Quirky chalet type room adjacent to the hotel. Clean and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Bathroom upstairs in the loft. Great quality cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent home cooked food, professionally prepared and attractively served. Competitively priced. Lovely typical old English pub. No need to go out after a long day as it has everything you need.

Not a problem for us but worth noting. Stairs up to bathroom. Shower in the bath could be a problem if your mobility is restricted. Mattresses (twin room) need replacing. Feedback given and welcomed

Nice room space, good tea, and coffee making, separate rooms from the pub, food was lovely and the portions size good, nice atmosphere, with the bonus of an open fire, The WIFI was good enough to use for working as I was on business. The bathroom was ok, and the water was hot.

The TV in the room is small and not really that good for the size of the room, it could do with an upgrade, the bed was a bit on the firm side for my taste also a lack of sockets in general. Breakfast is from 07.30 which was a little late for me to get to the office, but that was more down to the traffic in the area.

The staff were very friendly and the meals were very very good..big portions...reasonably priced..the place was clean, quiet and the rooms were well equipped..breakfasts were lovely...well worth a visit and the place itself was within easy reach to all places to see in the cotswolds by car.

We liked everything, location, the place itself, and the food especially, and the friendly and helpful staff. The food was made with good quality ingredients, and cooked well. Fantastic!

We had room 1. The outside light kept coming on during the night.I guess it is movement activated and presuming animals kept passing, and because the door was half glass the light lit up the room and kept waking me up. A curtain or something over the top half of the door is needed to keep the room dark.

Great pub, nicely decorated and the menu looked lovely, though we didn’t eat there. Friendly, polite and helpful staff.

Breakfast not starting until 8.30 am on Sunday. As we had to leave at that time, we didn’t have time for it. No offer of a reduction to my bill, though we did have coffee while waited to pay the accommodation charge. Bedroom was quite warm and in the middle of July, a thinner duvet would be preferable.

We had a wonderful time here. The location is great for walks and views and a short drive to some interesting places. The room was cool, clean and comfortable (it was a scorching weekend), the food great - they will make you a packed lunch too - and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. For two school friends needing a much needed catch up away from busy family lives it was the most perfect place.

Location was idyllic and very near the White Horse of Uffignton! A lovely walk to Uffington Town itself about 10 - 20 minutes. The Character of the Pub, parking across the road and dining in the pub for breakfast (provided!) and dinner.

Alternative milk for vegans but we understand not everyone has this. Be mindful, Unit 1 in the, (not as old as the pub), apartments next door had a low slanting ceiling in the bathroom upstairs. My husband did bump his head showering, but he is also quite silly, so I don think this is the pub's fault.

The room was large and airy. The bed was super comfy and very big with very comfy pillows. There was also a good supply of coffee and tea and fresh bottled water and biscuits. Breakfast was superb and there was a huge choice, and big portions. We ate in the pub in the evening as well and, again the portions were large, there was a good choice and beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly too.

Room was spacious, clean and it was nice that it was separate from the pub. Breakfast was absolutely spot on plenty of it, freshly cooked. and very hot. Staff were lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble they are a credit to the White Horse Inn. Had drinks in the afternoon and a meal in the evening which was excellent. We only stayed one night but would highly recommend to anyone

Beautiful old coach house style pub. Staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and a very pleasant place to stay. Great location. I had dinner at the bar, and the food was fine, nothing to complain about, and nothing to get excited over, but it was hot and tasty and well cooked. Didn't have long to wait before it was served and the staff were very attentive. I can not comment on the breakfast as I had to leave around 6am, so before breakfast was served. A very comfortable little studio type room which I would happily stay for longer next time I am in the area
