James at reception was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and overlooked the garden. The twin beds were very comfortable. Quiet location. We had the Sunday roast in the restaurant. We waited a bit too long before they returned to take our order. The waiter said he thought we had already ordered. There were only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant at that time. The meal was just ok. There were lots of vegetables on our plate, but not a lot of meat. Beer was nice and cold.

The audio on the television kept dropping out. There was a faint smell of blocked drain in our bathroom. Room 40.

A very nice spacious room with modern en-suite shower. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. Spacious car park. Nice hot water in shower and wash basin which is not always the case in some establishments,

Hotel was situated further from the centre of Cirencester than we expected but as we are still reasonably fit the 20 minute walk was refreshing, if somewhat wet!! Although our room was very nice it was situated at the end of a very long winding corridor with steps which would have been difficult for anyone infirm.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 8 which included elderly parents who have restricted mobility and required an accessibility room. This was accommodated for in a beautiful, large spacious bedroom with a walking bathroom with no lips to trip on. Walk in wet room shower and discrete handles for support on sinks. There was a separate bath with support rails. Our bedroom was beautiful, spacious with a new across the gardens. A split level, large bath room with a roll top bath and a walk in shower was lovely. Breakfast was excellent value. Had a wide range of choice and the cooked breakfast was flexible within the option eg swap mushrooms for hash browns. The hot breakfast choice has a wide range of options. The rooms were spacious, clean and well serviced with hairdryer, coffee machine and water provided. Grounds were stunning with well kept gardens.

Car park was a little tight at the entrance when dropping off elderly parents but this was a minor point. Shower heads could have done with a clean

Location was great short drive from most things in the Cotswolds. Lots of parking extremely friendly staff who were super helpful and our two year old was very entertained by the staff at dinner. The food was superb breakfast and dinner. The rooms were clean large, tidy with great facilities and the hotel is nice and quiet.

Had one issue with the spa which had two very loud drunk people smoking in the spa area disruping the peace. But the staff apologised for there behaviour. And we're kind enough not to charge us for it. But all in all having traveled 90% of the UK this has to be one of my favourite places and hotels.

Hotel is beautiful and staff can't do enough to help. Amazing bathroom, fan provided in the room, good TV and choice of channels, comfy armchairs, refreshments in room good.

Booking site said the room would be upstairs but I wasn't anticipating the very winding, narrow staircase with varying stair depths with a door at the top which opened straight onto the stairs. The main staircase was wide but this additional staircase really isn't suitable for anyone with any type of mobility issue and that's not made clear on booking. Carpets really needed a good clean and the very large bed was made up of two singles - one of which had a very saggy mattress and the other a very firm one, making for an interesting night's sleep! I felt £19 for breakfast was too expensive and bought fruit and a yoghurt from a supermarket instead.

Our room was warm and cosy . Big comfy bed great pillows . Super fresh and crisp white bedding . Two comfy armchairs .the shower was lovely and warm and powerful , great Fluffy towels . It was quiet at night ,we slept really well

We could have done with more shower gel and there was no body or hand lotion so that would have been nice .the room Didn’t have a little fridge which would have been benefit . The windows collected a lot of condensation, it ran off them in the mornings and were a little drafty but the curtains were lovely heavy ones so luckily that made up for it . So just little tweaks really .

Lovely hotel. Room and bathroom size very good and clean, and the bed very comfortable so had a really good night's sleep. The waiter/bartender in the bar was exceptionally helpful, he seemed to be rushing around to help everyone everywhere! As soon as we arrived he straightaway came to our car and helped carry virtually all our luggage up to the first floor room. Later we had a nightcap in the bar and he was the most helpful and sociable bartender, nothing was too much trouble at all. My partner had a brandy and the bartender even offered to warm his glass so that the flavour of the brandy was enhanced! Never had that kind of service anywhere! We did not have any meals as we were attending a wedding on the day after we arrived for the whole day and decided to explore Cirencester and surrounding areas so ate out during our stay. The reception staff were also very pleasant and helpful. Also location was good, only about 10 mins into the centre of Cirencester itself.

Was not keen on fire escape window/door in our Room 2. We did not feel comfortable leaving the window/door open at night for some fresh air as it led on to the fire escape staircase to the car park. We had a problem with the cold sink tap, Literally a needle thin trickle of water for the first night and morning until the maintenance man arrived and sorted it out but it was fine after that. The paint on the bathroom sash window was old and flaking which was surprising because the bathroom itself was really spacious and nicely decorated with lovely bathroom fittings and flooring.

Dinner on first night was superb on the second night wasn’t quite so good but the very efficient and lovely young lady who looked after us so well offered us a complimentary pudding . The breakfasts and choice was excellent All the staff have been superb so friendly and nothing was too much trouble they are a credit to the hotel. My wife had a beauty treatment in the spa and she said was excellent the staff were very friendly.

The heating only came on the first evening and was cold in the room for the next two days and we had wet towels in the bathroom for the next two days as well the loo flush wasn’t working properly .

We had a lovely one-night stay here. The room is clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly (also to our dog) and helpful. The location is a bit outside the town centre in a quiet area ideal for a relaxing spa hotel. The supper and breakfast were very good. The dog isn’t allowed in the restaurant but we could bring our breakfast to the bar area which was great too; they offered us the menu from the restaurant in the bar area in the evening.

Nothing negative to say.

The room was cozy, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The staff at the reception as well as in the restaurant were very hospitable and helpful with their tips. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the cooked variant. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a terrace and the view of the garden, the lounge room downstairs was also a nice alternative to sitting in the room. The highlight of our stay was the hotel's spa, a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere!

I was sharing a room with a friend, unfortunately there wasn't an option of two separate beds - but we were informed in advance, so it wasn't a big disappointment. The floors are a bit creaky, as the hotel resides in an old house.
