Fabulous place to stay. The facilities, quality and atmosphere top notch 👌 has the feel of a comfy local pub with the facilities of a great hotel. We stayed in room 22, twin beds, tea, coffee and lovely en suite. Well appointed and comfy. Food is great, had the classic burger for dinner, excellent and home made. Similarly, the full English breakfast cooked fresh to order and delicious. Plenty juice, tea coffee etc. Lots of lovely seating areas. Everything spotlessly clean. Yes this is a busy pub with late music at the weekends but they make this very clear during booking. We stayed Friday night and music went on till 2am. It didn't bother us and in our room was a background hum, not disrupting our sleep. Have to give a special mention to staff members Kyla and Charlie, they were so helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Their attentiveness and fun banter took a special stay to the next level. Help with a taxi to the station Saturday morning much appreciated. Thanks ladies you're doing a fantastic job 🙌❤️

Great location for what I needed (I was playing around the corner at The Victoria). Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included in the price, however I didn’t take advantage of it as I needed a lie in.
Not so much a dislike, but I was unaware the downstairs of the hotel turns into a full on night club/rave on weekends. In the hotel description I think it said next door was a club, not the property itself. The party downstairs was over by the time I was ready to go to sleep, however the door staff initially didn’t want to let me up to my room with my guitar.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location and parking was great. Amazing breakfast in the morning. On arrival the member of staff who checked us in was lovely and on departure a different cheery member of staff brought my phone down to me which I had left in the room, which was appreciated!
On the evening they were understandably keen to close and we were made to feel like a huge inconvenience for wanting one drink to take to our room (they were still open). The staff member was very curt and it simply wasn't needed. It took the shine off of the trip as all the other staff were incredibly friendly.

Stayed here for 2 nights, whilst on holiday road trip from Australia. Nice pub stay. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Tasty cooked breakfast. Also had their pizza, onion rings and chips for dinner one night. Best chips this trip! Also found a Nepalese restaurant nearby which was awesome. Free parking is out the back for guests staying, they give you a permit. Nice hot shower. TV worked well. Enjoyed visiting the Cotswold’s nearby and the ‘Steam’ railway museum in town. A nice stay, would recommend to others.
Nothing major just .. Shower head just needed a tighten up as the hand held shower bit flopped down low for us. Sink for shaving- water was only tepid. Bed creaked a bit.

The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were fairly basic but provided everything we needed for our stay. The shower room was clean with modern fittings. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee making items were available as well as a hair dryer. Check in was simple, staff were friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The hotel was handy for the venue we were visiting Swindon for, so all in all a very pleasant stay.
There was nothing we didn’t like. We received information before our stay that some nights are noisy with the hotel and the venue next door hosting music events, however being a Tuesday all was fairly quiet

The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the centre of the old town. A lively venue in its own right with several others on the doorstep. There was also a decent selection of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and the beer garden was welcome on a very hot weekend. Room was well decorated and fresh as was the en suite bathroom.
There was very little not to like. The room was a tad hot due to the weather and there was no Aircon but given the age of the building that might be why. There was a massive fan supplied and with the window open it definitely helped.

Great pub hotel, nicely located in the old town, my parents and I just driving pass it for next day visit to Highclere Castle, spacious and clean, easy to stay and nice to have a drink or two there in the night! Free parking with breakfast included, and the breakfast is the one of the best in our whole 5 day journey, excellent value for money! And the staff are super helpful and always cheerful!
- The parking place post code isn’t really accurate, the entrance actually next to a block of flat and there is a “pay & display” sign by the entrance.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and inviting, and the prices were good. Will definitely be back next time I stay in Swindon.
There were just a couple of minor details that didn't detract from our stay, but didn't make much sense either, such as no teaspoons at breakfast and single serving pots of jam and marmalade, but no bread or toaster anywhere to be seen. Other than that, the drains were a bit slow when in the shower, so it nearly overflowed, but this is to be expected with old buildings and I got it flowing again by slapping the drain hole the dislodge the blockage.

Excellent - I've stayed at the Kings Arms a few times now, very comfortable stay, clean, great breakfast, excellent staff, good value, central, good car park facility. I've only stayed on weekdays and there are warnings about late music at weekends which is fair enough, so I can't say what that is like when there's live music. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike - it's very small but there was no shampoo in the shower (only soap) and I'd forgotten mine, so shampoo in the bathroom would be nice.

A Gem in the Heart of the town! Nestled in a prime location, this charming establishment offers more than just a place to rest your head – it's an experience in itself. The modern room, though quaint in size, is thoughtfully designed with every amenity you could desire, and perhaps a few surprises too! But it's the breakfast that truly steals the show. A variety of yummy options awaits, elevating the stay from merely enjoyable to utterly unforgettable. In summary, if you're seeking a centrally located retreat with all the comforts of home and a breakfast that dreams are made of, look no further. This hidden gem promises an experience worth savoring.
We loved it!
