Staff and location were perfect. Lovely bar and garden. Breakfast was lovely . There are a few local shops and bars. We had a lovely walk into town and got a bus back after chatting to staff about what was the best way to get there. It was a lovely break. There was great live music on when we returned in the evening. Room had everything that we needed although it was quite small with the ensuite added in. Ideal for a 1 night stay though as we did not need wardrobe and there was room on the back of the door hooks to hold what we needed.
The door on the ensuite had a mind of its' own and also it could maybe do with a sign on it saying "mind the step" as the floor of the en suite is raised and my husband stubbed his toes on it twice as he tripped up it ( he didn't learn the 1st time ) .

its a plesant pub in a plesant place. It has a variety of areas for social ora relaxing stay. Restarant breakfast area, area ith dart,tv but also cosy bay sitting behind center post ,all with plenty of georgian windows . Thier a large games area skittals and pool table but family seating then a private garden and plesant seats also on front.Location means in 5 mins walking radious thier a few win bars or deli cafes including vegetarian cafe and a indian. Supermarket and petral staion, bus stop 2 mins from Pub and uber £6 to city. Room was pleasanty set out . Breaks more than enough, few serials, Jams, yogurts, selction of teas then full breakfast with plenty of toast(sadly restaraunt in evening was only sunday due to chef not well but they claim to do arrange of fresh food. Room nice wardrobe ,selction of coffee and windows. the town had a lot more to offer in arctecture, gardens food market and shops than expected . Full range of drinks served by peasant staff.
sadly to guarentee a ensuite they used the attachment that munches and push water and toilet through system so noisy and makes you concious of other guest latter in night if use.. But i understand due to logistics of room and glad to have an ensuite. Windows lovely but if light sleep you need to request room to rear ,traffic flow to evening and from early morning,

I arrived early, the pub had not been open long and was met by lovely friendly staff who explained everything about my stay and offered to find someone to help with my suitcase up the stairs - its a pub so no lifts. My room had just been cleaned and was lovely and well decorated with a clean new bathroom. TV with tea making accessories - nice touch on their part was coffee bags and a couple of biscuits, Lovely white fluffy towels too, Was able to open the sash window for air too. I popped out in the evening for food as I did not think the pub did food on Monday. Tuesday morning down to breakfast and was served by the owner who was nice and friendly. Lovely coffee and toast, I was hoping to stay another night but they were booked for the rest of the week. I can understand why its a good location near town and decent price for a Monday.
I parked in the street at the side of the pub and was able to see my car from my room yet there is not a secure car park.

Cute tiny place with extremely friendly staff. If you’re a fan of old English style (I am), you will find it pleasant. The room was really small but it had everything needed: clean enough, warm, perfect bed and surprisingly quiet ( we stayed on Friday night). It is far from the train station but we walked and had a really good chance to enjoy lovely area. The breakfast was included which made the price even more reasonable. It was tasty nicely served in a cosy space. ( Fresh flowers on the tables).
The smell of cigarettes in the bathroom was shocking! But we just shut the bathroom door tightly and opened the window))

Really friendly staff in a nice clean accommodation that was food value for money. The pub has loads of things to do. It was quiet overnight and the facilities worked well. The matresses were soft, but actually comfortable. The room was smart. Heating very warm and the window opened and allowed good vebtilation over a quiet street, awamy from the pub entrance. Clean and nice carpets and linen. I'd definitely stay there again.
Between the pub and the accommodation could probably be improved. The accommodation had some areas that could be improved, but no complaints from me as it was extremely good value for money.

Room is great overall, nice, clean with a good range of tea and coffee with mugs, not silly cups. Bed is not the most comfortable and decor a bit tired. Staff very helpful and genuinely warm and friendly. Sadly due to illness currently not serving food but there are several restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Sixways Spice Indian a very short walk, food was excellent 👌
The rooms fine but the hotel area seems a bit messy. Pet hate, cheap thin toilet paper. No where to put bottles etc in shower.

Staff were lovely, the location is perfect for Fantasy Forest. The breakfast was great, simple and easy, buffets of hot food are wasteful and expensive, I much preferred the table ordering that the London Inn does with just the cold food in the buffet, more hotels should follow this design
The bathroom felt a little unloved, the toilet roll holder was broken and there was some sort of pump system that made a very loud noise when the plumbing was being used.

From the start, we received a warm welcome. The atmosphere was lovely, and the customers were friendly and willing to chat. We were promptly shown to our room for the night, which was clean and comfortable. Considering the unusually hot weather, the staff kindly provided us with a fan, which was a much-appreciated bonus. We dined in the evening, and the food was excellent, although we couldn’t finish it all. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. We were visiting for the RIAT show, just 35 minutes away, and I’m so glad we discovered this charming little place. The parking availability was also a significant plus. Thank you so much; we will definitely be returning.
Nothing really

The second time I have stayed there while having work done at home. The location was good just out of town meaning I could find free road parking. The rooms are always very clean and cosy. TV, Tea/coffee and kettle even with a couple of biscuits. Breakfast was lovely and they cater for vegetarians - nice touch was added sticks of grilled halloumi and good coffee too. Bathroom has white fluffy towels - another great touch.
I get worried if I cannot park my car nearby yet there are always spaces in local roads and all was ok.

We stayed in a family 3 bed room with ensuite on the front of the property and a double room at the back. The beds were really comfortable, for someone who suffers with back issues I dread nights away as it can really set my problems off, however these beds and mattresses were superb, we all had a great night sleep and no stiffness in the morning. Very quiet room, we thought it might be a tad noisy, but it wasn't at all. It's great value for money, friendly helpful staff, lovely fresh breakfast, can't go wrong for the price we paid. No Parking apart from street parking which during peek times could be tricky but when we visited it was fine.
Only slight negative is parking however its standard for location.
