The Wifi was free and a good speed. The bed I had was very comfy and the cooked breakfast was excellent. All the staff were keen to assist with even the smallest request. The ongoing refurbishment did not cause too much of a problem and the hotel will be lovely when it is all completed.
I am quite easy going and so there was nothing that I could say annoyed me.

We actually did not stay in the Marsh Farm Hotel in the end but got the offer to stay the one night we had booked, at Stanton House Hotel, which is set in a beautiful natural location in midst of lots of trees and green fields. Upon contacting the Marsh Farm Hotel before our travel regarding concerns about their poor customer reviews recently, I was welcomed with an excellent and understanding customer service by the reception staff “Adi”. Due to a recent fire and the ongoing renovation works at Marsh farm Hotel we (big group of 14 incl a toddler) were offered to stay the night at Stanton House Hotel which is ca 20mins drive away from Marsh, but set in a beautiful location. We took up the offer and had a very pleasant stay at Stanton House. Mr Kumar and his staff looked well after us and ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. The dinner was tasty. Breakfast was decent too. Only issue, there was only 1x coffee machine, so you had to queue for a while.
At Stanton House the standard double bed rooms are on the small size. There was only minimal space to store luggage and move around freely in the room. Additionally, whenever the hotel room door was opened an alarming ring tome would sound 3x times before ceasing, waking people in the room.

We had a lovely stay. It was exceptional value for money. We had a room with a double bed and 2 singles, perfect for a single parent and 2 children. The room was clean and clear with 2 towels pp, coffee/tea and biscuits! The beds were comfy with clean white linen, the TV had loads of channels. The shower was powerful and there was complimentary shampoo/shower gel/soap. The breakfast was perfect. Nothing like previous reviews - there was huge choice of hot and cold food. The staff were exceptional- they were extremely helpful and polite. It was perfect for our overnight stop between Cornwall and Lancashire!
Nothing really! Our room was an outbuilding, so less pretty than the main one, but absolutely fine for us. Some of the wooden windows could do with a repaint!

Everything was nice. Fine old establishment with landscaped gardens and lovely surroundings. Great location, near M4 motorway and main roads, with small town of Royal Wootton Bassett just down the road, with pubs, groceries... Great stay for week of exploring Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol, Oxford. Room is freshly refurbished, soft carpet, nice furniture, could be bigger, but is really more than enough. Beds are soft and cosy, bathroom spacious and clean. Staff is helpful. Parking is free. Read some bad reviews, but couldn't agree with them.
Wifi works, but could be better, as usual in most of accomodations. Newly refurbished, but some things could have been left neater of cleaner.

Location was ideas, short walk into town. Reception check in was ok, friendly and helpful. Room was ok, needs a good hoover as quite a bit of dust found behind TV cupboard (room19), also the tap washers need looking as as they're not easy to turn off, water rushes out when you turn on cold water but both taps need attention, as does the plug/drain on the sink, loose. Breakfast was very good, nice selection of hot/cold food. Exterior of the hotel could do with a freshen up, paint/varnish etc, especially if it's being used as a wedding venue. Bed was nice and comfortable however my wife thought the pillows could have been a bit more firmer. All in all a decent stay.
Nothing apart from the taps, see above.

Room and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent - good choice and all freshly cooked.
The room was cold when we arrived as the heating was not working, although it was in the corridors. The staff were obviously aware of this as they had put an electric heater in my daughter and her husband's room. We had to ask for one to be put in ours. We were disappointed that the bar was not open as it is being refurbished. We did know from the booking.com website that the restaurant would not be open for lunch or dinner, however it did not mention that the bar would also be closed. It would have been good to have known this in advance.

Location is lovely easy to park room was so spacious and well presented really comfortable light and welcoming staff were all very friendly and welcoming breakfast excellent and good value - great choice and ready really quickly
A few parts need updating and would have been easier if plug behind bed accessible for phone charger breakfast . The jars for fruit etc to go with cereal probably need spoons or tongs and label for fruit juices to avoid confusion

My room was incredible. Large and comfortable with 4 poster bed and a single. Nice little extra office section with table, chair and lamp, as well as the table and chair in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. beautiful bathroom with both bath and shower and lovely shampoo and shower gel plus soap for the handbasin Lovely comfortable bed. . Breakfast was cooked to order, plus there was fresh fruit and cereals, jugs of juice and coffee machine. Parking was convenient and free. I will stay again. All staff very friendly and helpful.
The sausages appeared to be of the cheaper end of the scale. Everything else was great.

Room was good comfy bed, tap fittings were loose in toilet area, couldn’t get shower to work on warm, probably my fault hot knowing how the controls worked. Bathroom was spotless with lovely linen, soft towelsl. The bedside light were a little dim for reading. I have pointed out a few minor improvements that could be made but I would certainly return when in that part of the country. The breakfasts were brilliant and plenty of it. Overall, a really nice stay.
Nothing really, good value overnight stay

Impressive looking hotel, very clean inside. Our room was really nice and the staff are lovely. Provided a nice comfy cot for our 1yr old baby. There was a wedding on at the hotel that weekend and it was quite busy but the staff made sure we were still well looked after. We came to visit the Cotswolds and all the key destinations are easily accessible 10min-40min drive depending on where you want to go. The Cotswolds Country Park & Beach is really close. Great value in my opinion, especially for a Bank Holiday weekend, at a nice hotel!
