Beautifully presented building and grounds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Due to being far away from other food premises, we found that evening meal prices although on the high side, was worth it as the food nicely cooked and presented. We had afternoon tea too which was really nice. Room was beautiful, overlooking front lawn and massive. Best bed we’ve slept in for a long time. If you like cats, you’ll love the hotel cat…Zeus!

Breakfast included, but a little underwhelming if I’m honest. It’s quite remote so better for couples or those happy to stay in one spot. No spa, or pool, and shame there aren’t more facilities on site. Not much negative to say about the hotel.

The room was comfortable and relatively clean, but lots of cobwebs and dust in the room. There was a chandelier above the bed that had lots of cobwebs hanging from it. A couple of tiny spiders on the ceiling, some cobwebs here and there. Just a general feeling of needing a more thorough clean. Bed very comfortable, pillows a bit hard, bathroom very clean. Another spider dangled on its web in front of me while I was eating breakfast, but we swatted it away. Restaurant has lovely views over the grounds and countryside, we were lucky enough to get a window seat for breakfast.

My room was very spacious, with a fabulous view of the garden and valley below. There is ample parking, and it is complimentary. They have a beautiful dining room with a small breakfast buffet, that also includes options for a hot breakfast. The center of Evesham is just a short 5 minute drive away, and has a large Tesco market that sells just about anything you might need. It was an easy drive to Stratford-upon-Avon and many Cotswold villages.

Extra drawer space for clothing would have been convenient.

The Wood Norton is a lovely hotel, one of those rare, special places to stay. Booked around 2 weeks in advance and after reading many reviews put a request in to have a room in the main building rather than the Annex - which was confirmed in a message that they would accommodate the request. On check-in we were allocated a room in the Annex, I reminded the receptionist of the message and she kindly assigned us room 204 on the 2nd floor (there is a modern lift). The room was fabulous and appreciated. A lovely comfy bed, cotton bed linen, air con that kept the room at an optimal temp, a great bathroom with a powerful shower - all perfect. Was a beautiful day, we got a couple of drinks and sat out on a garden lounger on the back lawn and enjoyed the sunshine where was encountered the hotel cat, a beautiful Maine Coon called 'Zeus' who like most cats chooses his company carefully. Breakfast the following day was superb though there was evidently a shortage of staff and it looked like they were preparing for a grand wedding reception.

Had a rather 'off-hand' encounter with a lady working in the bar, my partner felt quite uncomfortable and hurt, nothing was said but the whole demeanour and delivery was rather rude.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing Valentine's night at the beautiful Wood Norton Hotel. Thought we'd booked a very decent room but upon entering, found we'd been upgraded to a most exceptional suite complete with wood panelling (even on the ceiling), that gave the feeling of luxury! The bed was stunningly presented and made us feel like King and Queen and the bathroom (which is bigger than our living rooms) was marked by a roll top bath which we were sure to make use of. Even the shower was amazing and hard to pull ourselves out of. Everything was perfect. We wined and dined in the hotel restaurant where the food and drink were both exquisite. Bless my amazing boyfriend who'd unbeknownst to me, visited the hotel earlier in the day to deliver a bouquet of red Roses, to be placed on our table at our evening meal as a surprise. Needless to say, I was taken with emotion and so thankful for the whole experience. All of the staff were wonderful and accommodating and are a credit to the hotel. Thank you to all that made our stay a perfect one and of course, to the man in my life too! In short, don't hesitate to book this place!

Beautiful building and interior, all tastefully decorated for Christmas. Warm professional welcome. Lovely ground floor room as requested, quiet, warm, roomy, and well fitted out. Cans of water were perfect. Beds amazing, and the little lounge by 309 was lovely, with coffee too! Again, decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was delicious, both the continental and the cooked, all the seeds and fruits were excellent. GF well catered for too. My only negative, is not enough disabled parking, and spaces are too narrow. Struggled a bit. Zeus is a cuddly bonus!

Beautiful hotel with grounds to match ... but could have done with some upkeep as it was a little untidy.

I appreciate that the staff were busy but it reminded me a little bit of "faulty towers". We had breakfast outside and ordered Tea & Coffee, the milk was spilt over the table and not cleaned up and the coffee never arrived. No fridge in the room which is really unusual for a 4 start hotel costing nearly £270 per night, so we were unable to have access to cold drinks witgout going to the bar,.

The hotel was very likeable and we stayed in one of the annexes. The room was large and well proportioned. The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast. Staff were very friendly and were helpful. Really lovely venue.

With the bedside lamps we assumed that there were three pin plug points for my CPAP machine. They turned out to not be three pin sockets and I had to trek out to the car park to bring in my extension cable, that I nearly fell over going to the toilet in the night, and got drenched in the pouring rain doing so!! Minor gripes at breakfast. No granulated sugar for the cornflakes and we were not offered toast.

Beautiful setting. House keeping was really good. Birmingham lady, Supervisor/ manager was fantastic. Breakfasts superb!

Breakfast supervisor rude and then spent 20 minutes telling the manager how p***ed off she was. Lots of staff moaning about each other! Breakfast vegetarian amazing. Dinner vegetarian options were awful!

The hotel building is beautiful and peaceful keeping all the period features this is a stunning building and the grounds are so well kept, wander through the gardens with lots of places to sit and relax and admire the views Staff are extremely attentive and well mannered noting is too much trouble, they are polite and smart. Food was excellent, evening meal was everything and more service was perfect. Breakfast was lovely and again served with a warm welcome Can’t fault our room it was beautiful and perfectly clean, large bathroom and lovely views Snooker room with a little bonus Although the hotel was full, there were lots of places to sit and relax. Very peaceful stay Will definitely visit again
