The single room I had was small but it was clean and had all that I needed for a short stay. In particular the shower was roomy and there was a plentiful supply of hot water. Tea, coffee and milk was topped up each day and extra was readily available on request. The accommodation co-located with a pub that offers a decent range of beers and wines together with a variety of food. I ate there both nights and enjoyed 2 tasty meals. The staff deserve special mention; all of those that I encountered gave me a warm welcome and courteous and attentive service. I would stay there again.

No breakfast was available but there are some fine cafes and a range of supermarkets and shops just 2 miles away in Malmesbury.

The room was in a lovely quiet location with easy parking and a nice playground nearby. It was restful and well furnished. There were facilities for making a hot drink. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We didn't eat in the pub as we were meeting family elsewhere, but it looked really cosy and comfortable.

Only a few small niggles....We stayed 2 nights. The towels were changed, though this wasn't really necessary. During cleaning the floor mat was taken away. Toilet roll was replenished (massive thank you) but not teabags/ milk. There was no teaspoon to stir drinks.

The rooms seemed very new and super clean and thoughtfully decorated. Room is quite small but really cosy and modern feeling, in this pub which is hundreds of years old. Setting is lovely. We were warmly welcomed and it was super easy showing up and leaving again. We would definitely stay again.

Bathroom was a bit less well appointed than the bedroom (although the water here is really hard, so it's tough to keep any bathroom pristine). Be warned, you are in the middle of nowhere, and on a Sunday when we went, things close early (including the pub itself, so we didn't experience it at all) and the local taxi firm - so we ended up driving to our evening activity rather than taking a taxi, which we had not anticipated and were a bit disappointed about. Breakfast process would benefit from some kind of order form the day before if you want breakfast; it's currently a bit of an informal process which wasn't very reliable for us.

I was heartily greeted upon arrival, my room was immaculate and well appointed with comfy bed and great shower. It is in a lovely town, that is quiet and has nice walks. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, as well as the service.

This was just what we needed for the night. Very large bed, extremely comfortable. Altogether quiet and cosy.

It would be nice to have breakfast provided, but wasn't a major problem as we were planning to visit Malmesbury anyway.

The rooms were freshly decorated, super clean, included everything I needed and felt super comfy! The pub is super close by and could have a lovely dinner, without needing to drive anywhere. The owner is lovely and super helpful and generally loved the whole experience.

Paula the landlady was lovely. Very warm and welcoming. . Mat her barman was so lovely. Made to feel so welcome. We had food in there pub. Homemade it was great. The room was very cosy ☺️. Excellent service 😀

Communication before arrival meant O was unsure how I would access the room and if they could take my booking requests

The room was comfortable and in a quiet location. The lady who ran the place, was genuinely lovely and kind and couldn't do enough for others. Cannot fault the place.
