough to find and there was plenty of free parking on site. Shower was was decent and had good pressure and toiletries etc included. Stuff left in room for brekkie and brews was nice little touch too 👍🙂 The pub itself was nice too, staff were all friendly and helpful, would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Honestly what could I not say! This way exceeded our expectations, the room was stunning, the bathroom was to die for. The three dogs we had with us loved it. Amazing to have a small fridge in room. Denise (staff/ I think the owner) went above and beyond when I was in a pickle (forms I needed) and saw to find a solution and wouldn’t even take a tip for the trouble. I will 100000% be returning on future trips and recommending everyone to go there!

The staff were very friendly and were eager to please. It was a quiet time but we had access to the pub garden with cover for rain when needed. Being able to sit in the garden with our dog was lovely. Although it is quite out of the way and a car is fairly essential if you want to go anywhere the owners have already taken this into consideration and leave information for you about where shops and food can be found.

Very quiet, peaceful location. Spacious and airy room. The weather was warm, so we appreciated being able to sit in the garden. Comfy beds and friendly staff. The small fridge was very useful.

The bottom of the shower screen and the bath didn't quite meet. Despite our best attempts at making sure the screen was over the bath when using the shower, the water still managed to flood the bathroom floor somewhat.

Lovely and peaceful, comfortable bed, really enthusiastic staff who wanted to be helpful just lacking the knowledge of how to be.

Girl behind bar on Saturday night, didn't seem to know much about the staying guests part of the business. Breakfast box contents not available as "no one had asked for it before". Also it needed to be requested earlier, however, pub doesn't open until 1700.! How can you ask for it earlier?

That it was right next to the pub. Rooms were a good size.The staff were very good and allowed us to eat a takeaway in the pub as they didn't sell food.

1st room was freezing. We were put in another room and given a free drink in the pub (which wasn't that warm, unless right next to the fire), but that took a while to warm up and the radiators were on a timer and the extra heater wasn't really very good. No food being served in the pub, even at the weekend.
