A family group of 10 of us stayed for 1 night, 5 rooms in all. Nice clean, modern rooms with a decent fan which was needed with the heatwave. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets in the rooms with extras in the hallway if needed. Rooms are separate to the pub which was nice, one had a balcony with seating area and nice view. Had an evening meal in the pub which was very tasty and you certainly get plenty of food! Breakfast isn’t included and the day we stayed it wasn’t being served until 10am which was too late for us as we wanted to get out but there are cafes and a McDonald’s fairly close by.

Veranda room - room 6 was a great room with a view across the fields and in the morning and evening sun so great to get up and have a coffee outside and also a cheeky wine in the pm:)

Carpet in room was a bit stained and bed a bit hard but otherwise all great. Nice shower room, great that extra supplis of water and milk, tea and coffee etc were all placed in the central entrance hallway to the rooms to help yourselves- great idea and v welcome

Nice room with lovely views from the terrace.

We did not receive room service during our 3 day stay, even though we hung the card on the door requesting it. It said in the information book in the room we would receive room service daily. Luckily there were milk etc supplies left in the entrance way to the rooms. We were out each day with family and did not get back until the pub was closed so couldn't ask.

The hotel is set back away from the road, with plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. An ample supply of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate plus milk (more generous than any other place I've stayed). Very reasonable price, and quirky, interesting rooms. Packing trunks as bedside tables, and real mohair blankets over the foot of the beds. Two pillows and one cushion per single bed. Bedrooms were away from the bar area so no noise came through.

No wardrobe but a very useful row of sturdy hanging hooks which was sufficient for us.

The venue is excellent and restuarant is very good and a good variety of choice. Very family friendly. The veranda and view and location were excellent.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast option weekdays only weekends which was disappointing. The price of the rooms are quite pricey not to include breakfast. There is also no hairdryer in the rooms.

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Pub food was huge tasted great. Staff were super friendly & helpful with all we needed even though they were very busy serving a pub full of folks when we checked in at dinner time. Beautiful country view out the back. Was also lovely to meet owner as he saw us admiring the sunset 🌅 & stopped & chatted asking how we were enjoying our holiday.

The property was clean and well looked after and all of the staff were amazing. We came here for my partners birthday and they went above and beyond to make it a special weekend for him from decorating the room, giving him a birthday dessert and drink. Can’t fault the stay whatsoever and will definitely be booking again!😊

Nothing, everything was perfect

Room was just perfect with private patio and view. Food was great, and service was very friendly. Great atmosphere in the bar. I liked that you were able to help yourself to breakfast and extra drinks from shared area when you were ready too in the morning without leaving your room. Communication was good after a small misunderstanding regarding payment. All round lovely night away and will be returning when possible. Thank you to all the team.

Nothing really apart from a cooked breakfast if that’s your personal requirement when staying overnight.

Lovely clean and comfortable room , warm, nice decor . Good en-suite shower/ toilet . Nice view from balcony / window . In a quiet spot but near to local amenities and the pub itself was very nice . Friendly helpful staff ! Lovely place to stay if exploring Wiltshire or visiting Swindon. Out in countryside but but in village and 10 to 15 min to Swindon

Nothing except breakfast not available during week Only weekend but not too bad for me as I was up early for work!

The pub and accomodation were lovely, we even joined a garden party with a great DJ and had a lovely evening

The price was steep considering it was a twin room with breakfast not included, I booked the room as we were at the RIAT air show and needed somewhere to stay for the night. This accomodation was 30mins away so we expected the price to reflect this.
