We recently stayed for a birthday weekend. The hotel is lovely and the views from the terrace area are beautiful! We enjoyed sitting here with a drink watching the sunset. Even with a large function taking place, there was no disruption that affected our stay which is very rare! All of the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was beautiful. My partner has a severe nut allergy and the staff were very helpful and informative with what he was able to eat. The bedroom was a good size. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and will happily stay again if in the area.

The only downfall would be the shower height was not adjustable, and as myself and my partner are both quite tall we didn’t quite fit underneath this which caused the bathroom to flood slightly, however this was minimal and didn’t put a dampener on our stay.

The room had a wonderful view of the Malvern Hills and the city of Gloucester in the Severn valley. Both breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality and a reasonable quantity. Location was good for several Cotswold places, houses and gardens.

The staff on both the check-in desk and bar, were very friendly and helpful. Bonus points for being able to lend me a phone charger plug. Beautiful views of the valley below whilst taking drinks on the decking.

I had a very early check out c. 5am. Meaning I was unable to obtain a receipt for my stay at the point of leaving. The link I was later sent by mail expired before I could download the information. As a business customer, this was a major inconvenience for my accounts team. Why they cannot simply email the invoice, rather than a link - seems pointless and silly to have a time limit to download this information.

Came with our puppy and 4 year old dog biscuit yesterday and just got back today, rooms beautiful, spacious bathroom including a wicket bath tub!! Comfy bed soundproof rooms and windows that can actually be open, beautiful grounds and views just an amazing,magical place to go to, gardens to explore with apple trees and decking areas.

Room was small would of prefered to of been put in the big ones as 2 dogs and 2 humans but we asked before we left and they were taken.

The staff were lovely and the bed was big and comfy. The main bedroom felt luxurious. Te staff throughout the hotel at every encounter were very friendly and accommodating. The dessert at dinner was amazing.

The bathroom wasn't as thought through in the room I was in with no extractor or opening window (except a trickle vent). It wasn't the most peaceful room as I was facing the front. I had high expectations for dinner due to the AA stars and the price. Unfortunately I felt the curry was a bit under-seasoned. The souffle was cold in the middle. I finished it and just let them know at the end.

Room 49 has insufficient accessible power sockets. A kettle on desk but the only accessible socket was on floor by bathroom!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and attractive and the bed extremely comfortable. The food was good too, both for dinner and breakfast. Views from the hotel are splendid though sadly the weather was not too bright: there must be some wonderful sunsets looking west from the dining room.

I would have welcomed some instructions about how to use the shower! My husband has Parkinson's so was afraid to use it altogether as there was nothing to hold on to to help him get in. A walk-in shower would have been easier. There is no lift either, which would have been a help, but during this trip we discovered that hotels in listed buildings are often not permitted to install lifts.

We were away for my husbands birthday. I'd prearranged a bottle of prosecco upon arrival as a birthday treat but the staff at Hatton Court went further and signed a card and provided a complimentary drinks voucher to use in their bar (nice touch!). Our needs were catered for, the accommodation is well presented and nothing seemed too much for staff. The evening meal and breakfast in the Tara Restaurant was out of this world, delicious and again the staff did not disappoint with the high quality service. We will definitely visit again!

I think if I were to share some constructive criticism, it would just be down to some aesthetics. The bathroom was pretty tired. However, it was well stocked, and I certainly wasn't expecting to be provided with a jacuzzi style bath, which for us having comprimised on a spa to book here was the real cherry on top!

The peacefulness and the beauty of the building and rooms. All staff members we spoke with were extremely professional and helpful in everything they did for us. Everything was also explained to us very well on our arrival. Lots of parking available and beauty outside seating area. The lounge area by the bar was so relaxing

The shower in our room over flowed very quickly meaning we had to have very very quick showers. There was also a horrific smell lingering in the hotel the next morning from the drains being pumped right outside the door

The hotel was beautiful it had a welcoming bar and log fire and the staff were incredible nothing was too much trouble. The room had a fabulous large bath and was comfortable warm with in room facilities. The restaurant was stunning and I had not expected the standard of an upmarket restaurant as seldom get this in a hotel. The service was prompt and the food exceptional Will definitely come back

Nothing
