The Neeld Arms was so nice with a very clean and comfortable room. The pub had amazing food and well priced drinks, and the staff were so friendly and really helpful. It was a fantastic stay :))
There was a little limescale in the kettle, if I was trying to find a fault, but honestly it was not bad and the rest of the stay was flawless We didn't have the breakfast but it looked like £13.50 might have been overpriced? But I didn't have it so I could be wrong!

Nice place indeed. The building is an old inn (about 300 hundred years) with it's style and uniqueness. low ceiling and stairs (for those it is relevant to). good size room, with great view to the lovely little vilage. Pub downstairs closed around 22:00 so no too much noise. Bathroom with ok (peculiar shower). Easy parking on site. Nice and pleasant staff at check in and afterwards. 5 Minutes from Castle comb.
Peculiar shower. but usable.

A lovely historic building full of charm. We were met with warmth from the staff when we arrived and were quickly shown to our room. Our room (1) was large, very clean and the en-suite bathroom well supplied with products. The shower was brilliant. The large bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast, although not included in the room price, was excellent. Freshly cooked and very tasty.
Maybe the parking at the back during opening hours.

We were very impressed with the Neeld Arms and the staff. The room was absolutely wonderful with lots of character and period charm but with all the mod cons. We had dinner there too and the food was fabulous. The staff were attentive and keen to please and making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
A small niggle but not a deal breaker but they didn’t offer breakfast midweek.

Arrival marred by not being able to get in, as their policy is to close between 3-6 pm which is when we arrived after hundreds of miles car journey. They helpfully told us to go to a nearby pub for refreshments until they would let us in - and it was raining! Not a god start - but excellent food, room and ambience - and meeting our relations made up for a lot of the set backs.
Be open when people arrive.

The staff were welcoming and their response to a heating issue was immediate. The room had been recently refurbished. There was plenty of room with a good en-suite. The bed was very comfortable. The location could not have been better for a wedding in Grittleton House. Breakfast and an evening meal were very good.
We were not given a key to get in after hours but we were told that a door would be left open for us which it was not. We ended up having to get in through a storage area. Make sure you get a front door key. It appears to be a meeting point for early morning cyclists.

We were more than happy with our stay in the Neeld Arms, congratulations to the wonderful owners and staff who went to great lengths to make sure the accommodation and the food would be forever remembered. A highly recommended place, where every detail mattered.
Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Mark and Mark were great hosts. Super friendly and attentive, letting us shelter from the rain after check out, loaning us a brolly to get to a wedding up the road in the pouring rain and even making us a coffee. The rooms are comfy and have everything you need for a lovely stay. Would defs stay again.

Really friendly staff and huge room with a massive bed which was amazing after staying in much more cramped places on this trip. Handy that there’s the pub with lovely food downstairs- the lovely manager there kept us a ploughmans in the fridge to have for dinner as the kitchen closed early on the Sunday so that was great! Also has a car park which was really helpful
The shower head was broken so couldn’t be adjusted to my husbands height and the hot water ran out in the morning but they’re very minor things
