Lovely well maintained pub. Good choice of food and drink. Very comfortable bed rooms. Plenty of parking and good rural location. Friendly staff.
Breakfast in the morning was painfully slow. No buffet choice of juice or cereal meaning everything came from the kitchen bit by bit. It could be so much quicker. Staff in the evening not particularly sharp. Things requested ie drinks were slow and just not on point. Then you get a service charge applied which to us is not in keeping with a country pub. It’s easy to walk to the bar a few metres away and buy a bottle of wine or drinks and save the 15% you are charged.

All went well. The room, though small, was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The only downside was, as a South facing attic, it did get very warm. The large, efficient shower needed somewhere to put soap etc. whilst using it. The tea and coffee making equipment together with the bottles of fresh water (replenished every day) was a great bonus.
Very little. If I say that the banisters on the two flights of stairs should be on the same side, swopping one's case mid-descent is just awkward, not dangerous.

The staff were very helpful and courteous . On arrival we were shown to our room which had a very informative booklet about how to use everything in the room and wifi etc. The bathroom was huge with both a rainfall shower and roll top bath. It was very peaceful . The Restaurant had a good variety of meals and even though it was very busy there was no delay in producing high quality food . Breakfast the next morning was very good.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel . We would definitely stay there again.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was extremely good with a really good choice of options. We didn't eat dinner here so I can't comment on this aspect. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the prices for the dinner options were astronomical which led to us eating elsewhere. There was also quite a limited choice of dishes. If there had been a bit more choice, and at a more reasonable price, we would definitely have eaten here on two of the four evenings. The cost of the room was also quite expensive but it was the height of the school summer holidays.

I booked the hotel for me and 3 colleagues who were visiting a local manufacturer. The location was ideal, close enough but not on the doorstep. We were joined for supper in the restaurant by the manufactures and looked after very well. We all had a very comfortable night sleep and a hearty breakfast whish set us up well for the day ahead. All in all the pub could not have looked after us better. I will use you again the next time I am visiting. Thank you.
We were looking for a night cap after supper but everyone had disappeared!

A quiet, comfortable hotel with a well appointed room. Evening meal and breakfast were good. Mattress and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. Plenty of room in the car park. When travelling solo sometimes one can obviously feel a bit alone, but the staff here were chatty, helpful and friendly which made me feel very welcome.
A very minor issue but there was no hanging space for clothes in the room. It didn't worry me but people who dress more formally may have struggled a bit.

Everything was beyond excellent. The check in process was quick and efficient. We had a very minor issue with the room we had booked whereby we had asked for a twin but go a double made up. This seemed to be more of a booking.com comminication error rather than the venue itself. But it was very quickly rectified whilst we were out for dinner. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. You can really tell that they use good quality products. And it was nice to see some locally sourced products also. Venue is delightfully decorated and the rooms had everything in them that you could possibly need for a short stay. We will definately be back :-)
Nothing...keep doing what you are doing.

Great location in a quiet village. It's a great village pub that just oozes character. A great selection of local beers and an excellent restaurant that prides itself in sourcing local produce. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were a good size and beds very comfortable. It is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. I would certainly visit again.
Nothing.

Food was excellent, we ate breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was a varied selection of cereals or cooked food. The dinners were cooked to perfection and a reasonable selection.
This is a dog friendly pub, dog owners in the main were considerate of other guests, but a couple insisted letting their animals sit on the furniture, which they are asked not to do, but then that's not the dogs fault.

This is a lovely pub with rooms. The restaurant offered high quality pub classics with a good wine list (and plenty of wines by the glass). The rooms were cosy. Breakfast was excellent. But the highlight was the staff, all of whom gave the impression that they genuinely cared that we had a good time.
Breakfast is cooked to order and can be a little slow as a result. We didn’t mind at all, but it’s something to bear in mind if you’re in a hurry,
