The location is good, staff friendly and maintenance lounge, dining room and bar areas nicely decorated

The bed was far too soft, the pain in the ceiling was peeling off. The leisure facilities - sauna not working door off. Hot tub had tiles missing and was dangerous along with uncomfortable to sit. Needs more than just 2 seats around pool The main disappointment was the leisure facility, which was the main reason for booking this holiday inn and not a holiday inn Express which is not too far away and includes breakfast

Large car park, welcoming reception, excellent lounge/ bar. Just lovely. Room was on the first floor. Comfy sofa bed, great range of free snacks - cans of pop, crisps, chocolate. Netflix etc on TV. Super clean, seemed brand new fittings, gorgeous toiletries. We stay regularly in Bromsgrove Premier Inn and only opted for the Holiday Inn because it was dog friendly which we needed this weekend. This will now be our regular hotel. Perfect for our needs - family/ dog friendly.

The outside of the building needs some serious TLC - window frames etc. It’s falling apart and gives a bad impression. Hotel corridors and doors really bashed. Parts of the hotel have definitely had a very hard life - was relieved when we saw the room was actually fab.

That despite paying for a dog, there were no additional provision for dog such as complimentary bowl in room, bed, treat pack or dog station. There were no poo bins available on grounds. Equally although fine with eating in bar area there were no seat and tables at usual height to eat from. Either having to sit at bar tables or longe in armchairs.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Birmingham Bromsgrove and absolutely loved my experience. The location was perfect—tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet within easy reach of my destination, making it ideal for a relaxing vacation. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, including the bathrooms, which were spotless and modern. It really added to the comfort of the stay. The morning breakfast was amazing, offering a great variety that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. It’s a wonderful family-friendly hotel, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for—a peaceful retreat with all the comforts, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The breakfast was amazing. I got to do a free yoga session with Ashley which was amazing. Staff all great. I love that all the facilities are available pool, sauna, classes, dinner, bed and breakfast.

The pool area is very run down. The sauna is tiny. This whole area is run down and grubby. Included dinner was a bit poor, no garnish on starters but cheap and cheerful I guess. I probably wouldn't bother with this. Breakfast certainly makes up for this. The bed was a bit small for 2 of us and a bit bouncy. Some parts of the hotel are lovely some not so.

Location was central to where we wanted to be. The staff were lovely, helpful and approachable. Breakfast choices were excellent. Clean comfortable room. Pleasant communal areas. Good food.

Requested a twin room on booking, but only a double was available. We were told that as a standard room was booked, we were given what was available. We only discovered this on arrival. My friend and I felt uncomfortable sharing a bed, so sleeping was difficult. However, the hotel was pleasant. Would stay again if the bed situation was what we wanted. The food was lovely, but expensive. They did have a deal that was value for money, but only if we had 3 courses, which was too much for us.

We dined there every day and found each meal to be exceptional. Having experienced both the Holiday Inn and Bromsgrove Hotel and Spa, we can confidently say that the Holiday Inn surpasses the latter, making it our top recommendation for families in search of both comfort and affordability.

The Holiday Inn in Bromsgrove suffers from a notable drawback in the form of its poorly maintained car park and entrance. Despite being spacious and free, the car park is riddled with large potholes, creating a hazardous environment that urgently requires resurfacing. Furthermore, inadequate outside lighting means that navigating the area at night is treacherous, as the potholes pose a significant risk of accidents and potential insurance claims. Additionally, the hotel's entrance lacks sufficient lighting, making it easy to miss, especially on dark nights. These issues are substantial and warrant immediate attention from IHG hotels. While the hotel's interior is commendable, urgent action is needed to address these external concerns.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and polite. The bar staff were also lovely and nothing was too much for them to the point one of them spent a while to find some crayons for my daughter to colour in. Lovely food too. Room was also very cosy not too big or small, and had everything we needed in.Also the swimming pool was a lovely extra and a major hit with my daughter. Checkout was at 11am which is a nice time unlike some other places which is earlier, also a major selling point. Will come again just for the experience thanks!

Appalling driveway around the hotel full of potholes, which badly needs attention. Somewhat disappointed with the lunch and evening menu, compared with last year at the Guildford Holiday Inn, especially the removal of the superfood salad bowl nd falafel wraps.

We received a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival, and there was ample parking available. We stayed here for the air show festival, and our room was clean and perfect for our needs. Dinner in the evenings was amazing, with comfortable seating, plenty of tables, and a great atmosphere all around. Breakfast was also spot on. The staff were always smiling and incredibly helpful; nothing was too much trouble for them. From the receptionists to the waiters and waitresses, everyone was kind and accommodating. The gym is well-equipped, and the pool is excellent. We will definitely be back! A big thank you to everyone
