We stayed here after attending a wedding at Bordesley Park, so the location was ideal. We stayed in the Royal Suite, which was a lovely room, and felt as though we'd been upgraded. With how hot it's been, it was such a relief to find that the windows were open and the room had a fan, as well as chilled bottles of water in the fridge. At breakfast, we were able to combine a couple of tables as we met with other wedding guests, and it didn't feel like we were too much trouble.

The only downside of our stay was long wait times during breakfast for warm items such as eggs or bacon, as it meant getting a plate of everything you wanted at the same proved a little challenging. It would also be nice to see a vegetarian/ vegan option as something that is available, even if it is cooked to order (if this is something that is available, I did not notice any signs advising this).

Standard Rooms characterless & boring. Having TV on Desk in front of mirror as it couldn't be used it would be better removed. light nr mirror not working ( but couldn't have used it anyway.) Breakfast day1 ( Buffet style) was luke warm at best, day2 served at table much better. Evening dinner very tasty, nicely presented & served, The pork Belly was my favourite. paying for extras seemed petty, especially items that i would have expected to be part of a main meal Some items unavailable ie Raspberries from desert. On the whole I was very pleased with evening meal

We booked a family room with a half board option which we thought was great value. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival. Room was very comfortable and clean with good lighting. The dinner included two courses and the menu had a lovely choice, food superb and the service was quick and efficient. Breakfast also had a good choice. Parking was easy and free of charge and hotel is situated in a good location. We also used the pool and sauna which was impressively clean. We would definitely stay here again! The following day we also attended a family function in the Westminster Room, the food and drinks which were included were superb. We can also recommend these packages too.

I have booked standard double room and was pleasantly suprised to have superking size bed in very nice and big room. Evertything was fine, breakfest standard choices of buffet, which we enjoyed. My parnter used gym, which he found very good size for hotel and well equipped. The spa looked great, altrought we didn't have tume to visit. The view from room is on the greenery and gold course. Overall we were very happy with out very short stay, Would definetly returned and perhaps stay longer to enjoy terace and spa.

Only couple of things - slow drain in the bathtub, which they promissed to deal with . Breakfest restaurant has fabolous ultra modern coffe machine, which makes really nice varriety of coffies, only it's a bit slow , so there is constant cue of people and you can wait for the fab coffee long time. I'd suggest they purchase one more of these great machines, as it would make life easier while you haviing yoru breakfest.

Hotel was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Two of my fellow guests don’t drink anything but water. Most places are rude if you ask for tap water in bar or restaurant. Here they never had issue and allowed us as much jugs/bottled tap water even asking if we wanted ice cubes with it. My room key didn’t work to begin with and they sincerely apologised immediately and issued new keycard. It’s a hotel I’ve stayed at numerous times since 2014 and they never disappoint.

Would be nice if they could offer a lunchtime menu ie sandwiches other than afternoon option. We went half board but only options for lunch was burger and fries, salads or sides. Nothing snack like other than fries or side salad.

Staff were really nice, reception and bar area very nice and tastefully decorated. Loverly big room. Played a few holes of golf the following morning. Nice course but very wet due to the amount of rain they have been having. Great value for an overnight stay!

Rooms starting to look worn and raggered which let the hotel down. The usual marked walls, bath seals peeling away and furniture that has had more knocks than my front door at home. Tv didn't work either but then l wasn't too bothered!

Beautiful setting with the golf course at the back. Staff were really friendly. The room and beds were comfortable. Although we didn't have chance to make use of them, the spa and pool were available to us, and they looked lovely. Was sorry not to be able to avail myself. Dinner was tasty. Really good value. Great breakfast. Blue light in bathroom was a good thought for people who need the loo at night. Handle into bath helpful for those who need it too. And the heated bathroom mirror that cleared the steam quickly is lovely bit of attention to detail.

It's a conference centre as well as golf course, so lots of people gathered. This isn't a problem except that the set up isn't quite right. We had to walk through a busy bar to get to the restaurant area (warning for those who struggle with noise and crowded spaces), and with the doors open it did feel quite like a noisy and uncared for space. That said, the same space at breakfast was completely different, especially with the views to the outside. But on a dark night with curtains open and a loud bar, it might be worth a thought on how this could be improved. Not sure if there's any bedrooms with walk in showers suitable for people who can't climb into a bath. Square toilet, round toilet seat. Didn't fit.

Child and dog friendly . Rooms were soacious - unfortunately the TV did not work but not too important. All staff were friendly but special mention to Charlotte in the restaurant who was friendly and patient with our 2 young grandchildren. We had two dogs with us and they were made welcome. There were spaces to walk them and they were able to join us in all areas apart from the restaurant. We were a group of 6 adults - 2 infants and 2 dogs celebrating my special birthday and it was a perfect venue. We had half board and the breakfast and 3 course included meal were delicious. My room was decorated with banner and balloons and a birthday brownie at our meal. We used the pool etc which was warm and clean - very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go again .

Seeing used bedding and towels stacked on the carpet flooring in the halls and rooms!! Use blue bags for goodness sakes! Poor food in the restaurant....my roasted half whole chicken was very anemic looking, lacked flavour and was not tender. I cancelled my next days bookings. Pool needed cleaning maybe more regularly, sand/black pieces on the bottom. Generally lacked a good welcome and staff looked unhappy. And being busy is a poor excuse for poor lacking in care service.

Breakfast was excellent although we had to upgrade to have it! The double rooms were each £120 + £11.95 breakfast. Staff were lovely and very efficient- booked our taxis. Spa staff were helpful. but our locker didn’t work and they weren’t surprised! I had to ask for help three times!

Our room 149 was better but our bed base looked really tired and chipped. I splashed out on our half term break for 1 night of luxury which I felt my price tag covered only to feel very disappointed. (£289 for 2 double rooms and breakfast for 4 for 1 night ) we enjoyed the spa however!
