The room itself was lovely - and such a comfortable bed as well. We had dinner and drinks here - the Malva Pudding (South African by nature) was so different and delicious... A great atmosphere :)

Maybe pop a more visible bin for people to use in the lower grassed area - it was a shame to see that people had just left their empty bottle of wine and glasses, along with a polystyrene container on one of the tables there when we walked down in the morning to look at the river. Maybe they didn't spot the bin by the gate as it was very close the the hedge? (Maybe they were just plain thoughtless too!)

We were a group of four chaps en route to the Morgan Motor factory. We are all seasoned travellers and found the Angel hard to fault, with well furnished and decorated rooms, a wonderful ambience in the public areas, excellent food and drink and very welcoming and efficient service. (Special mention for Emily who served us in the bar and later at dinner and breakfast). We all appreciate real ale and the choice of HPA, Landlord and Boltmaker on draft catered to all our tastes. I made the block booking of four doubles for single accommodation and received a room upgrade to a junior suite. Pershore is a very attractive and seemingly prosperous small town with numerous pubs, bars and restaurants, and an historic former Benedictine Abbey. It made a great stopover and would be worth visiting in its own right. I’m now looking for an excuse to return to the Angel with my wife.

Not much to mention. Two of us had no hot water in the morning, this was a temporary problem with a separate system serving rooms across the entrance passage. More powerful showers would have been appreciated by the others. There is a very steep brick speed hump in the narrow coachyard entrance, we were all in low-slung cars and had to take things very carefully going over it. None of this detracted from an enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location. Staff were lovely and very helpful couldn’t have asked for any better, was shown to our room, was offered help with luggage nothing was too much for them. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the food smelt amazing.

Our room was above the side entrance and smoking shelter. It was very loud when people were outside due to the single glazing but with it being an old property I understand that this can’t be helped and not the hotels fault or the guests they were only enjoying themselves I was just being boring as I’d had a long drive and had been working all day. That being said there was no noise after 10pm

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful especially Ros. The food was delicious and great quality. Rooms very clean and cosy. The fact there was parking behind the hotel.

We were on dinner bread and breakfast which was OK but there were quite a few additional extras for example orange juice in the morning and any coffee other than filter coffee was extra. There was no cereal, juice, fruit to help yourself to at breakfast.

The staff at the Angel Hotel were very accomodating, very helpful and gave good service that met all of our needs. The room was clean, the facilities were also very good.

Just one small complaint; namely at breakfast we had tea and filter coffee and asked for additional "top ups". I was surprised when paying the bill, that these had all been individually itemised. I just presumed that extra teas and coffees would be part of the breakfast overall cost.

Dinner was very good; we were very happy with our choices. (Dinner was included in our room package) Good choice at breakfast. the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup were yummy! Out room had been recently refurbished and (other than the questionable choice of upholstery fabric for the armchairs) was spacious and well-appointed.

Mirror over the dressing table positioned far too high. When seated on the stool only top of head visible!

Exceptionally clean and well kept rooms, especially considering the age of the building. Brilliant selection of teas and complimentary cookies was a lovely touch. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive. I would recommend the restaurant also, food was great!

The curtains would benefit from being black out as they let a lot if ambient light in.

Ideal location for our visit. Plenty of parking—-exceptionally friendly and efficient staff and an excellent dinner. Menu was not extensive, nothing out of the ordinary except the quality of the food, I would return for that alone.

If you search hard enough you could always find something even in the best of places. But the Angel had to be one of the best value stays my wife and I have had.

Excellent location right in the centre of Pershore. Lovely character building with exposed beams, open fireplaces and lots of quirky pictures. On-site parking always a bonus. Room was pleasant, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was superb with lots of good choices - do recommend the Full English. We ate at the accommodation on three nights and on each occasion the service and food couldn't have been better. Experienced an issue with our bathroom but as soon as problem mentioned it was sorted so service couldn't have been better. Overall very much enjoyed our stay with excellent hospitality provided

Size of shower room was ideal but water pressure not brilliant.

We have stayed at the Angel several times whilst visiting relatives in Pershore, it is our 'go to hotel'. The staff are exceptional and the food, especially the breakfast, is delicious. There was a problem with our room on arrival, but within 10 minutes the reception staff had re-allocated us to a larger room at no extra cost. We will be back!
