We had difficulty finding the hotel due to it sharing the same Sat Nav location as a farm. A phone call answered by Carrie the receptionist got us there. On arrival Carrie was absolutely brilliant and a great asset to the hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were very attentive. The hotel had a calming atmosphere. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good and the bar prices very reasonable..

If at all possible a different post code to the farm or a sign in the lane to the farm with a map saying go back out onto the main road turning right and carrying straight over at the roundabout where you will find the hotel on the right. The barman needs a little more training as I asked for a glass of sherry and he wasn't quite sure what it was. I appreciate sherry is not everybody's drink but it was served in a bulky tumbler and we would have preferred. a champagne or small wine glass if no sherry glass available. We did not get the bottle of wine we ordered but what we got was very good.

I live in Wootton Bassett and made the booking for my brother, but did not stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean and facilities are good. The restaurant is good and provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are charged separately. The location is excellent, close to the M4 motorway and Royal Wootton Bassett, although the road past the hotel can be very busy, especially during peak periods, which makes driving out a bit tricky, especially if turning right.

The only problem that my brother had was with the Wi-Fi in the room, which seemed sporadic and not really usable. The EV charge points require a special smart-phone app, so cannot be used if one does not have the app. Please mention the app. required on the publicity, if not already done so.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The hotel and room spotlessly clean. Although I didn't have a big breakfast, the breakfasts looked delicious. Great choice of hot and cold served in the lovely pub next door which was very convenient - and again, lovely helpful staff. Extremely good value for money all round in a great location. Highly recommended and worthy of all the excellent reviews it receives.

One tiny grumble...the shower over the bath was difficult to adjust to avoid getting my hair wet when reaching for the soap. The dispenser could be better situated for easier access for us ladies who don't want to wash hair daily! Otherwise all absolutely fine, as this was only a minor observation!

The hotel was very easy to find, lots of parking and pleasant vibes. The location was just what we were looking for, very close to all the places we wanted to visit at Cotswolds. Very nice, clean and quiet room, very comfortable shower, lovely restaurant with great service, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, they also have a bar.

- While they have great service, the food at the restaurant wasn't amazing. We liked the pancakes, other than that can't recommend it. - For some reason an employee was cleaning the windows of the rooms on the ground floor from the outside - while we are in the room and he can see us! We closed the curtains but felt uncomfortable. Very strange decision, not considering the guests privacy. - The insulation between the floors is so bad, we heard the people above us walking very loudly all the time. - The surrounding of the hotel is not the prettiest, it's located on the road with nothing much around.

The helpfulness of staff, our bath was blocked and once we informed front of house (the rest of us needed showers) they did all they could to try unblock with not much luck, they gave us a key to another room to use the shower (booked up so couldn't do a room switch and the room we used was a late check in). The Saturday breakfast was at 8am but we needed to be in lyneham by 9am. So after speaking to another member of staff in restaurant, he took our order and made sure our breakfast was ready for walking in the door at 8am. Cannot fault the churchill hospitality at all.

Only that our bath was blocked but these things happen and an alternative arrangement was quickly made.

Very well situated, comfortable bed in a decent sized room and spotlessly clean. Although close to the road the soundproofing is very effective. We last stayed here a couple of years ago shortly after it opened and had expected a bit more wear and tear but it remained immaculate. It is extremely good value. The meal in the adjacent pub was good and, possibly because there were few customers, the service was excellent.

Breakfast has a good choice available but the quality of some of the food offered is poor. The sausages served at breakfast were the worst I have ever had and were not eaten. The pastries available were also poor.

The room was clean, with a superb shower and a big flatscreen TV and plenty of mains sockets, including USB charging points. The hotel and pub staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu was very good, with the meals at very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking spaces outside and a short drive away was a petrol station, an ALDI, and a TESCO Metro and fish and chip shop on the nearby estate, only a couple of minutes drive away.

The bar prices were rather expensive with Abbott Ale at £5.40 a pint, but that's to be expected.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Pub next door equally welcoming and good food and drink at reasonable prices. Very good accommodation and parking

The only thing that stops top marks for this is that the air conditioning was not functioning and this coincided with the hotest days of the summer so far. There was nothing the reception staff could do about it; indeed they were sweltering at their desk. It was just unfortunate .

Accommodation and staff we could not fault. The room was a very good size and the staff on the welcome desk were incredibly friendly and helful.

Breakfast on the other hand was hugely disappointing. After waiting a long time we heard that they did not have the ingredients required. We changed our order, when it came one ingredient from the full english was missing which was pointed out and she went back to the kitchen but this never materialised. It was also apparent that the other breakfast had been hanging around for quite a while. Not a good experience

staff were great in the hotel and in the pub/restaurant. Very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for where we were heading. Hotel rooms very clean and nicely laid out. Made to look like an older style hotel room so good styling. Spacious bathrooms.

Pub food menu was standard pub fair, good quality and reasonably priced. Could do with few more options using local ingredients to stand out a little more in the main courses but overall good. Didn't have desserts but seeing what other tables got, those looked like they had more flair
