We had difficulty finding the hotel due to it sharing the same Sat Nav location as a farm. A phone call answered by Carrie the receptionist got us there. On arrival Carrie was absolutely brilliant and a great asset to the hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were very attentive. The hotel had a calming atmosphere. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good and the bar prices very reasonable..

If at all possible a different post code to the farm or a sign in the lane to the farm with a map saying go back out onto the main road turning right and carrying straight over at the roundabout where you will find the hotel on the right. The barman needs a little more training as I asked for a glass of sherry and he wasn't quite sure what it was. I appreciate sherry is not everybody's drink but it was served in a bulky tumbler and we would have preferred. a champagne or small wine glass if no sherry glass available. We did not get the bottle of wine we ordered but what we got was very good.

The hotel was very easy to find, lots of parking and pleasant vibes. The location was just what we were looking for, very close to all the places we wanted to visit at Cotswolds. Very nice, clean and quiet room, very comfortable shower, lovely restaurant with great service, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, they also have a bar.

- While they have great service, the food at the restaurant wasn't amazing. We liked the pancakes, other than that can't recommend it. - For some reason an employee was cleaning the windows of the rooms on the ground floor from the outside - while we are in the room and he can see us! We closed the curtains but felt uncomfortable. Very strange decision, not considering the guests privacy. - The insulation between the floors is so bad, we heard the people above us walking very loudly all the time. - The surrounding of the hotel is not the prettiest, it's located on the road with nothing much around.

Very well situated, comfortable bed in a decent sized room and spotlessly clean. Although close to the road the soundproofing is very effective. We last stayed here a couple of years ago shortly after it opened and had expected a bit more wear and tear but it remained immaculate. It is extremely good value. The meal in the adjacent pub was good and, possibly because there were few customers, the service was excellent.

Breakfast has a good choice available but the quality of some of the food offered is poor. The sausages served at breakfast were the worst I have ever had and were not eaten. The pastries available were also poor.

The room was clean, with a superb shower and a big flatscreen TV and plenty of mains sockets, including USB charging points. The hotel and pub staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu was very good, with the meals at very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking spaces outside and a short drive away was a petrol station, an ALDI, and a TESCO Metro and fish and chip shop on the nearby estate, only a couple of minutes drive away.

The bar prices were rather expensive with Abbott Ale at £5.40 a pint, but that's to be expected.

Accommodation and staff we could not fault. The room was a very good size and the staff on the welcome desk were incredibly friendly and helful.

Breakfast on the other hand was hugely disappointing. After waiting a long time we heard that they did not have the ingredients required. We changed our order, when it came one ingredient from the full english was missing which was pointed out and she went back to the kitchen but this never materialised. It was also apparent that the other breakfast had been hanging around for quite a while. Not a good experience

staff were great in the hotel and in the pub/restaurant. Very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for where we were heading. Hotel rooms very clean and nicely laid out. Made to look like an older style hotel room so good styling. Spacious bathrooms.

Pub food menu was standard pub fair, good quality and reasonably priced. Could do with few more options using local ingredients to stand out a little more in the main courses but overall good. Didn't have desserts but seeing what other tables got, those looked like they had more flair

Double Rooms are comfortable, large double bed, clean and spacious

There is no lift, I did call in personally a week before to check size of bed and asked for a room on ground floor, which the receptionist did say I had, on arrival we were told our room was upstairs. Mentioned I was told previously I had been allocated a room on the ground floor , my comment was disregarded and told 'upstairs room 18' I believe at 85 a room upstairs carrying cases, bags etc is not ideal. Not happy. Plus shower over bath. Again not that happy, no grab handles for safety. We are not disabled, but bathrooms are not suitable for older people.

Our room was very comfortable. We were lucky to be upgraded to a disabled room, not that we needed it, but it did give us extra space making it easier to prepare for a wedding that we were attending. The room facilities were comprehensive and the room very clean and well prepared .

It would be wrong to say we “didn’t like” but we were a little disappointed with the catering facilities. It was a Friday evening and requesting two gin and tonics at the bar. There was no Gordon’s, no Bombay Sapphire but a wide selection of trendy coloured gins. Two shots were managed to be squeezed from a bottle of Hendricks. no salted peanuts available and we had the last packet of plain salted crisps. The meal itself was fine, but as selected bottle of wine was not available despite being on the printed wine list. So a bit of a logistical problem we felt which gave us as much amusement as it gave us frustration. But it does explain our overall rating of eight Peight being delighted with our accommodation.

This place looks new? Though the materials seems not of high quality, it is very clean, modern but with that English vibes, and everything is functional, which I hope they will be able to maintain. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The towels are so clean and soft. I struggled a bit with the toilet flush — not sure if it’s an issue isolated to my room. All hotel and restaurants staffs have been very nice. Great food too, we loved the mac and cheese and their full english breakfast is the best i had so far.

Great for a 2 night stay with excellent breakfast and nice staff. Clean spacious room with a small open wardrobe, desk, chairs X2 and bedside tables x2.. The addition of two or four drawers or shelves for clothing would be useful. The twin bedroom configuration adds to the spacious feel and is very pleasant. Beds are a bit soft and the regulation flashing light on the sprinkler takes a bit of getting used to in the dark...makes you shut your eyes. Overall,, it is a pretty good place and we enjoyed our stay.
