The Fish hotel was absolutely exceptional! It blew me away. The staff were amazing from start to finish and the setting is beautiful. We were travelling to the Fish to celebrate my partner’s birthday and the staff made it truly special, from the wine card, the birthday chocolates, and the celebratory birthday desert in the restaurant. There are so many additional features and small touches that make this hotel so beautiful, from the muck boot room to the little maps provided to navigate the area, no detail goes missed! It was a truly special trip, made even more special by just how beautiful this hotel truly is and how wonderful all of the staff are! I was initially sceptical due to the cost of a one night stay, but I must say that the Fish is truly worth every penny and the restaurant is a must! Everything was beautiful and I can’t recommend it enough!

Fabulous breakfast, excellent choice of menus at the restaurant/bar. Very dog friendly hotel, with very good facilities. Staff went out of their way to make a fuss of our dog everyday. Stunning location, with easy access to the local villages. Lovely walks from the rooms and maps provided.

In the stables the temperature could not be controlled in the room. However the staff were very helpful and brought a dyson fan to cool the room when we mentioned this. Chilled water could perhaps have been available in the stables communal fridge (during warmer weather)

From start to finish, we had an amazing time. The room was just perfect, in pristine condition with a terrace that overlooked beautiful rolling hills in the distance. The grounds are stunning too. The facilities were immaculate and there were lots of fantastic touches such as a boot room from which you can borrow wellies, complete with printed maps of various walking routes. Broadway town centre was about a 30 minute country walk away. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We celebrated a special occasion and were kindly gifted with a gift card for a few glasses of wine which I thought was exceptionally kind and a real special touch. Thank you!!!

There wasn't really anything we disliked!! My only piece of constructive feedback would be that the prices at the hotel restaurant could be improved - £3 per person for a few slices of bread and a small knob of butter at dinner seemed a little steep.

The staff were generally great. It was a comfortable check in experience. Rooms were very nice (recently renovated) We dined there one night at the bar, the food was pretty good and the wine. The breakfast is fantastic and good coffee. The grounds are beautiful and you're not far from the Broadway Tower and Broadway town.

Our room had an adjoining door to our next-door neighbour's room. We love dogs, but their dog was whining at night the entire time until they got back to their room. Because of the door between rooms, the soundproofing wasn't great. No fault to the guests next door. While our dinner was nice, the squid dish was very small and not worth what we paid. The lighting to the Coach House rooms from the main building could be improved

Beautiful grounds, large rooms, huge bathroom, high quality finish & furniture. Nice outdoor space to relax. Lots of parking. Lovely environment. Hook was a nice place to enjoy breakfast.

TV was a pain to work, casting repeatedly disconnected whilst trying to watch a film. No recycling in the room (super surprised given they are working in applying for BCorp status & recycling is widely available in Glos). Plug sockets by bed all had things already plugged in with left nowhere to charge things.

Perfect for relaxing and kicking back for a few days. Quiet afternoons in the lounge area or a drink and meal in the bar/restaurant, the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Food in the Hook Restauarant was excellent as was the breakfast. Having stayed at dog friendly hotels in the past, the experience at The Fish takes it to a whole different level, our little dog also had a Pawsome stay.

There was very little not to like, however, if I was being very picky, there could have been more consistentcy of service to guests sitting in the lounge area.

For a couples weekend awayy in the tranquility of the English countryside, this ticked all the boxes. We had a lovely spacious suite in the coach house, enjoyed the various lounges available on site and relaxing walks around the grounds. The food both in the hook restaurant and bar area was great. For a relaxing stay with a slow pace of life, I couldn't recommend it higher. I can't wait to return.

The Fish exceeded our expectations the room we had was amazing and comfortable... the food awesome... and the staff too... great place to go for a special occasion... my wife and I went there for dinner 8yrs ago when we stayed at Dormy house and vowed we would come back... now we're upset that we're back home ... only joking 🙃 but we will go back again..!!

Booked a hideaway hut; room was great and hot tub just what we wanted. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. Had dinner one night in the restaurant and was tasty. Possibly the highlight though was getting a pizza delivered to the room - came within 15 minutes and was amazing; far exceeded expectations!

Very small point, but once seated for breakfast things happened very quickly, but then to try and order a coffee / tea refill was quite slow.

The whole stay was amazing! Location was perfect, with great walks to do around the Cotswolds. The food was delicious, especially in the hook. We couldn’t fault the service, they were attentive throughout our stay, we even arrived to a lovely set up for our dog, including a bed, bowls, treats and a new toy. Would 100% return and would recommend
