Relaxed, friendly, stay. Visit was for a mix of business and pleasure activities. The courtyard of cottages was spotlessly clean and of high standard. Comfortable, quiet nights sleep in what appeared to be full accommodation, I had 2 relaxed nights of sleep. Powerful shower. The breakfasts were really good quality with good choices and cooked to order, with home baked sourdough bread, delightful hosts friendly and helpful. Set in part of a working family farm but with quiet peaceful outdoor space to sit in. The dining room was also available to use as a lounge and had a good choice of books to browse if required and access to supply of fresh milk. Shared but spacious long breakfast tables made for a sociable experience with other guests. Would recommend and definitely stay again if in the area.

Nothing to dislike, a rare find!

Everything…the views from the whole area ..the room was gorgeous so clean and well presented.. the breakfast was delicious and fresh.. the staff where friendly and welcoming..their kids were so polite and friendly.. they let me explore around feed the chickens and cows.. we had such a fab time it’s so peaceful and relaxing..beautiful stars at night we will definitely be returning for another visit

No smart tv for Netflix at night in the room and my back doesn’t cope too well on spring mattresses, no support memory foam would be better for us older back people lol but on a whole there’s nothing we didn’t like.

Perfectly situated for easy access to the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds (eg Lower Slaughter is a 12 minute drive away), also perfect if you are attending Big Feastival (a 3.9 mile drive inside the ‘No Access’ area). The hosts, Dan and Chantal are among the loveliest people you can meet, spending time to get to know guests and a mine of information on the area, baking (thanks Dan!) and the history of the farm, which has been in the family for 150 years. Hard working people looking to move with the times and ensure the long term future of their business. The buildings converted to B&B and self contained cottages are lovely, well maintained, comfortable and in keeping with the farm and the Cotswolds area. The breakfasts are fabulous BTW; don’t be afraid to ask for anything as your hosts will go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

It’s a farm off of a small country road, so expect a bit of bumpiness on the track leading to the cottages / B&B.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner upon our arrival, which made a great first impression. The farm itself is large, and at night, it was very quiet and peaceful, allowing for a restful sleep. The room and bathroom were clean, which is always a priority for us.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues during our stay. The bedding, though washed, was stained, which was disappointing. Breakfast didn’t meet our expectations; staying on a farm, we anticipated a more varied selection, but we were served just toast with two poached eggs, a small side of avocado, salmon and a tiny dessert bowl of granola with yogurt and a few pieces of fruit (I am pescatarian) . Additionally, while the farm is spacious, it could be better organized for tourists to offer more attractions and a stronger sense of staying on a working farm. The farm has great potential, but improvements could be made to better cater to the tourists they accommodate, ensuring they get more value for their money and a more authentic farm experience

As a couple who were having a break without the children for once, we had a lovely relaxing stay. Beautiful farm and countryside, and location.Chantal was a lovely lady who works so hard and cooks amazing breakfasts( thank you). Room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more as a b&b . We will definetely visit this beautiful place again..maybe with the well behaved children this time. Thank you Chantal

I loved everything about Mill Cottage. Out in the countryside a few minutes drive from Stow in the Wold. Chantal the owner was just lovely and her breakfasts were amazing. She even made a take away breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early. She gave us some great suggestions for dinner venues and places to visit. The room was great for my daughter and I and we even had visits from the resident kitty 😺

Nothing.

The location is excellent and the situation within a working farm was fascinating.. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and bedding. Underfloor heating was very effective. The bathroom well fitted with a good walk-in shower. The staff were excellent in all respects, including a welcome much later than we had expected. The breakfast was superb, freshly cooked with very good quality ingredients. Although we did not use it there was a communal lounge with books and tables.

We stayed in the smallest of the B&B units and the bedroom space was limited and there was only a single metal chair which made sitting in the evening less comfortable than it might have been. We would certainly stay at Ash Farm again but would choose one of the larger units.

We stayed in the Dairy and although beautifully presented I was slightly disappointed that we didn't have patio doors onto the garden. However, we then realised that we could access the dining area, internally, which was very light and had large patio doors onto the outside space. Smashing. The breakfast was superb with homemade sourdough bread, avocado, smoked salmon perfectly cooked poached eggs. Delicious. There was also a full breakfast available. Chantelle was very attentive and her attention to detail was excellent. The setting is lovely looking out onto the Cotswold hills.

The TV in the room was a little hit and miss with connection.

We stayed in Room 4 within the Main farm Courtyard. We arrived slightly earlier than we had expected, Dan greeted us with a very welcoming smile and said that is was not a problem as our room was ready… The room was generous, well equipped. The shower was great and hot water was plentiful. Our room was clean and spacious and the under floor heating was very effective. Chantal always asked about our day and suggested places we might like to visit. We would return from a day's activities and find shortbread biscuits in our room. We were so impressed with the attention to detail and quality. We had homemade creps, fresh fruit and orange juice, followed by sourdough toast and a full cooked English breakfast with home grown produce. The second morning we had salmon with all the trimming again local produce and avocado. Refills of tea throughout the breakfast. This is a family run farm which was such a peaceful location considering it’s a working farm. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a constant smile to greet you… We cannot recommend this place highly enough it was perfect… A sun trap little seating area outside accessed over a small bridge over the babbling stream. We met Percy and Theo the farm cats who were very friendly. We would walk down the long gravel drive in the morning. We certainly would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet break away and we would consider staying again in the future. We absolutely loved our wonderful stay at Ash Farm Cotswolds. Our hosts were really lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We had delicious breakfasts every morning of our stay. Thank you very much Dan and Chantal for a terrific stay.

Nothing all very good...

Location was great for exploring the Cotswolds. The breakfast was a step above most, with house-baked sourdough and farm raised eggs and produce. Very friendly and helpful wife & husband team running it! Bonus — adorable children may make an appearance.

The only thing to be aware of is that there is no shampoo in the shower, but our hostess provided a bottle on request.
