Absolutely loved our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout, making us feel right at home. The location is quaint and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the on-site restaurant; the food was genuinely impressive. Another bonus was the breakfast, which was included in the price—great value for money and a lovely way to start each day. Would definitely recommend!

Good location, well appointed property apart from the rooms soundproofing which was abysmal. We could hear the occupants in the next room speaking and coughing till the early hours and whenever anyone moved in the room above us it was like a herd of elephants moving the furniture about.

Staff were friendly but VERY inexperienced. Service was extremely slow and erratic. We ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea when we arrived and twenty minutes later when I asked after it I was told that they didn't have any Earl Grey it was being delivered the following morning. No thought of offering an alternative. I'm afraid my comment "I don't want to wait that long for a cuppa" was probably misinterpreted. At the end of the evening whilst halfway through paying for our evening meal the member of staff was interrupted by another member of staff and never returned. I settled the next morning.

Lovely comfortable room in this old English pub. The staff were so helpful and friendly (gave us a late checkout so we can do a local walk, at a small extra fee), helped with directions and genuinely wanted to make our stay comfortable. We had a good breakfast, lovely glass of wine in the bar, in the evening. We loved it all. It’s not in a village however, so my sister got woken by a little traffic.

The main road (ask to be at the back, but if you have the window opens and are a light sleeper you will hear a few cars, nothing crazy!)

The room was lovely, very spacious, everything you needed. There was a lot of dust on the skirting boards, really noticeable in the bathroom. Needed a thorough clean. The buffet part of the breakfast was really good but the cooked option let it down. Eggs benedict was egg benedict! The bacon was very well done, very difficult to cut. The full English was disappointing, the sausage was smaller than my little finger and was cremated along with the bacon.

I had booked a twin room and a double room, on arrival we were told they did not have a request for different rooms. It was no bother for them though, the chap said to give him quarter of an hour and the twin would be ready, it was! The evening food was really nice, plentiful and they accommodated a few different requests we made. Our room was really comfortable and well serviced.

Breakfast was a tad disappointing, Hubbies bacon butty was just in thin bread, just looked un-appetising, as was my Niece's!

Food was lovely with great choice and quality. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great value for money, and the location was ideal for what we needed as we were on a training day nearby. Room was clean. Building has a lot of character. For one night and for the amount of time we were in the room it was ok, it was a good choice to stay overnight.

The beds (-we had a twin room) were really narrow and not the comfiest, and suspect they normally join together as a double. The room did look a bit tired in places. The TV signal was pixelated and breaking up, but we were only there for one night so not an issue for us. Room above was noisy and you could hear someone walking around for what seemed like ages at 0200 am.

This is a beautiful country inn with great rooms - spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the deluxe double, which was large and with interesting traditional decor. Breakfast was served in the pub and included a great selection of continental items as well as the option to order a hot breakfast. The dinner menu is also very good. The prices are perhaps not the cheapest, but they are in line with other places in the Cotswolds and the quality is good.

We loved our stay. The place was beautiful and very comfortable. It was in the perfect location in the Cotswolds, super quiet but not too far from lots of places to explore. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The shower was very good and the bed was comfortable despite being a little hard for my liking. The included breakfast was excellent with both continental breakfast options plus a choice of hot meal. I enjoyed my eggs benedict.

We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good. The room was attractive , clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom, a large and comfortable bed and large towels. I dislike milk that is not fresh, so it was good to be offered fresh milk from the kitchen for our tea and coffee in the room. The area was great as it was close to the villages we had planned to visit in the Cotswolds. The Inn had history and character, which was important for us.

We were facing the street, which was rather noisy. One of our breakfast waitresses was not particularly friendly.

upon arrival the carpark had plenty of parking space near to the rooms and next to the pub for us to park. We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome, booked in quickly and able to put our bags in our room straight away. The room was a good size, lovely comfy bed and well lit bathroom, plenty of hanging space for our clothes and a beautiful window seat next to the bed. Dressing table had a chair, so could sit and do hair/ make up in front of the mirror. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice off the menu and plenty of cereal and juice too. Staff were very accommodating and quick to remedy an issue we had with closing a window. Really enjoyed our stay, going to book again but for longer this time.
