The King room (named Owl) we had was large with a good sized bathroom. The room overlooked a courtyard which is on the cooler side of the building from what the cleaner said. The extra large bed was comfy and the location is perfect as you come out onto the High street at mid point. We managed to get on the parking space at the rear.
Unfortunately the pop up sink plug didn’t work but not a major issue and if you’ve got the the window open and your a light sleeper you will hear the constant humming noise of the roof top fan on the opposite Lygon Arms.

Beautiful bright and large room, plenty of space and large bathroom. Very comfortable beds. There is no host to great when you arrive but there was lots of communication from them on how to access the room. There was plenty of parking available at the Lygon pub next door, this is at the back of the property and the staff here were very helpful. We had dinner at The Lygon and The Swan, highly recommend both locations.
Property was slightly difficult to find as you cannot drive directly to it from the front and our sat nav kept advising it was on the opposite side of the road. It is behind the small cafe beside the Lygon and you cannot see it from the main road. Very easy to access from the back car parks once you follow the clear instructions provided, if you aim to go directly to the car parks it will make accessing this property a lot easier.

Our room, Fox, was lovely - clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortablexwith a good mattress and the ensuite was also nice with soaps/shampoo and conditioner all provided. It was lovely to have a little bottle of fresh milk and cold water in the fridge and a good selection of teas, instant and ground coffee provided as well as biscuits. The location couldn't have been better.
We had a bit of difficulty finding the parking spaces and the property as building works were going on in Back Lane and made the signs less easy to see. That will no doubt be sorted once the work is completed.

We managed to park in one of the two designated spaces, even though the signage was obscured by a traffic cone! Figuring out where to go next was not immediately obvious... Better signage would have helped. But thankfully it wasn't raining yet so that wasn't a major issue. The bedroom was spacious and had good facilities, including a fridge containing oat milk which was very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and large. The bedside tables were a tad cluttered, could have done with a bit more space for putting our mugs, phones etc next to us overnight, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall the bedroom was really good.
The bathroom was tight for space, the shampoo/body wash had run out, and the controls for the shower/tap/temperature were stiff and difficult to fathom. Instructions would have been helpful.

My room was spotlessly clean, nice touches such as ground coffee and fresh milk were very welcome. I had an issue during my journey to the property but the staff were able to quickly help me out via clear messages to locate a first aid kit and a corkscrew! I enjoyed a relaxing bath (with my glass of wine) before having a really great night’s sleep in a super comfy bed with nice fresh bedding. Breakfast isn’t included but there’s an arrangement for a discount at the cafe a few steps away. Good info sent beforehand helps to find the allocated parking. Would stay again and happily recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The room was very clean and comfortable, looked recently renovated; the lodge is tucked away behind a building on the main street so it's quiet.
It was only mid-may and very slightly warm outside, but already quite warm inside - there was the least effective fan known to man running when I got there, which I didn't need overnight (it barely moved any air anyway despite spinning like mad), but I really can't imagine what you'd do here on a hot day in July. So really this is speculation on my part.

The Lodge is made up of a number of themed rooms. It is not a b&b but a hostless place, however if that is not important to you then this is a fabulous place to stay. We were in the Pheasant room which was simple but really nice. It was very, very clean throughout with a comfortable bed and sofa, standard wardrobe space and a storage container for extra bits. The bathroom has a shower and there was a great selection of tea/coffee facilities. It is ideally situated straight off Broadway High Street, which is just the most amazing and quaint place.

Beautifully presented room with lovely large en suite bathroom. Superb location in central Broadway. Very private with easy self check in and great communication.
Mattress a little too soft for us so we didn’t sleep as well as usual. Body wash and body lotion had run out and there was only one English breakfast tea bag. We didn’t report those things while there as we had brought our own, so it wasn’t such a problem for us. Should be pointed out though!

Location to high street good. The room was clean and tidy.Comfy double bed.Good decor, ideal for a two or three night break. The family room was better than I expected. The two single beds were almost like they were in their own room. The kitchen had large fridge, washing machine. There was also a dining table which was ideal to have breakfast before going out for the day or to do a sandwich.
Parking in Back Lane is tight but that could be to do with renovations being carried out in other buildings .After parking i then found it difficult to find the building that I was staying in due to the building work.Once I had found property it was easy.We stayed over the weekend so no builders about and it was very quiet.

There was not a manned reception but instructions were clear on how to access the property. When I had to phone/contact anyone the response was immediate. The rooms were immaculate! Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. It all looked like a new build. The showers were brilliant! Very powerful. The lighting was brilliant. Plenty of overhead lighting which I have found lacking in many other hotels I have stayed in. Rooms were bright and airy. Super comfy bed. 4 pillows on the bed and I was able to choose the one that suited me best Fridges in the rooms with milk and water in them. Radios in the rooms were a nice feature too. If you can't manage a staircase it's not for you as all accommodation is up a flight of stairs. Parking space was limited due to building work being carried out so we had to use the car park of an adjoining hotel. This had already been arranged by The Lodge. There was plenty of spaces and some electric charge points which we needed. That hotel charged £6 per hour for charging usage. Not sure if this is expensive as it's the first time we've had to charge the car away from home. I would definitely stay here again.
It was very hot the night we were there. There is no air con but very efficient fans were provided. Many hotels do not have air con but it would be a lovely feature to have had. In my room, named Hare, the plug pount was not next to the mirror. My hair dryer has a long cable so it was not a problem but it could be for someone else. The night I stayed it was very hot and the duvet on the bed was winter weight. There was a light weight throw on the bed which could be used instead but it would have been too small if two people were staying. None of these points spoiled my stay and would prevent me staying again.
