Room and bathroom size fantastic. Great location to main road, rooms were quiet.

The toilet flush is really difficult to push in, if you have problems with your hands you wouldn't do it. Lights not very bright for drying your hair. No soup on if you wanted a light snack. Jacket potatoes not very nice they were a bit hard. Didn't like our table keep being moved for breakfast or having to walk round to our room because there was a function on in the breakfast room. Didn't like getting only one breakfast menu to fill in and be expected to have the same choice each day, it would be better to put one in the rooms every day.

Very clean, modern, lovely large walk-in shower, comfortable bed, spacious room. Accommodation building is separate to the pub, which helps with a good nights sleep, though it’s only 20 paces away to get your breakfast… Staff are very nice, and accommodating. Food is lovely and fresh.

Could do with air con in the rooms as well as the pub area, though a fan was provided in the rooms, and in the pub which helped. One of us didn’t like the pillows as they were very hard. Could have more vegetarian options for lunch/dinner, though we had a hummus starter which was very very nice, as well as the breakfast in the morning.

The accommodation block is very nice, rooms well appointed, nicely decorated, and clean. Food is always excellent at the White Hart, and they have an outstanding selection of ales. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before and cooked when you show up for your reserved time and table. Staff are lovely, welcoming, helpful, and down to earth. The location is prime for where I'm working - and despite being right by some very busy roads, you don't hear it from the rooms.

The carpark is long overdue for resurfacing, let's be fair. Also, it would be nice to have a few more coffee sachets/tea bags. As the last time I stayed, the mugs on the drinks box had been used and I had to wash them before using.

The hotel was in the right location for our needs and the facilities were excellent. The bed and breakfast element was good value for money and we would be happy to return sometime.

The evening meal was an additional expense and we would most probably have looked elsewhere but by the time we realised just how much it was going to cost it was too late/inconvenient to do so. It was very busy (Friday evening) and this probably suggests that our view of the cost may be out of line with what may be available in this location.

Very convenient for my purpose. Due to its location a car is almost a must. Breakfast is a la carte and has to be selected the evening before. If you don't change it, you automatically get the same the next day. Always have the option to eat lunch / evening meals in the pub, menu is good, and I enjoyed the food (and drinks of course). The rooms are in a separate, modern annex, are a good size and have nice furnishings. Bed was comfy. Nice walk-in shower. Plenty of free parking right outside. Staff are polite and friendly. Good value for money.

I found it a bit odd that room cleaning didn't include cleaning the tea/coffee cups, that was a first for me! Not the property's fault: on my last night guests in the next room arrived very noisily at 11pm, and kept me awake for hours with loud chatter and giggling. Having an adjoining room probably let more noise through than otherwise, so suggest asking for a non-adjoining room unless you need one (maybe they're all adjoining, don't know). Management have a sign up at the entrance to the annex asking guests to be quiet after 10pm, but some folks just don't give a damn.

Absolutely stunning lovely hotel, staff are excellent and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble we were kindly upgraded for no reason which was a surprise we had a lovely suite sofa table and chairs massive bed lovely clean and very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with lovely toiletries, everything you need and more. Amazing breakfast fresh and beautiful presentation fresh coffee tea and toast pre order the night before again nothing too much trouble. A hidden gem in Swindon. Local supermarket 10 mins walk away outlet centre short drive away Cotswolds a short drive away just a beautiful stay. Will definitely be staying again!!! 10/10

We had stayed here before and knew what to expect - a large room with a comfortable super-king sized bed, plenty of storage and a good bathroom with fluffy towels and a very generous free-standing shower. This time we had an evening meal at the pub. There was a good choice of food, all freshly cooked and served by helpful friendly staff. The included breakfast was equally as good and a great start to the day. Although the White Hart is very conveniently placed for the busy A419 it was very quiet overnight so we had a good sleep. It was great value for money and we'll definitely stay again.

The staff are excellent - hard working and attentive. The pub itself is well run, has a good buzz (I stayed Friday and Saturday) and the pub food is better than your average pub. The block of rooms are set away from the road and are peaceful. The rooms are a very good size with an excellent bathroom.

Breakfast is only served from 8am (at least at the weekend, not sure about Mon-Fri), so for early risers like me and people who need to hit the road, this is too late. My room had a faulty loo flush - on the next morning after reporting on checkin a member of staff (who himself was very friendly) showed me the method to make it operate (pushing both half and full flush buttons then keeping them pressed down) - really it should just be fixed properly as I was using the kettle until this point

Room 1: Was big room, king size bed, very comfortable. Cool (termperature) downstairs location. Room 1 is barrier free (disabled bathroom) which is a little "strange" for folks without the need for lowered basins and enormous shower area, but not really something to complain about either - just a note. Pub itself really nice inside. Breakfast nice, hot meal cooked to order (night before). Nothing too particularly elaborate, but thats ok too.

A complete surprise to find an entirely separate (and relatively new) accommodation block. The room, bed and toilet area were all big and warm and the overall security made one feel safe. The dining areas for both the evening meal and the breakfast were lovely. The staff each time were pleasant, chatty, considerate and helpful and can’t be faulted; the food was extremely good and appreciated too giving us a great ending after a long day’s journey and the start of another. We thank you for a great stay at the White Hart!
