The breakfast was amazing. Good choice and excellent food. Service was also excellent. I used to live in Cheltenham,many years ago and considered the Montpelier restaurants to be the best so we had dinner there. In hindsight I wish we had tried dinner at this hotel based on the breakfast experience. Next visit we will do that.

I realise the hotel was built many years ago and the owners have modernised it tastefully. We just struggled with space to put the cases. It would have been nice to have bottled water in the rooms and decaffeinated tea as well as decaff coffee.

On arrival there was plenty of parking and we were upgraded to the Executive room with garden view, this is always a plus. Mini bar was included and the location was perfect with just a 5 minute walk into town with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Wifi was touch and go, always had full bars but sometimes had to come off wifi especially when in the room. Great connection and speed when it worked, we wasn’t there for business so this didn’t really bother us, but could affect other guests. Through no fault of the hotel, the room above us was very noisy and on the final day was awake from approximately 4am. I’d say there was something loose rattling in our room (I believe it’s the sash window) which didn’t help with the noisy guests upstairs.

Easy to get to, clean comfortable room, good shower room very clean. A good breakfast choice. Well cooked . Welcoming friendly staff. Carparking on site although was charged at additional £10.

Disappointed to find on checking in that the swimming pool was not on site but in a different location. Maybe partly our fault for not fully reading all the information on the facilities when booking. However it states on the 1st page indoor swimming pool, which we thought meant it was within the hotel premises. We didn't use this facility because we felt uncomfortable using a swimming pool within a gym environment.

I wanted a hotel within walking distance of the Everyman Theatre in the town centre, where I had booked to see an evening show. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the theatre. It is located in a quiet street and there is a small park across the road from it. There is some on-site parking available and a large NCP car park a few minutes walk away. The hotel was clean and the rooms were well-equipped. Staff were friendly. Food was good.

There was nothing not to like about it as far as I was concerned.

The staff are always excellent and do whatever they can to improve your stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious again. The location is perfect right on the edge of the brewery quarter, but still on a quiet, leafy square.

The only minor thing was that our room was very hot, even without any heating on. I think the central heating pipes run upstairs behind a panel, which generates a lot of heat. As it was ground floor with an old sash window, you don't really want to leave the window open.

The Clarence Court hotel is an old building, full of character. The location is great - only a ten minute walk into the centre of Cheltenham. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to help.

On the ground floor, one can hear everything going on outside in the corridor (and presumably this occurs the other way round as well). The room wasn't super clean when we arrived, including the toilet which had marks from the previous occupant on for several days (despite me mentioning this to the staff).

We loved our stay at Clarence Court, it was on the side of a quiet little square turning left out of the hotel it was a10 mins walk into Cheltenham High Street, turning right out of the hotel takes you to a lovely park. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and was so delicious. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I loved Wellington the room guard 😊 who welcomed us on arrival in our room. Room was clean and spacious and it was lovely to have a bath and separate shower in the bathroom. Was a bonus to have free parking

Very impressed with The Clarence Court Hotel. Only there for one night as I was working in the area. Very handy for central Cheltenham with free parking at side of hotel. The Brewery Quarter which has loads of bars and restaurants was less than 5 minutes walk away The hotel has its own small basement bar which was nice Room itself was well decorated, well stocked, spacious and very comfortable Had a good night’s sleep Shower was over bath but was good with plenty of space due to curved screen. Breakfast very good. Good choices including full English, cereals, toast, pastries etc etc Very impressed Would definitely be happy staying here again

Quite central only a little walk into Cheltenham & free parking. Had problems finding somewhere nice to eat in the evening nearby maybe the hotel would have been a good choice but it was a Christmas menu which we didn't want.

We had a relay attack on the car which was parked just outside the bedroom window.. luckily only contents were taken from the boot..No damage at all to the car! Police were very good but unable to do anything as the hotel had no CCTV & we saw no signs of security lights. Which they said they had! The car keys lived in the SS pedal bin the following night...incase of a return trip to take the car....It put a big dampner on our Xmas break weekend & we won't be returning.

The check in was easy with very helpful and pleasant staff. The room very spacious. The bed large and comfortable. The location is ideal to all main restaurant areas. Although we did not have a car we did notice there was plenty of parking on the property. Room clean, linen good quality and clean. TV good size. teas and coffee with cookie appreciated and continually replaced. Ground floor accommodation appreciated as huge cases impossible with staircase only.

When the one used shower cap broke and was not replaced. The replaced towels had one missing. Light at night outside room 4 a little bright. Breakfast traditional , although generous in quantity served, was little on the oily side, but the continental was good.
