Everything else. Room overlooked trees and a lawn. Birds singing in the morning was a delight. Good parking, didn't notice the passing traffic, food was great, bed was comfy, but too low for me personally. Would stay here again as it's handy for visiting family and friends and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all

The shower water pressure was poor, and one of the doors didn't stay open. Towel rail had a loose fitting on one end, and the bathroom door handle was stiff and squeaky! There was no room info or fire instructions in the room which I think is a must have. The dressing table light has a dodgy connection. Everything was spotlessly clean however. The staff were brilliant. It's a shame to point it out as these were simple things that the owner should check up on.

Very friendly staff, a really delicious evening dinner chosen from a very varied menu, a very roomy, comfortable and quiet room ( I had requested a quiet room when booking and they replied straight away),good bed with lovely crisp sheets, Tv with Netflix, nice clean bathroom with good shower, beautifully cooked breakfast.

Minor point : although the tea making facilities were plentiful, the kettle was dusty and the cups needed a wipe. We both found the duvet heavy and hot, even though the room heating was off overnight. Perhaps a spare blanket could be kept in the wardrobe as an alternative?

Perfect location as we wanted somewhere central to explore attractions around Wilts, Oxfordshire & Somerset but in a more rural location. Breakfast was excellent, delicious full English and good choice of other options. Note, breakfast is extra so you have the flexibility to eat out if you prefer. Bedroom v spacious with double and a single bed plus a sofa & desk area. Good WiFi (tho poor tv signal beyond the basic 5 options). Very welcoming We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel or enjoy the bar as we got back too late each day, but was always v busy in the evenings. Bar tends to close early - presume when last person leaves - we’d hoped to catch a drink on last night but was closed at 10.30. Plenty of parking. Easy to come and go as we pleased.

A few niggles on maintenance that we’ve advised the property about directly. Nothing major. It is showing signs of needing a bit of TLC but its 3* rated and nothing detracted from stay.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, easy access from M4. Reception closes at 11pm, we had a late arrival but Robert was very accommodating and let our son pick up the key for us during the day.

Found out in the morning that they do not serve breakfast. Many of the reviews mentioned how good the breakfast was so this was a bit of a surprise. Robert did offer us coffee and toast. Double checked my booking on returning home and found that it did mention room only, so my fault I'd missed this, but still disappointed as we'd want a bed & breakfast booking.

Lovely pub and B&B. Owners very attentive and welcoming. Although its on a main road you dont' hear the traffic. Rooms perfect for what needed, few extras, like water and biscuits also provided. Food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. You could tell it was all made fresh with quality ingredients. Lovely gem of place with a beautiful setting, would definitely stay there again..

Everything was perfect

Very picturesque location Easy to find on Sat nav - took us straight there Very nice clean room with plenty of space to dress Lovely pub/bar area Lovely dining area for breakfast Lovely function room for family celebration Parking free and in site Food spot on Service excellent Staff amazing Tea & coffee facilities in rooms and refilled upon request Hairdryer and iron and board provided in room and towels Brilliant

Put towel on rail on bathroom when I arrived and it came off the wall on one side - something or nothing but needs checking for minor details The outside could do with some TLC but the weather has been terrible recently so not really a fault at this time of year

Convenient parking, welcoming staff and dog (Barney), reasonable WiFi, very clean, nice breakfast, excellent restaurant, very well kept garden. Room was very comfortable with everything you need. Staff provided EU-power adapters. We were two families, and our rooms were side by side, as we requested.

The bathroom was very clean, but maybe needs a refreshment. Kitchen of the restaurant closes too early for our standards, which can be e problem if you arrive late.

Quaint pub, good prices, staff were lovely - great breakfast. We had a one night stay here, the room we had was spacious, with an ensuite. It was very warm on the night we stayed so we didn't mind the water didn't get warm, however if it was cold the water in the shower would need to be warmer, we loved our stay. If you have knee or hip problems axk for a downstairs room. Enjoy!

Lovely hosts (including the dog 😊) Room looked like it had been recently renovated, clean, comfortable and great value! Smart TV and bedside USB sockets were a bonus too Breakfast was good and also reasonably priced Plenty of parking and easy to locate

Bed was a bit too soft for me (but that’s completely subjective!) Noise did carry from the other rooms, but we were lucky that the other guests weren’t too loud

A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with attentive staff and a varied menu that doesn't break the bank. Our room was very clean with TV, coffee-making, etc. Nice modern bathroom with shower that didn't go hot-and-cold! Great wi-fi with built-in USB charge points. Plenty of storage. Ticked lots of boxes.

I didn't sleep as well as I might. Pillows were limp and didn't support, and the bed became a little clammy. I'm not qualified on the subject of materials but I suspect it wasn't cotton . A shame.
