Very clean great location staff were super friendly on reception very warm chatty and helpful! Food was amazing really tasty portion size could be bigger and was a bit pricey but most hotels are, good selection of beer and wine also! Health suite was brilliant very good temperatures in the steam room and sauna nice clean pool and the gym was basic but had everything required for a workout! Penthouse suite is a bit dated but was very clean comfortable awesome views bed was very comfortable massive bathroom and loved the mood lighting too great facilities with the coffee machine plus instant coffee and selection of biscuits, ps3 built in which I was gutted as I would have brought some retro games lol

The room was big, comfortable, clean and big bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. The water pressure was perfect, clean towels everyday so were the bedsheets and pillows. Staff was lovely and the place was quite beautiful, good location, quiet, elegant, having daily access to spa and facilities even though we didn't get to use them. Good drinks, excellent service, amazing custard apple pie and steak.

Menu was quite poor, at breakfast the staff not very keen to accommodate an easy diet request , but other than that i would say everything was good and would definitely go back again.

-It’s got some amazing views especially from there terrace bar overlooking the golf course. -The rooms are a great size -We always enjoy the pool facilities.

-Cleanliness of the room need improving there were damp patches in the room where it was like the carpet had just been soaked. There was also an unwanted surprise in our toilet upon arrival not sure whether it just hadn’t been flushed sufficiently. -One other slight bug bear was i went to the downstairs bar waited around 15 mins and no one was working on the bar there. So i went up to the terrace bar to be told that was closing at half 5.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Abbey hotel . We had a spacious family room with very comfortable beds and a nice bath / shower. There are 2 bars including a terrace bar with lovely views and a lounge bar. Also a restaurant. The pool and leisure facilities are very good as well. There's a small putting green ( which kept my son happy. ) and obviously the golf course and range , which we didn't use. The staff were friendly and helpful and very professional. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea.

The food in the restaurant could do with improving it was fairly basic pub fare . When I tried to contact the leisure department about booking a treatment for my wife and a time for the afternoon tea the phone was constantly engaged.

This was a spontaneous short break for us, the main reason we chose this was for the pool which was nice however children can only swim for restricted slot (understandable but not great for us). We did enjoy the time we had in there though. Views are beautiful, the terrace is lovely and tranquil. Staff are kind and attentive. Golf course is huge (we don’t play but went for a walk in the evening) and it was fab. Good value for money considering we got breakfast, parking and leisure included and booked on the day. Pleasant stay overall

Our bathroom could have been cleaner, the bed was not comfortable and restricted hours in the pool for kids wasn’t great (but understandable and the steam room wasn’t working). Food was good quality but my mains lacked flavour, desserts were yum.

We stayed here after attending a wedding at Bordesley Park, so the location was ideal. We stayed in the Royal Suite, which was a lovely room, and felt as though we'd been upgraded. With how hot it's been, it was such a relief to find that the windows were open and the room had a fan, as well as chilled bottles of water in the fridge. At breakfast, we were able to combine a couple of tables as we met with other wedding guests, and it didn't feel like we were too much trouble.

The only downside of our stay was long wait times during breakfast for warm items such as eggs or bacon, as it meant getting a plate of everything you wanted at the same proved a little challenging. It would also be nice to see a vegetarian/ vegan option as something that is available, even if it is cooked to order (if this is something that is available, I did not notice any signs advising this).

Surrounding Area, peacefull location, style of Hotel, good facilities, plenty of parking, choice of mealtimes, quality of food, hot Showers, cleanliness, choice of beverages, value for money. We visited twice 10/11 years ago, rooms much bedrooms much nicer then

Standard Rooms characterless & boring. Having TV on Desk in front of mirror as it couldn't be used it would be better removed. light nr mirror not working ( but couldn't have used it anyway.) Breakfast day1 ( Buffet style) was luke warm at best, day2 served at table much better. Evening dinner very tasty, nicely presented & served, The pork Belly was my favourite. paying for extras seemed petty, especially items that i would have expected to be part of a main meal Some items unavailable ie Raspberries from desert. On the whole I was very pleased with evening meal

We booked a family room with a half board option which we thought was great value. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival. Room was very comfortable and clean with good lighting. The dinner included two courses and the menu had a lovely choice, food superb and the service was quick and efficient. Breakfast also had a good choice. Parking was easy and free of charge and hotel is situated in a good location. We also used the pool and sauna which was impressively clean. We would definitely stay here again! The following day we also attended a family function in the Westminster Room, the food and drinks which were included were superb. We can also recommend these packages too.

well catered for. My dog was looked after which was great. Nice areas to relax. food was very good and rooms were very spacious. we are recommending this to friends who also have dogs and expect to be back once the golf course is back to a full 19 holes

the golf course was a little patchy to say the least and due to works on the back 9 we had to play it twice ( with dfferent tee placements). Hopefully they will then do the same again with the other nine and then have 18 very good condition holes where i expect to be back in 2027

I have booked standard double room and was pleasantly suprised to have superking size bed in very nice and big room. Evertything was fine, breakfest standard choices of buffet, which we enjoyed. My parnter used gym, which he found very good size for hotel and well equipped. The spa looked great, altrought we didn't have tume to visit. The view from room is on the greenery and gold course. Overall we were very happy with out very short stay, Would definetly returned and perhaps stay longer to enjoy terace and spa.

Only couple of things - slow drain in the bathtub, which they promissed to deal with . Breakfest restaurant has fabolous ultra modern coffe machine, which makes really nice varriety of coffies, only it's a bit slow , so there is constant cue of people and you can wait for the fab coffee long time. I'd suggest they purchase one more of these great machines, as it would make life easier while you haviing yoru breakfest.
