Breakfast was excellent. The location is great for walking to Cirencester or visiting other Cotswold towns to the north. The staff were friendly and lovely too. Room was very comfortable with good facilities including a Dyson fan which was essential at night when it was quite warm, even in April.

We had dinner and were slightly disappointed on a couple of items. We ordered baked camembert, but were advised to order more bread at an extra charge, which was fine as the portions of bread with the meal were inadequate for the amount of cheese. The cheese was delicious. But you should not have to pay for more bread in our view to enjoy a meal from the menu to its fullest. The other item was a lovely lamb dish which presentation wise was unappealing, although very tasty. Again the small portion of flatbread provided was inadequate for the amount of meat.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely boutique hotel with a clean, comfortable and stylish room, overlooking the river. Hotel decor throughout was in keeping with the boutique style. Bar and restaurant looked good, although only used the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was tasty and good quality. Secure entrance to the hotel when returning late.

Minor - no hand towel in room. Breakfast, whilst tasty and good quality, hot drinks were limited to one per person and portion size of the hot food option for my husband was small with no complementary additions such as toast or an extra egg, for example.

I have stayed here before as a solo traveller. The rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable. Perfect venue if you are seeing a show at The Barn. Pre show dinner was served in good time & was delicious. Staff in all departments were exemplary. Breakfast was also lovely. Fantastically lavish lounge area. I love staying here & wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you Ingleside House, Téatro restaurant & The Barn Theatre!

Nothing bad to say really. The big chandelier in the lobby stairwell & first floor lights were not working so that area didn’t look as spectacular as it should but; it made the fact that I’d been to see ‘Room 13’ at The Barn & was sleeping alone in a hotel room all the more hilarious. I really have no complaints & nothing went bump in the night!

We were impressed with the look and style of the place. The beds were very comfy. We loved the breakfast area in the basement which was very stylish and a cool and extensive breakfast menu. We also liked that the hotel was not far from all the shops and restaurants so it made it very easy to walk to having parked our car in the city center.

We found a fair bit of dust on the shelf in the bathroom. For breakfast, I ordered the sourdough with lime avocado and tomato and regretted it as sadly it was not as tasty as it sounded on the menu (way too much lime!). But still had plenty of fruit so enough to eat to feel satisfied. There was no handwash in our room so we kept having to use the showergel to wash our hands.

Bedroom was lovely! Interior was so classy and loved the vibe of the place. Beds were soooo comfy, bed linen was clean and crisp. Pillows were perfect! I stay in hotels a lot and the bedding/bed is a big thing and this was perfect. We stayed in Room 8 the Carlisle suite and couldn’t recommend it more! Bathrooms were clean and comfortable also.

The only thing that let our stay down was breakfast. We waited over an hour for coffee and sausage bap. Which I don’t really think is necessary. This wasted a lot of our time we wanted to get showered and sort everything out in the room after but by the time we were finished we had to check out.

Great location - less than 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Cirencester. Easy parking in public car park opposite hotel (and cheap). Fab decor in hotel. Very comfortable room. Staff were very friendly. Excellent breakfast with good quality ingredients. Cirencester is a lovely market town - plenty of cafes/restaurants. Tapas restaurant La Bobina was very enjoyable. For those who like a stroll visit the Bathurst Estate (£4 entrance fee) walkable from centre of town.

I like the old building in which the hotel was located. The decor throughout was exotic with its orange and blue oriental theme. The suite was comfortable and spacious. Huge bed was the centerpiece of the room.

We prefer a buffet style breakfast where you can choose what you can put on your plate rather than the guesswork involved in selectin from a menu and then being presented with a plate you don't really fancy. We asked to check in three hours early to change for a wedding and were charged £10 an hour even though we only spent forty minutes in the room - a little mean. And although it stated 'mini bar' on Booking, there was in fact none, odd for a 'luxury' hotel of this supposed calibre.

This hotel was amazing, such a quirky place. Decor was amazing. Room was really good too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We partically liked the personal touch of taking us to our room when we first arrived. Also a table was reserved for us in the bar as a kind gesture after we had asked about the entertainment whilst we were having a meal In the restaurant. Entertainment was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, and will definitely go back 😊

Only downside was that the restaurant food was very expensive for the quality of the food, for a 2 course meal for two and two drinks, it cost £96 which we thought was steep. Other than that, we had a wonderful time

Very convenient location for visiting central Cirencester with good (paid) parking opposite. Staff were helpful. Room comfortable and large and the homemade shortbread in the room was a nice touch. Enjoyed relaxing in the lounge while sheltering from the storm outside.

Window in bathroom was jammed open, but was fine as long as we kept the bathroom door closed. Topping for the French Toast at breakfast could have been more generous and it was odd to have a savoury salad garnish on sweet dishes.

Room nicely decorated. Short walk into town. Had dinner at associated restaurant 'Teatro' which was expensive and a real treat, but lovely. Communal rooms which we stumbled across were lovely and great for a quiet read - would have been nice to get a coffee too etc, however it was sometimes quite hard to find someone on reception / around. Staff we did speak to were pleasant however. Food was wonderful.

Room and very compact bathroom were quite small and felt a bit cramped and so we felt reasonably expensive for what you get. But it was still a great place for a night away without the children. The restaurant is amazing, and wish we'd known a bit more about the theatre next door before we went (this could be more of a selling point for the hotel!).
