It was a peaceful and very relaxing stay! The bed is like sleeping on clouds and the hosts were so friendly. Everything was thought of and we particularly liked the extra little touches like the tea and coffee and the heated blanket on the bed. I’ve booked again for next year and will no doubt be a regular visitor!

Suzi and Paul were superb hosts - interesting and knowledgeable about the local area and their beautiful home, available when you wanted them and yet leaving us to ourselves when needed. The garden is blissful to relax or contemplate in, the bed comfortable, the shower hot and the breakfast spot on. A wonderful stay that could not have been bettered in any way!

Fabulous B & B. Staying in a home that dates back over 200 years with a soul was wonderful, the Room and Bathroom are excellent , Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and plum Jam, the location is great - very close to Tewksbury town centre. Suzi and Paul are lovely some of the best hosts we have stayed with. To top it off, the garden with the lake are very relaxing Would definitely recommend and we will be back

Breakfast wax exceptional and cooked to perfection. Filter coffee was a nice treat. The two floofy employees were a bonus. The property was stunning and the owners were more than friendly and helpful.

We stayed with Paulo and Suzi almost two years ago - and it was just wonderful to catch up with them again; it really was like staying with old friends. From the warmth of the reception, to the cleanliness of the rooms; the fabulous breakfast, the gorgeous garden and surroundings, we couldn't have felt more welcome or more looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. We can hardly wait until we get the opportunity to return! Martin & Paula

Suzi and Paulo were very welcoming and their home as a B&B was beautiful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and Suzi even makes her own bread. I would recommend for peaceful get away!

Fantastic , we couldn't find one negative about The Monkspool. Room spotless and comfortable, breakfast lots of choice and cooked fresh, Suzi&Paulo so warm and welcoming from the second we got there. Beautiful surroundings with its own lake with ducks and fish. Easily one of the best B & B's we've ever stayed in, can't wait to go back.

We loved everything about this property! Suzi and Paulo (and Lola the dog) were super friendly and gave us a great tour, the building itself was beautifully decorated, and the grounds well kept, the rooms and facilities clean and warm (but you can turn your radiator off or open a window if you like it a little cooler). It had great character and felt almost magical - it’s clear that a lot of thought, care and effort have gone into making this a perfect B&B. The food was tasty and fresh. Overall we had an amazing time and it was an absolute pleasure to stay her. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful house and such wonderful welcoming hosts, the room was immaculate and the breakfast super tasty, I would recommend monkspool as an above average b&b. It is a peaceful and relaxing home.

It was set in beautiful location. The house was at the end of the road so very quiet with no traffic. The owners were very friendly and made my wife and I feel very welcome. There was a small lake at the back of the house and we sat on a bench by the lakeside and watched the sunset.

We had a few problems finding the house. The address was perfectly correct but a small hand drawn map would have been handy. It had been a long drive for us so we were a bit tired and we got a bit lost. We were actually very close, just needed that bit of extra help. The owners were very helpful on the mobile and we found the house.
