Great central location right in the heart of broadway. We booked last minute and weren’t expecting much but had a beautiful room with four poster bed. Check in was hassle free and room was ready early.

If I had to be really picky I would say that the restaurant could just do with a bit more atmosphere ( but we had a lovely dinner & breakfast in there).

Nice clean restaurant, breakfast was adequate as was dinner. Room was spacious and clean.

Not having a walk in shower, bit of a struggle climbing over the bath to shower. Not too keen on dogs in rooms, but it’s the countryside, so I suppose that’s to be expected.

The Abbotts Room was superb.... had a small area inside the main door, where there was a built in wardrobe (with long mirror inside!).. bathroom and hall table and lamp. Large bedroom with king size bed, 2 comfy armchairs, window seat, stool at dressing table with mirror (which is rare in many places!). Coffee/tea facilities. Very well decorated. History of the hotel was set out in a folder and was fascinating. Dining/breakfast room was very spacious and food excellent. Couldnt fault any of the staff... all superb. Receptionists very helpful and welcoming. A Dyson air cooler was in our room which we used alot due to very high humid temps outside, even overnight. Free car parking for Residents, always a bonus.

Our room was on the first floor at front of hotel, outside which was a large seating eating/drinking area. Thankfully wasnt a problem, but there were ashtrays on the tables directly below our window. Not very sensible to have smokers sitting there right under the bedroom windows?

Loved the age of the property, the decor and the open fires, making it a warm cosy atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were very well balanced and the sitting room a nice place to relax. The hotel certainly gives the wow factor on arrival and the addition of the car park a great plus.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, more of pointers, to improve guest experience. It would be nice if there was an offer of taking luggage into guests room we stayed in room 30 which was up a steep narrow staircase which is really lovely it would be made even nicer with a lamp or candle in the beautiful feature window. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the presentation was lovely. However staff do need to make sure that the continental breakfast table is fully stocked at all times. On both mornings when we arrived at 9.00am there was little left.I did hear others guests saying the same. However once this was pointed out staff did replenish, but I do feel that they should be keeping stock and not letting it get to the point where guests are having to ask.

This short break was a special birthday treat for myself and it was the ideal place to share it with my family. The location was perfect, being in the centre of the village and shops etc within walking distance. The hotel was lovely and the staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Our room was very cosy and well equipped and the adjoining en-suite was very clean. Our meal in the evening was very good with a good menu which suited all our party. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up for the day. Altogether we all enjoyed our stay and definitely would visit again if we are in the area. I

I could not really find anything that upset me. Although there was a mix-up with ordering of the meals in the evening and one of our party had to wait a little longer for their meal it didn’t cause an trouble and things were put right.

The location was excellent, with reside ts parking and right in the middle of Brodway, which was one of the prettiest villages I have seen with a good amount of shops and restaurants and easy to access other cotswolds villages and towns. The hotel it's self had a good bar and restaurant. Our room (number 11) was lovely looking over a beautiful residence garden and patio, which was a nice addition. All staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and helpful. In terms of small improvement, some of the walls in the bedroom and dining room could do with a touch of paint, and the breakfast cereals were a bit limited, e.g, no alpen or equivalent. However, I would definitely return and recommend this hotel

Location on the High Street was brilliant. Garden room was a tiny snug which had all the proper amenities and of a high quality. Good shower and bath facilities. It was quiet, with easy access to private garden & hotel. Parking was easy and free. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The cooked breakfast was very good and to the standard expected for this style of hotel. It also had a well stocked bar.

The continental breakfast was sparse. Fresh fruit was limited and not much available both mornings. The pastries were tiny, variety limited, and not freshly baked. Dinner was expensive for the quantity and quality of the meal. We had chicken breast, mash and broccoli. It was in fact 1/2 chicken breast, 2 broccoli stems and a small tablespoon of mash. Though tasty and well cooked, presentation finesse was lacking for the price and the quantity was small.

Lovely traditional Cotswolds hotel, we stayed in a snug room accessed at the rear of the hotel, external door entry to our room. Comfy clean room, nice touches in the room with good quality toiletries. Tea and coffee tray with yummy biscuits provided. Breakfast was included and was vey tasty. Our breakfast order on day two was forgotten after we asked a full apology was made and we then didn’t have to wait too long. Staff we met were all very polite and friendly.

We had planned to eat in the restaurant on one of the evenings but none of the main meals appealed. This was personal taste only.

Reception staff excellent, located fantastically for everything in the village, very secure parking. The breakfast was really nice with excellent produce and especially on our second morning the young lady in control really impressed us and thanks to her it was an enjoyable and smoothly run sitting. The bar is a nice place to sit and relax and staff here were excellent too! Our room No.1 was excellent and in a great position overlooking the green etc. bed very comfy and tv superb.

Nothing Just the smallest of gripes was not enough sugar or milk in the room but nothing to mark the hotel down on, reception sorted this issue with no effort at all
