The property was very clean and staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good.

It would’ve been much better if the pool stayed open a little bit later, as me and my girlfriend got in and had to get straight out. And if there was drinkable tap water near floor 1, like a water stand or something.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff very friendly, helpful and informative. Very modern and stylish on inside (not so much outside) dining room very relaxed and great food. Breakfast was good but we went down an hour before breakfast finished and had to wait 20 mins for more cooked food as there was none left. No Continental option left also as all had finished and when we asked they would not put more out. Great facilities. Used the small gym and pool. Relaxed in the sauna DNA steam room. Great location too. Ideal for exploring Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Breakfast...lack of food and choices with an hour left of breakfast time. Must do better on this please. But. Food was excellent, especially the dinner menu and quality.

Location a bit further from Cheltenham than we would like but would still stay there again....

Free car park and spacious rooms. This hotel had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The bed was super comfortable and soft. Unfortunately because we were there for only a short time, we weren’t able to use the swimming pool/spa facilities. With this being the case, I was thinking that maybe it’s worth having a price for people who want to stay and also use the pool/spa facilities and a price for people who just want to stay in a room?

The rooms do feel slightly outdated but there were renovations going on when we stayed there, although I’m not sure if this was for the big communal areas only.

Staff were excellent, food was good and the place was spotless.

Our bed in room 34! The mattress had seen better days, a big dip on each side of the double which meant we were virtually lying on the base. Both me and my partner had 2 bad night's sleep. The staff did what they could and added some toppers but this didn't improve things. We felt like we were falling out. The hotel was full but on the 3rd night we were moved to a different room which was ok. This is not the sort of thing we expect in a 4 star hotel, that bed is not something that would have failed overnight and must have been like it for a while. It's a pity because it spoilt our stay. beds, etc, need to be checked more frequently for wear.

Like all hotels today, lighting is somewhat subdued which might be atmospheric but makes it more difficult to read, apply make-up, etc. However, mirror over desk/dressing table with adjacent power point was much appreciated Generously sized room, super king bed, fridge, tea making facilities, first class bathroom, good towels and bedding. Attractive grounds with good outside seating in garden. Excellent parking with bus stop on road outside for 22min (£2 one way) journey into central Cheltenham. Breakfast choices excellent taken in attractive dining room.

Bar staff need more training in customer service skills starting with smiling at customers.

Overall everything was good

We were not informed that the restaurant would be shut on Sat night due to a number of different Christmas parties. We were told we could wait in the lounge "for about 10 minutes", then eat at the bar. After almost 20 minutes we left. In the room we rang room service 3 times and reception 2 times to try place a food order but to no avail as no one answered the phones!!! We usually use Premier Inns and decided to try a different "brand" and were left somewhat disappointed! We had to be out by 8.30am each day to attend a craft course and as no take-away breakfast container was available, we had to use serviettes to wrap some finger type food in! NOT the service I would expect from the likes of a Delta / Marriott Hotel!!

Room was very comfortable, big comfy bed, good pillows, mirrors, tv, and bathroom etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the pool. We didn't eat at the hotel having read the reviews. We had breakfast at a workers cafe a 4 min drive away, Royal Cafe. Excellent service, prices, and food. Very nice restaurants close by in Cheltenham for the evenings.

Shower leaked continously and the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom bit neither issue bothered us. Room was quite dark and decor dated with brown wall paper. A lighter wall colour would really make the room nice.

The hotel was luxe, with the world’s most comfortable bed and squashy pillows! Excellent room facilities, like phone charging ports, tv, iron, hairdryer, fridge (used them all!) and a stylish bathroom with clean towels and branded toiletries. Delicious free breakfast too with juice/coffee, fruit,cereals, pastries and hot eggs/hash browns etc in a beautiful restaurant area. Helpful staff and clean plush decor, including free parking and short drives to main Cotswolds villages to tour!

Our shower had no hot water and the reception did not amend this so we had to use the shower attachment on the bath!
