Liked everything, from the greeting from the host when we arrived, shown to our room which was lovely, being at the back away from the traffic and the all day sun, the bed was huge, and very comfortable, clean and made up every morning, tea & coffee facilities were good. The breakfast room was quite big, so well spaced out, with a really nice selection of fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts and fruit juice. The cooked breakfast was very nice, cooked very well, lovely toast, Full English recommended , wife had scrambled egg with salmon on toast one morning and said it was beautifully cooked.
Nothing we didn't like, it was all to our liking.

The bedroom was sumptuous with a décor consistent through bed linen, furniture, curtains and wall coverings. A huge size, it included a sofa, a large bed and a modern bathroom. The bed was firm but comfortable. Views to front and back included traditional buildings and (as requested) Tewkesbury Abbey. Joan was very attentive and dealt promptly with an electricity break. Internet coverage was good (in an old building). Breakfast was delicious, served once again in a room with exceptional décor. The hotel is well-situated (with a great Italian restaurant two doors away) but this means close to the traffic, the sound of which was a little intrusive on a hot June evening.
The car parking arrangements, whilst most welcome, involved shuffling into a block of other guests' cars behind the hotel. We were fortunate to be late arrivers and early departers so we could leave without disturbing others but this could have been harder in other circumstances.

The location, very central. Parking was easy ,we were early but Joan let us park on site no problem. The house and our room was very clean, lots of attention to detail. Lovely decoration in the room, extras like tea coffee ,vanity products too. Nice fluffy towels, beautiful bedding, Quiet for sleeping as we were at the side,if you are at the front it may be noisy. The breakfast was made fresh, lots of gluten free choice, really nice bread. My husband had a full English, it was delicious.
This cannot be changed, but the bathroom is very small, you had to get dried in the bedroom. Entry time is 4pm,I think 3 pm would be reasonable as we had been travelling a long way.

Jessop house is just what you expect from a town like Tewksbury, with lots of history and old fashioned features, however the owners have worked very hard to create a modern and high quality decor and comfort, without losing its features. Everything you need for a cosy stay is provided and the breakfast was amazing and so well prepared and cooked. It’s a lovely location being opposite the Abbey away from the busy and louder area of the town centre, convenient parking in the rear courtyard made the stay even nicer.
Everything was excellent, nothing to dislike.

Joan, our host, was friendly and welcoming and the house is beautifully kept. Our room was very clean and spacious and the good quality bed linen was crisp and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with a freshly cooked hot choice cooked to order, which was delicious. We arrived earlier than check-in time and Joan kindly let us park up at the hotel. The house itself has a great history and is just opposite the Abbey too. It’s also located within very easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

We liked everything, especially our host Joan who was very friendly, happy, and helpful. Breakfast was first class, cooked by Joan, rooms were beautifully appointed, beds very comfortable. Position is few steps from either the shops, the water, or pubs and restaurants. Across the road to the beautiful Tewkesbury Abbey. Don't miss eating at Salerno Italian restaurant two steps away from the accommodation. Private parking in the back yard of the property is accessed by a laneway. The weekend we were there (1 night only and we wished we had longer) was the Big Weekend and it was very crowded on the Saturday, the activity centred around the water. On the Sunday it was more relaxed. We really enjoyed both days. Thanks Joan for a wonderful stay.
Absolutely nothing.

Joan, our host, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The breakfast was superb, and the room was both comfortable and spacious, featuring a four-poster bed. The location was perfect, with excellent restaurants nearby. The beautiful Abbey and local pubs were just fifty yards away, and there was a lovely canal walk right behind the property.
Parking wasn’t ideal. There’s a small area that fits up to five cars, but maneuvering in and out is tricky. On the bright side, there’s plenty of parking available for £4.00/day just eighty yards away

Beautiful rooms so well decorated comfy beds and facilities were very good. Owner was so friendly and welcoming a lovely lady who has done all the renovation herself, amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Very good breakfast and accomodating timing. The photo's do not do the bedrooms justice, they are even better when visiting. It's in a great position the Abbey was across the road. Near all sights, we went to a show at Roses Theatre one eve. All sites in walking distance. We had a great meal at Mezbaan a few doors away. Lovely to have some really Indian choices, not just the normal Asian choices.
Nothing.😁

Room was large and beautifully decorated, immaculately clean comfy bed, sitting area with large comfy settee. Breakfast is served in a bright and spacious dining area and was freshly prepared with a good selection. Parking is easy with option to park behind property if theres space, or across the road on the Abbey carpark which isn’t a problem. Location is good with plenty of restaurants nearby(Indian, Chinese, Italian, English) Joan, the host does a fantastic job of running hotel, her hard work and commitment in ensuring all her guests have a pleasant stay as well as keeping the property in pristine condition whilst always keeping a smile, she is such a lovely and hardworking person . This property sets the bench mark how B&B”s should be, we will being staying again.

We had a lovely room with a view of the abbey. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. There was a comfortable sofa and two footstools. Excellent breakfast and helpful hostess Several good restaurants almost next door
The car park is tucked away off a side street and is somewhat cramped, but it wasn't really a problem for us.
