Lovely little pub in a quiet village. Small bar but it seemed to accommodate a few people. As expected the food was excellent - although the 'free' breakfast was a little disappointing as some items had been devoured already by the time we got there on both mornings (and no it wasn't last call). The cooked menu for breakfast (not free) was first class as was dinner on the 2 nights we stayed. Very friendly staff, hospitable locals and visitors. Overall pretty good.

The free breakfast was a little 'meh'. The rooms were very neat and tidy but pretty small and pretty tight especially if you have suitcases, as we did. Bathroom was the size of a closet - however it was not a break it thing. I'd go back.

Charming pub in a beautiful little village. The pub itself had a great selection of beers and wine, with exceptional food at such an affordable price. Cannot fault the warm, friendly, knowledgable staff who welcomed us, served us at dinner and made sure we had everything we needed.

A B&B for travellers but also very popular with locals - we hadn’t quite considered how loud the pub would be in the evening (sure we would have joined in if it hadn’t been for a long day of driving!) Silly of us not to consider noise but a heads up from the pub in future/some earplugs in the room would be a nice additional touch. In the morning the water pressure dropped so low that the shower totally stopped while I was in it, not ideal!

I decided to visit the Cotswolds in November 2024 as a present for my job promotion together with my mum. We stayed at The Bell Inn for four nights and we always had dinner at their pub/restaurant (the same where we had breakfast every morning). The atmoshere was very welcoming and warm and the food was amazing. The room was quite big, very confortable and clean in a complete Old English Style! The staff was always kind and helpful. We really appreciated the position, close to all the interesting locations of the Cotswolds. I really recommend this location! I’d be very happy to come back to The Bell Inn one day!

The quality of their food is exceptional. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Freya, in particular during dinner and breakfast but also the fellow behind the bar (didn't catch his name) who went out of his way to get us into our room as soon as possible so we could chill out. The pub itself is lovely and our room was very comfortable.

The car parking situation is difficult. A small and very popular village pub with only a few allocated spaces on gravel outside their building is always going to be an issue. We parked along the road which is dark and not busy but were able to move our car once a space outside the pub became available later on. The room walls seemed thin as we could hear our neighbours and the kitchen closing down but to be honest we were so exhausted it didn't matter.

The place was clean and easy to find. It was very homie. The breakfast was good. It had all the basics like granola, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc.

The breakfast didn’t include hot food. £13.50 for an English breakfast. If you’re going to dine in on the property 12.5% service charge on everything which isn’t stated at the beginning/menu. The room had cotton robes which were overused and warn which made them unpleasant to wear. Our bathroom had a radiator to hand up our wet towels which was scolding hot. As adults it wasn’t a big deal but you needed to be careful as it would burn you coming out of the shower. Not suitable for kids.

Great location in a quiet village and handy for exploring the Cotswolds. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed and nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. A good continental breakfast was included in the price and cooked options were available to order at an extra charge. We didn’t have time for dinner or lunch at the pub but the menu looked very good and we look forward to having a meal there next time we are in the area.

There was a lack of storage facilities and a small chest of drawers or mini wardrobe with hanging facilities would be useful.

It was beautiful, lots of nice touches, the log fire, the beams, very clean and neat finish. The taxidermy are a bit odd, but the stag in the hallway on route to the room was stunning and the pheasant was cool in the bar. The bathroom was small but very easy to move around, and great decoration, clean cut lines. Fabulous shower, hot and powerful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was also a great temperature, not hot like so many hotels.

Some of the taxidermy was a bit much, the subtle pieces like the stag and the pheasant are great. I don’t mean take away all of it by any means!

Breakfast was ok, food was nice.

Our booking for an evening meal for our 2nd night was not on the “system” although we had booked it with staff in the morning, the staff were unhelpful and not very reassuring that a table would be found for us. We did have a table a little later but there was very little in the way of an apology and we were still charged 12.5% gratuity which we felt was not deserved. Our bedroom was above the bar and in my opinion only suitable to very able bodied people. It was noisy but only until 10.30sh

Lovely massive room, amazing shower and a perfect hearty breakfast! We stayed two nights for a wedding in the village and it was everything we needed. Staff were very helpful and flexible.

There was nowhere to store clothes in the room like a cupboard or shelves. There was a hanging rail but no hangers apart from two which were used for dressing gowns. It was totally fine for our two night stay since we didn't have much, but can imagine it being an issue for longer stays when guests might have more clothes.

If you stay here you must eat here! Make sure you book your table online in addition to your room. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with tea and coffee available. Good breakfast selection with option to upgrade from continental to cooked. Very polite and accommodating staff and the open fire at both dinner and breakfast made it all the more cosy. Thank you.

The WiFi didn’t reach the room I was staying in and I had no mobile signal. I did use it as an opportunity to switch off from the world, so not all bad!
