Great sized room in a perfect location. Bed was super comfy, shower (although small) had great pressure. The staff were wonderful as was the breakfast. A lovely, quirky hotel with a bunch of character right in the heart of Cirencester. We were fortunate to find free street parking until 8am, then just paid for 2 hours.

We had luggage for 7 weeks of travel and were put on the top floor - very difficult getting our heavy cases to the room. If you have mobility issues, this is perhaps not the best choice. No AC so the room was very hot - a fan was provided but did little. Carpets very stained & dirty. These were all small issues - we still loved our stay here.

The staff at the check in/check out were so helpful and friendly! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and nice linen provided. The building and restaurant was full of character, very quaint! Breakfast was delicious each day, good variety of options available to order (included in price). Location of the accomodation in town, very central, easy access to everything you could need for exploring Cirencester by foot!

Bathroom was on the small side, but does the job. The faucet of one tap in my bathroom seemed to drip regularly, and toilet had some issues flushing at times.

Really lovely boutique hotel with lots of character, loved the White Company products in the room- lovely to stay somewhere that has lots of history and character. Also the breakfast is very generous. Absolutely wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff. Really think this is a fantastic place.

nothing, this is one of the nicest places I've stayed. Might be difficult for someone very tall as this is a character hotel and has rooms that are definitely at least a couple of hundred of years old, however everyone here is so accommodating that this wouldn't even be an issue.

The food was really good, both breakfast and dinner. The lady at breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfy, the shower was clean and powerful. Accommodated our large dinner group in a more private area and managed to book bedrooms last minute.

The only thing was the pillows weren’t great, and the amount of dust in the room and bathroom was surprising. The wall above the bed is covered in dust, as was the cords in the bathroom. The rest of the cleanliness was good, it just needs a deep clean dust. Also, not the end of the world but there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room.

I really loved the decor of the room, and the room was well appointed. There are good overnight parking options available nearby. There is a great antique store located a few doors down, and The Corn Hall Market is a great place to find local artisans and resale items. Note: Upon arrival, you must walk through the bar and restaurant area to reach the front desk.

My room was a little noise sensitive, but it had more to do with parents in the patio area below not minding their children. The shower drained slowly and was very slippery.

Gorgeous hotel, I upgraded from a standard room and glad I did the room was spacious, comfortable and modern.

I was disappointed that when I arrived the FOH announced in front of my partner (who it was his birthday and I’d brought this trip away for) the price of the stay. I also booked a table at the restaurant which was lovely by the way but no acknowledgement of his birthday was I was a bit dissatisfied by. I have to stay I would stay at this hotel again though, just a shame they didn’t go that extra mile and the announcement of the price out loud which was totally unnecessary as I’d paid in full beforehand.

What did we like? Firstly, the location, which is perfect, right in the middle of town. Secondly, the staff who, without exception, were friendly, welcoming and extremely efficient in their jobs. Thirdly, the building itself, which is historically interesting, quirky, and tastefully modernised. We were lucky enough to be given one of the larger rooms, the bed was wonderfully comfortable and we had beautiful large bathroom with great toiletries. Breakfast with plentiful, delicious and lots of choice.

Welcome was warm and you felt as if you were a guest not a nuisance. The room was clean, warm, tidy but no bath and the shower only had a top jet so not getting hair wet was a bit difficult. Lovely toiletries, lots of hot water, fluffy towels, crisp bed linen. The evening meal was very good, food hot, tasty and the room had a nice ambiance, the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. The location was excellent in a very lovely town.

Sadly our room had a view of the bins and was above the kitchen so we had the sound of the extractor fan, the smells of cooking and bin emptying. I appreciate that the hotel has to run and somebody has to have that room. So only an observation not a criticism. The shower, please have a hand spray. Limited parking at the hotel, we were lucky and had a space, the public parking right outside the front is free from 6pm to 8am but you cannot put your money in the night before, you have to get up before 8am and do it, apparently the traffic wardens are vicious. The council need to make visitors to the town more welcome.

Facilities and location were great

Stayed for 2 nights and on night 1 I was kept awake by a lot of noise from people walking up and down the stairs outside our room and also walking in the room directly above ours around midnight. As the room we’d booked was expensive, I’d have expected better noise cancellation between the rooms as it sounded as if the ceiling could fall through from normal footsteps. Night 2 was not as bad but the noises still came through at different points. This combined with the workers on scaffolding directly outside our windows in the morning did not help contribute to a very relaxing sleeping experience.

Central hotel and a 24-hour carpark only a few minutes walk away, staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and was made to order. We also had an evening meal at the hotel, which was excellent. The bedroom had a good selection of tea and coffee and a coffee machine plus a small fridge which included a bottle of water. A visit to Cirencester Park is a must which is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel.

Due to being so central, we had a room at the front of the hotel and there is no double glazing so can be noisy at times, blackout blinds would be a good idea as well however the bed was very comfy.
