I stayed in the Out of Africa room and it was everything I hoped for from the moment I walked in. The room was beautifully themed, absolutely spotless, and the bed was so comfortable. One of the highlights for me was the jacuzzi bath such a relaxing touch after a day out. Everything was just as described, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Nothing I didn't like but I just thought I’d let you know that during my stay in the Out of Africa room, I noticed a small area where the paint on the ceiling is starting to peel above the bed. It wasn’t a problem at all and didn’t affect my stay, everything else was absolutely lovely! I just wanted to mention it in case it needs attention before it gets worse.

Have stayed before, so the checking experience was most quick and straightforward. Although I didn't arrive til after 3pm, room was available from 2pm which is welcome. Stayed in The Willows, clean and spacious bathroom. Pleasant dressing room area which gave one a bit of privacy. We loved the lounge/dining area and enjoyed spending a bit of time in there. We did have a drink from the honesty bar which was all efficiently dealt with and paid for. Restaurants/cafes/pubs etc., only 5 minute walk away. Town centre a bit further, but a pleasant walk.

Great location, off-street parking and the building is quite grand and finished to a very high standard inside. Rooms were spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was the only disappointment. I understand the nature of the self service, unfussy, coffee and go concept. However, this is a lovely property and the breakfast offering can remain simple but a little bit more upmarket. Perhaps just a coffee machine and some fresh fruit and yoghurt would make the offering more appealing. However, I will most certainly stay again.

The room and the whole interior we saw in the building was very clean and looked very well maintained. We have stayed at much more expensive hotels that were not as well presented! The room and bathroom were both really lovely and everything felt like high quality fixtures and fittings. My wife commented that the lighting in the bathroom was excellent and made applying her makeup so much easier than doing so in the majority of hotels. Overall, a lovely experience and we also liked the booking in system, very quick and efficent, receiving your key like that. Also, the EV chargers were a reason for booking, going forward, I think an additonal couple of chargers will only help with people booking the hotel. Congratulations Fiona, you have an excellent establishment. We'll be back.

The self check-in was very straightforward and only took a minute to enter my surname on the screen outside the front door in order to retrieve my room card. Plenty of parking spaces available. My room was very quiet and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Also, I heard no chatting etc from the neighbouring rooms, which made for a quiet night.

I was expecting a little more for the 'superior double' price I paid. I believe it was approximately £150 for the night. This is alot of money to stay in what I felt was rather more of a 'small double ' than superior... I was toying with paying for the standard or superior, but ultimately, I was sold on the latter because the pictures online depicted parquet wooden floors in much more luxury looking rooms. Also, I was expecting a minibar as stated in the description for room, but I didn't seem to have one. And just a suggestion, a spare blanket would be good now the nights a turning rather chilly.

Our room was lovely, we would’ve liked to have stayed for another night! Really good location, great check in & check out times & I really liked the self check in service Love that it is a non pet friendly hotel as my husband is allergic to animal fur & we really struggle to find hotels that don’t accept dogs these days!!

The only downside was for the price we would’ve expected a cooked breakfast but we were well aware of this when we booked & it wasn’t a problem

We like the individual character of Beaumont House. We have stayed before and know each room is different and provides for all our needs. We like the ease of check in. We like the proximity to the centre . We like the ease of parking.

It’s not a big deal, and we acknowledge the availability of cafes providing breakfast locally, also the provision of breakfast bars and croissants, but we would still prefer a proper breakfast option.

Traditional house with modern refurbishment.10-15 min walk from Montpellier area. Our bedroom was on top floor with pleasant view. Spacious bathroom and plenty of applies for hot beverages in room. Communal areas downstairs were nicely finished and comfortable with an honesty "shop".

Only complaint would be the freestanding a-c unit in the room although it looked the part, it was completely duff as it sent out more heat from its motor than cold. We had a very stuffy stay/ poor sleep due to this. We had to switch off the unit and leave both windows open but was still too warm.

Our stay at Beaumont House was an absolute gem and the highlight of our vacation. The beds were extremely comfortable, and both the shower and bath were amazing. The view of the hill from our room was stunning and added to the tranquility of the experience. The hotel was super quiet, allowing for a restful stay. We stayed in two different rooms, and both had an exclusive and thoughtfully designed decor. Great pubs and restaurants were just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel also provided tea and milk in the room, and you could buy beer and soft drinks from the fridge in the common room. One of the best features was the A/C, which was a lifesaver during the extremely hot weather. Overall, this hotel offered exceptional comfort and convenience, making it the best stay of our trip.

Beaumont House is my go-to hotel when staying in the area and it never disappoints. The whole house is immaculate with no scruffy, grotty or tired bits anywhere. They don't serve food (which I knew before I booked so I'm not going to mark them down for it) but they do have a selection of muffins and breakfast bars, plus a selection of coffees and teas, which works for me. There are a great selection of cafe's, bars and pubs just 5 minute walk away. Fiona and the team are amazing, being friendly and helpful, making your stay as comfortable as it can be. Highly recommended.
