Excellent location right in the centre close shops pubs and cafes, friendly staff. Limited parking however there is free street parking after 6/before 9 with an allowance of 2 hours parking during the daytimes times close by so even when couldn’t park at the hotel if you’re elsewhere during the day you don’t have to pay to park

The only issue was the door latches were a little loose and the door would rattle so we used our luggage to “brace” the door to stop it rattling every time the door in the corridor opened and shut. The other negative reviews were unwarranted, they’ve watched too much “four in a bed” I think!

Quaint and comfortable B&B with excellent breakfasts. Exactly what I expected of an English B&B that you hear and read about. Comfortable and clean and a nice B&B experience. I did easy self check-in but communication with staff prior to arrival was excellent. Breakfast choices are very good with numerous choices. The breakfast staff is excellent. It's located on the main street of Bourton-on-the-Water but entrance is in the back of the building so pay attention to their instructions on how to get there. It's an old building so there are narrow stairs you will have to use. Parking is limited. 3 spaces off the main street in the front and 2 spaces in the small car park in the back. Look for signs indicating which spaces are for the B&B.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order with a lovely breakfast room that’s cozy. They didn’t rush you either. Gives you an ability to chat with the other guests. The location is right in center of town perfect for shopping and restaurants. Bus locations a 1 minute walk. Great way to see the other towns and villages.

The building is old. I could hear discussions from the downstairs tea shop during the day. Lots of creaking. The showers are quite small.

Every thing was very good. We liked our stay and breakfast very much. Location was perfect.

We couldn't find the entrance of the building on our arrival as it was a little bit tricky.. I called the hotel a few times, I tried different numbers to ask for assistance yet no response. Eventually we managed to find it ourselves after 15-20 minutes due to the traffic around the area. Would have been nicer if it was described via email by a small map etc prior to arrival for guests coming by car. Or would have been nicer if they put someone on the reception as it is not easy to get in an get out due to pedestrian traffic around the area.

Was it a little quirky - yes! Was it a little crooked in my room- yes! Was it freaking adorable, comfortable, clean and giving English cottage vibes - yes! Stayed for a night and it was really fun to stay somewhere more authentic to the area. It doesn’t have a lobby or a fancy entrance but it was exactly what I needed on a girls trip. Bathroom was updated and spotless. Room and bed were perfection. Had a wonderful view of the river and town. Highly recommend.

Everything was great!

Beautiful room, lovely and toasty, super comfy bed. Nice breakfast. Very smiley, friendly staff. Lovely touches, like a basket of nibbles, toiletries etc. Would definitely come again.

Parking is very tricky. Not enough spaces for guests, so we had to pay a weekend rate in a local carpark. We did wake up to no hot water on Saturday, but it was dealt with promptly and apologetically, with a gift of fudge for our troubles!

Location wise absolutely perfect. Bed was so comfortable and duvet perfect. The interior was lovely. Getting extra waters and essentials as and when was a bonus!

The breakfast was pre ordered on arrival, yet still took 30 mins to arrive. The morning seemed slightly chaotic and expected bigger portion size for what we paid. All other aspects were perfect but the breakfast let it down.

Location was by far the best in town as far as we could tell. Close to shops and the main bridges to the village's shopping and bridges.

This is huge: there needs to be a better way of explaining how to get to the property. We drove around and around, asked people all over the place until one completely random lady happened to on vacation and stayed there last time she was in town so could direct us. What if we didn't find her or anyone else as the daylight was rapidly fading and we would have missed so much if we had to continue to look for the hotel. It took up WAY too much time and could easily have been remedied by better location details.

Outstanding BnB. Mandy is very kind and delights in welcoming guests. I had to leave too early for breakfast but Mandy still wanted to prepare something for me. Great communication with all staff, through reservations as well. Very clean room, excellent location, quiet. Convenient to access a fridge, too.

All great. Totally trifle on my part, but I like dimmer lighting.
