Lovely building on a quiet street with car parking and within walking distance of the centre. The room was clean with a comfortable bed (had a great sleep) and modern bathroom. Equipped with a kettle, plenty of tea/coffee/milk and bottles of water. Although a basement room, a window provided lots of light. We arrived late, but were still able to have a drink in the bar.

We really liked the hotel but if we were looking for a slight negative it would be the one packet of biscuits provided for the two of us in our room and for a £15 cooked breakfast we were only given 1 slice of bacon (the rest of the breakfast was good).

Comfortable bed, modern clean bathroom, parking available and a good cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly too and happily provided an iron and ironing board on request.

The hotel was quite dated and looks better on the photos than in real life. Unfortunately the dog in the next door property was barking quite a lot, so despite it being in a quiet area, the barking was noisy. There was a used plaster stuck to the carpet in our bedroom, which left us feeling as though the place was a bit dirty and perhaps hadn't been cleaned very well. There was also no full length mirror and we were due to go to a funeral, so that would've been handy to make sure we were presentable. The cooked breakfast options were good, but not much of a choice laid out on the buffet table, only toast and a choice of two jams which were cheap jelly like jams.

The check in experience was smooth and quick, with the added bonus of being upgraded upon arrival! Our room had a comfy bed, with a big ensuite bathroom, complete with a good shower and a separate bathtub, as well as the usual amenities expected of the space. The room had a TV with a range of channels, and a good view of the football stadium, which happened to be the reason for our trip, so the location for that was excellent. Both members of reception staff I spoke to were friendly and informative about the hotel and our stay, which was good.

The hotel is in an awkward location if arriving by train, as I did, as the walk is around 45 minutes, though other modes of transport are likely available for a price. Aside from that, the town centre is a bit of a walk too, but not too awful, so that should be kept in mind.

Beautiful room full of character with a lovely large bathroom. Very quiet location within a 10minute walk to the centre. Parking on site was a bonus. All staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and were very efficient in their dealings with us. Super soft extra large towels and quality bed linens. Good choice of options for a continental or cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price. We had previously stayed at a number of different chain hotels in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area but this was a much more pleasant experience - we will be returning.

The Grange sits in its own grounds with plentiful off road parking. Friendly greeting. Simple check-in and check-out. We stayed for two nights. We didn't have breakfast there, but it was available for an additional fee. The room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Lovely bath and shower en suite which was well equipped with toiletries. Convenient for the town centre, just a 10 minute walk to John Lewis. We hope to stay again.

We found the mattress a bit soft. A meal option included in our price would've been a bonus. Their were other price points for booking a room at the Grange. We were on a tight budget as we'd already had to pay for a hire car (due to last minute engine problems with our own vehicle).

Friendly staff, cozy room with a modern bathroom. Room service was patient & attentive, the majority of our stay we woke up late and headed out at around 1/2pm each day, room service was made aware when asking, returning just as we left & cleaned the room to a lovely standard. The hotel staff were also incredibly friendly & welcoming.

There is no lift, this can be an issue with heavy suitcases however with a building such as this it is to be expected! Also you can hear your neighbours outside quite easily.

The staff were excellent, particularly the lady who managed the evening service. She was very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The property is well maintained, and my bedroom/bathroom was warm and nicely decorated. They also provide two bottles of water. The bar area is cool and they serve IPA on tap!

Only minor issues. I stayed in room 6 and was disturbed by a loud fan at 7am or some other continuous noise coming from below. The bathroom had an unpleasant odour, which I believe was coming from the drains. Breakfast not included in the price.

The managers and staff were very helpful. We were on our way to a wedding and running late due to traffic, but although our room wasn't ready yet for check-in, we'd messaged ahead, so were able to quickly change our clothes in the main washrooms and leave our cases in our room. The location was perfect for us, en route to the wedding at Sudeley Castle, and there was plenty of room in the safe free car park in front of the hotel. We got back very late, but the manager was still there to see us in. The room was clean, the furniture was a bit 'tired', but the twin beds were very comfortable, apart from slightly firm pillows which may not suit some. The bathroom was lovely, very modern and immaculate. The shower was a big roomy, modern, hot, rain shower which was much appreciated next morning. It was perhaps a bit expensive, but with such a good location and lovely management I'd definitely stay there again.

Nothing I didn't like really - apart from perhaps the pillows. The furniture was a bit 'tired' - a mixture of cheaper vintage pieces that were a bit sad and neglected - needed a good layer of polish.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring, its not right bang in the centre (15mins away) but to be honest that was a good thing as it was nice and quiet. The hotel itself is really nice, its needs some freshening up and repairs in places but overall it provided everything we needed. Incredibly clean including the room, great breakfast (note the hotel doesn't provide meals outside of this) and the staff were amazing, so friendly and so helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Just needs some TLC in certain areas to bring it up to the standard of other similar hotels we've stayed at.

Location, on site parking, can’t say more than that as we didn’t explore further.

We were lucky to have been upgraded on arrival but sadly the hair dryer was very basic, the TV didn’t work but we noted for some reason this had been turned off at the socket, the remote control was warn and well used hence the program guide button didn’t work and unfortunately I noticed a long hair on the shower screen. These are not reason however that would stop me staying here again.
