I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room offered a beautiful view of the inner garden, which made it even more enjoyable. The decor was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear that attention to detail was given to every aspect of the room. I truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the comfort it provided. The English breakfast was diverse, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. It was a great way to start the day! The hotel managers were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. Their hospitality made the stay even more pleasant. The private parking was also very convenient, making it easy to come and go without any hassle.

The inn is a unique 16th century property - the room we were booked into was large with comfortable 4 poster bed, the decor is a little dated but immaculately clean, , tea,coffee, milk and biscuits provided & topped up daily by housekeeping staff, as were fresh towels and bedding as required. Our only issue was with the bathroom - would have liked a walk in shower due to disability and the bathroom window wouldn’t open. Every thing else was up to expectation. Breakfast was great, good choice, fresh produce, well presented and cooked - table service We ate in two of the 4 nights we stayed- the menu was good and the food excellent - freshly cooked, generous portions - served on hot plates and beautifully presented. Owners and staff at the inn are friendly and very accommodating without being obtrusive. Beautiful garden - well kept and tended, outside seating clean and immaculate, service good. All in all our stay at the Inn has been very good and we would definitely stay there if we visit the Cotswolds again.

Inn was described as on Booking .Com as being in 4 acres of ground - obviously this is no longer the case and I would suggest the website is updated to reflect this . Other than that our experience was positive and enjoyable

Our double room was lovely. Very clean and fresh looking. We had a beautiful view from our window overlooking the rear garden which was perfectly cared for. On arrival we were greeted by a very welcoming lady, I think her name was Celia. We had our two dogs with us and she wrote her names down which I thought was a nice touch. The owners/managers were very friendly and served in the bar/restaurant where the food was absolutely delicious and top quality. We are already planning on visiting again.

I have no criticism as such however we had a bottle of wine with our first nights meal and it was very expensive. This is not a criticism as it was our choice to have it but it might be a good idea to have a wider range of choice for those who find the price out of their pocket.

I think this is a suitable choice for a travel accommodation. Here, you can experience the charm of the ancient British countryside. This hotel has a very wonderful restaurant and bar, providing you with perfect dining services. Their service attitude is highly commendable. When they learned that we arrived rather late, they informed us of the closing time of the restaurant, which was very heartwarming. Each room has its own unique features, and the different decorations make us feel very novel. What's worth mentioning is that the breakfast is extremely impressive. You can order your favorite set menu and share it with your friends. I will choose this hotel for my next trip.

NEEDED MORE ON THE BUFFET, COLD MEAT?, CHEESE?, FRUIT OTHER THAN APPLES AND BANANAS ? AND YOGURT IN LITTLE POTS AND MARMITE IN A BIG JAR ?/ REALLY! EXPECTING A BIT MORE FOR WHAT WE PAID. BATHROOM IS TIRED AND SHOWER MUCH TO SMALL, WHICH IS A SHAME AS IT COULD BE LOVELY JUST IN NEED OF A BIT OF TLC. MEALS STOP AT 7.45 WHICH IS A BIT TO EARLY ALTHOUGH FOOD WAS LOVELY WHEN WE GOT BACK EARLY ENOUGH

Great location, lovely old Inn with lots of character. Good meals & comfortable rooms with bottles of water provided. Very dog/child friendly atmosphere in the Inn.

The breakfast was a little bit disappointing, the portions were small & no baked beans provided. Also our poached eggs were over-cooked. The website shows a very inviting family-friendly garden area with ‘Little Tikes’ style children’s coupe toys. We asked if we could have one but they are no longer available, not a dealbreaker but the website photos should be updated. We had looked at hotels with a playground or something similar for our little one so it was a shame there was nothing for him to play with outside.

The Inn at Fossbridge is a very old building and comes with it's very own little idiosynchrasies which is only to be expected. Very comfortable and everything is done to make you feel welcome. The food is wonderful and great pride is taken in the planning and presentation of the dishes. We really enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

The road is very busy and there is constant low traffic noise in the background when you are in the garden but you blank it out after a while. It's not intrusive, stops at about 7pm and we couldn't hear it in our room or anywhere in the Inn.

Upon arrival in the car park, we got to see a swan and her ducklings in the stream nearby. So adorable! The check in and reception was easy and staff were super friendly. It was an older building with definite personality. The room was quirky with a tub only, but we made it work. The pub area decor was super cool looking, and my aunt enjoyed lounging in the beautiful garden setting out back that evening. She said her double bed was comfortable.

My aunt didn't care for the tub hand held shower head- and the hot water ran out on her. It was stuffy in the room and we couldn't open the windows. I felt the bed spring on my back in the twin bed.

The location was perfect—peaceful and picturesque, with beautiful countryside views. The room was cosy and well-appointed, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were warm and welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations. We especially loved the delicious breakfast each morning, which set us up for the day. A truly relaxing and memorable getaway—highly recommend!

The only minor issues we encountered were that the room got quite warm at night at times, and the hotel's location on a busy road made entering and exiting a bit tricky. However, these didn't take away from our overall experience, and we’re looking forward to returning soon!

The authentic decorations, that part of the building untouched over the years and the history, the owners should be knighted for their hard work and determination, the staff working in harmony like a family, no one stops. It's definitely a location to relax and switch off from the rest of the world. The food from the kitchen just perfect, fresh full of flavours. Breakfast delightful. We definitely go back.

Those guests that when go back to their room are loud like they are the only one in the building it doesn't matter what time is, when someone goes back to their rooms should respect the others not talking loud, laughing and knocking walls. Giggling is fine.
