Beautiful beamed cottage, thank you Sue for welcoming us into your lovely home and making sure we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were comfy, breakfast was fabulous, the fresh fruit salad was a lovely treat! Location great, three pubs serving food (two by the riverside)plus indian restaurant all within couple of minutes walk. Parking is free on the road outside. We will definitely come back to do some walking in the area.

Absolutely perfect - 2 night stay to attend an event - I can’t fault anything - felt like I was staying with friends from the minute I walked in - a friendly fantastic cottage environment -location perfect for the riverside pub and restaurant - a place I would recommend to any of my friends - lovely .. Lovely old building and very kind hostess who gave us a fan and iced water as it was very hot weather.She very kindly carried our cases up and down stairs as well.

The only problem was the hot weather but that wasn’t the fault of the property!!!!

the owner was very friendly and very helpful with advice about points of interest and listening to our stories of our travels. the breakfast was excellent, with a range of choices. the leek sausage was unavailable and the owner soursed some and made me a leek sausage for breakfast the following day. over all the best stay of our trip

The cottage was easy to find and in a great location. Our room was clean and Sue was lovely and welcoming. There was lots of choice for breakfast and was freshly cooked. Loved our stay and hope to go back again.

Sue and Glynn made us feel very welcome after a few traumatic weeks for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, lovely selection of fresh fruits each day. Homemade jams too. Comfy, airey quiet room. Would recommend the Bridge to eat an evening meal. Well placed to visit the surrounding area.
