On arrival we were allocated a room on the second floor. However my husband had recently sustained an injury to his hip so I asked if they had any rooms on a lower floor. Tracey went above and beyond to secure us a room on a lower floor. We were allocated a family room on the first floor at no extra charge. Tracey was amazing and set the room up for two occupants, she even offered to help carry our luggage to our room. All the staff are brilliant, really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we felt very well looked after. Tracey was an absolute star ⭐ thanks very much xxx

We've stayed here a couple of times before and so knew what to expect in terms of comfort, cleanliness and so on. On this occasion, we had the smallest room that we've had at the pub so far but we didn't have to trek to the top floor. No problem to us as everything was fine, and the room was very warm despite the country going through a cold spell in February. As usual, the room was immaculate and the towels soft, white & fluffy. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Nice to see an IPA on at the bar and a powerful stream from the shower.
This isn't to do with the pub but the car park across the road is now a short term one so you may have to find alternative parking if you can't get in behind the pub. Also, the fish & chip shop across the road has gone down in quality - fish still good value but the chips were poor quality and cold by the time I got them back to the room - so they must have been lukewarm in the shop.

A comfortable stay for a really good price in an excellent location for our Thames Path walk and central amenities. We enjoyed the spacious room and bathroom. Parking at the rear was ample with the option of free village parking nearby. We didn't try the food as we'd already made other arrangements, but breakfast seemed reasonably priced including a continental option.
A bit too much movement in the mattress for two sharing in our opinion, but may not bother others. Our room had a high window above the bed-head so no view.

The hotel staff made a real effort to make me feel welcome throughout my stay, something which helped to enhance the laid-back historic feel of the place in general. My room wasn't too big but was definitely comfy enough for single/double occupancy as was required, offering pretty much all you could ask for from a 3* room. The car park out back was also useful. Overall, my opinion of the place that it would be perfect for short and longer-term stays in general, and Cricklade is definitely ideal as a sleepy town to stay once you're done exploring the nightlife in Cirencester (only 15 mins down the road by car).
I felt that the breakfast offer was a little expensive for what they seemed to be providing so I avoided purchasing it this time, although the dining area looked inviting and I have no reason to doubt that the food would have been good if I wanted to give it a whirl. Another minor issue was that the room barely offered anything in terms of sound-proofing, as conversations from the corridor during the morning were fairly loud and easy to make out- this didn't pose an issue during my stay but might become irritating if your neighbours were less respectful.

Really nice little pub with good food and staff situated in a good place to explore the Cotswolds from. The town it's located is a gem of a little place and added to whole experience. Would definetley stay here again. Had probably the most comfortable bed we slept in whilst we spent a couple of weeks driving around England and southern Scotland. It also has off street parking which is great.
This is not a complaint, just a heads up. It is a very old pub and anyone who books here should be aware that the stairs to the 2nd floor are very steep and bringing big suitcases up would not be fun. We saw someone mention this in a review so only took up enough clothes for the time of stay we were there.

We've stayed here before (and for the same reason - a Kim Richey concert next door) and so had a good idea of what to expect. The room (number 1 on the first floor) was a good size and the bathroom spotless. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We opted for a continental breakfast this time, which was ample for our needs, with freshly cut ham and cheese and a range of breads and cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, porridge, orange juice and tea or coffee. The whole experience was great value for money and compares very well with hotels in the area. There is a very good fish & chip shop across the road (mammoth cod for £8.00) and free car park too - in case you can't get in the White Hart's car park.
The drone of the air conditioning unit/extractor fan outside the window, but easily solved by closing the window.

Evening meal was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable. Good to have parking at the back of the hotel but it would have been very cramped if the hotel had been busier.
It was a warm evening but we struggeld to cool the room, even with the window open. One of the windows was stuck with paint and wouldn't open. Black mould on the plastic strip on the shower screen. They are very easy and cheap to replace. As with many old pubs/inns it could do with a decoration refresh.

The location was ideal for airshow only 15 minutes away lovely village with a few shops and a great Indian and fish and chips shop near by We had dinner at the white hart the first night which was lovely breakfast always freshly cooked Good selection of beers on draft Friendly staff always willing to help with anything
Could have done with a portable Aircon unit as top floor room was very hot but understandably at this time of year it's summer

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, and the portions very generous. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to park easily, despite parking being limited. Cricklade is an interesting - and very old - little town, quite near the source of the Thames.
The shower was part of the bath, and there was no non-slip mat, nor any grab handles.

Very friendly staff. Room was cozy and clean. Quite large actually with lot of space. Beds were very comfy. Fully stocked with towels and coffee/tea station. Good shower pressure. Food was very good also.
Wrong toilet seat attached so lid didn’t stay up without some sort of intervention (we used tape). Water was not temperature regulated so went from just right with spots of too hot or too cold periodically. I’m sure just byproduct of the age of the property. Not a problem just not right.
