The staff and service were extremely accommodating. We booked a large room and it was very spacious and clean. Swimming pool, and gym excellent - all towels provided for hotel guests. The facilities were good and the location made it easy to travel to other areas of the Cotswolds. Lovely little pub on site gave additional food and drink options as the hotel restaurant books up quickly.

We had a room with an adjoining door, which meant we could hear our neighbours. The bathroom had had a leak (prior to our stay) which left a rust stain on the wall and bubbled paint- this was a quick fix but needed maintenance. Quite far from the town centre so a car is needed. All else great!!!

The Receptionists and most the bar team were amazing really made my break more relaxing. Spa treatments were excellent value for money however disappointed the pool/jacuzzi areas

Some of the staff were unhelpful, verging on rude and there were only 2 that were working properly. They left plates, glasses on tables for hours, didnt bother restocking the bar and the management seemed to take it out on the next staff on shift instead of the ones actually doing there jobs My first room was dirty, hairs everywhere, peeling paint, ripped headboard and was so small I felt claustrophobic however the receptionists swiftly resolved this by changing my room and then I had no issues

The staff where amazing, food was amazing, room was clean.

We arrived at 2 pm, and people's pots and food were left in the corridor until we went back to the room at around 9 pm, and they were still there. I don't feel these should have been left there so long. Also, all the fire extinguishers i saw had sticker on them saying immediate action required, which was concerning. Also, I was expecting a bath for the room, but when I asked staff, they said that all the baths had recently been removed for showers, this could have been done with being noted on the website.drinks prices also very steep £6.80 - £7.80 for a pint is scandalous.

We had been allocated a car park facing room but were easily relocated to a garden view room. The room was lovely, comfortable with a really good shower and toiletries in the v nice bathroom. Breakfast was good and we ate in the bar at night which was also good. Have to book ahead to eat in the restaurant but we were warned of this . All the staff were very nice and very helpful. The hotel was a bit of a retreat for us as we were in the area to visit ill family member

Nothing that was a real problem. Think car parking fee - £5 per night- should be absorbed in room rates. Wine prices were high but guess that’s an issue wherever you stay!

The staff were very helpful, friendly but professional. The bathroom facilities, in the room, were of a high standard, clean and new The meals were all of a high standard too. The breakfast buffet was very good and always being restocked. The lunch and dinner menus had a good selection of meals to choose from over our 5 day stay. The pool was also a clean and usable facility. The rooms were very sound proof. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces.

The bedrooms needed some updating. However we are now aware there is a planned refurbishment programme from next week.

Good modernised facilities, excellent shower but what stood out above everything was the delightful, well trained staff, especially in the dining room, well done. Also deserving special mention is the outstanding Liv on reception. She has patience beyond measure, remains calm and totally professional under pressure (I watched her while I was sitting in reception, dealing with an extremely tricky customer) whilst remaining attentive and understanding. She gave an exemplary demonstration of good customer service. A great ambassador for the hotel.

Communication by phone with the hotel was a nightmare. Calling the hotel via the group Hilton number just to change the time of a dinner booking took three attempts before getting through. Room for a great deal of improvement. Face to face at reception was no problem (thanks to Liv).

Good location for getting to scenic locations in cotswolds. Was nice to have the pool and close to local shops and the hotel was able to provide rooms next to each other as requested. The rooms were large & clean with comfortable beds

Changing rooms in spa require cleaning. Lots of hair on the floor both early morning and evening. They should advise of kids swimming times on the website as we only found this out upon check in (the only reason we booked a hotel with swimming pool was for the kids and we only had 20mins in the evening) Would have been nice to have a family room to bring down costs. Food in the bar is not great, pizza was undercooked, and the sharing charcuterie board was overpriced and basic- it was a serving for 1 rather than a sharing board.

I was put in RM 102 , near the main road and heard the road works every night . I drove back to hotel one night and the road was closed so had to leave my car and walk to the hotel .room next door to me was getting refurbished and they started work at 7.30/08.00, so having been awake with the road works , I also had the work going on next room, needless to say I got little sleep. I could have been put in a room away from the road and mouse next door . As a guest you shouldn’t be charging for the car park . I was also charged for a lock to the ladies locker room . Not impressed .

Generally a nice hotel, really lovely outdoor space, restaurant and bar. It's in a good location and easy to get around from. Plenty of parking - we had an email to say it's £5 a day but weren't charged as hotel guests. Good sized spa area with long opening hours. Got a warm, welcome cookie on arrival. Room was large and comfortable. Was cleaned well and tea station was well stocked.

Some areas of the hotel needed refurbishing - like the bathroom in our room and the steam room. We booked dinner in the hotel restaurant on the Friday night, but there was a leaver's ball in the hotel at the same time. They didn't have enough staff (only two trying to manage dinner for the hotel guests) and had sold out of a few dishes on the menu (which isn't huge anyway).

Very nice, large twin room for my Mother and I. Quiet and relaxing sleep with excellent blackout curtains. Pretty views from the bar area and swimming pool. Had a lovely swim evening and before breakfast using the steam room aswell. Helpful reception and bar staff. Lots of choice in food for a late lunch and a light supper. So many TV channels! (as we have limited choice in our house.) An excellent breakfast, far exceeding the details I got online beforehand. Everything you could wish for. And then a beautiful reception given given in memory of a dear friend, with access into the garden. Thank you.

Only small things, like there were cracked mugs amongst the crockery. The room information didn't mention the check out time.
