Great location I don’t use the bar, restaurant and leisure facilities but these seemed very nice when I walked through. Clean room, comfy bed, large smart TV, good size room.

Lots of maintenance needed in the bedrooms-it didn’t hinder my stay but for a 4* you would expect better. Cracked window, shower heat knob kept falling off, broken air con which I was only made aware of after my booking thankfully it wasn’t a hot day, fridge was only cool at best. Like I said non of these hindered my stay and I got a good deal on the room. However if I were to have paid full price over £100 it would not have been good value for money. 3* at best.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting family when we are down from Scotland we stay twice a year and it’s fantastic it’s dog friendly always friendly staff that are happy to help

We were given a horrible room that we were not happy with it was down loads of stairs no view from the window and smelt of damp but we were able to change to a different room that we were happy to spend the 6 nights. This visit the room was not as clean as we would normally expect from this hotel but it was sorted after we spoke to reception. The dog charge is very high at £15 per night it’s should be capped at a price . As £90 is very high we have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the uk and not paid this much for our dog we understand that if you have a dog you pay for them but nearly a hundred pounds is very high . For members of your IHG loyalty program this should be cheaper or have your charge per night but if you are staying for a longer stay cap it at a price per stay .

The hotel was so modern, rooms were lovely, very clean, loved the snack and drinks that were in the room and mini fridge when we arrived! We had food in the bar on the evening and it was 10/10 plus the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had! The pool facilities was just right and the kids loved it just needs updating, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and were great with the kids too! I couldn’t believe we only paid £125 for a family of 4 for one night plus breakfast and the use of the pool facilities, didn’t expect it to be as nice and good as it was, I was more than pleased and would definitely come back!

The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. He had a calm and attentive manner and gave clear instructions. All restaurant staff were friendly and polite, and food was great value and came out quickly. Breakfast was well presented and had lots of choice, and the morning team was also very friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was spacious and clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge with water and chocolate and a well stocked choice for hot drinks with biscuits and crisps. The hotel was well presented and clean, and the staff outside doing maintenance were also friendly. There was lots of space and places to sit.

We used the pool for a short while, but the whole space could do with modernising as it looks a bit run down and grubby. (This would be hard as it is a selling point for the hotel) The jacuzzi wasn't in use.

The bed was far too soft, the pain in the ceiling was peeling off. The leisure facilities - sauna not working door off. Hot tub had tiles missing and was dangerous along with uncomfortable to sit. Needs more than just 2 seats around pool The main disappointment was the leisure facility, which was the main reason for booking this holiday inn and not a holiday inn Express which is not too far away and includes breakfast

Large car park, welcoming reception, excellent lounge/ bar. Just lovely. Room was on the first floor. Comfy sofa bed, great range of free snacks - cans of pop, crisps, chocolate. Netflix etc on TV. Super clean, seemed brand new fittings, gorgeous toiletries. We stay regularly in Bromsgrove Premier Inn and only opted for the Holiday Inn because it was dog friendly which we needed this weekend. This will now be our regular hotel. Perfect for our needs - family/ dog friendly.

The outside of the building needs some serious TLC - window frames etc. It’s falling apart and gives a bad impression. Hotel corridors and doors really bashed. Parts of the hotel have definitely had a very hard life - was relieved when we saw the room was actually fab.

The staff were all lovely and very helpful the breakfast was lovely loys of choice, it was clean l, the selection of drinks and snacks available in the room was great

There were a few things broken in our room and round hotel just little things like door handles toilet roll holders shower nobs etc our bathroom door had gaffer tape hiding a large crack in the door None of these things effected ua badly but if we had payed more we would probably have been a hut more annoyed. The pool area was a jit run down looking and the jacuzzi wasn't working.

Easy to find with plenty of parking. Staff were excellent and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good quality with a reasonable range. Gym was basic but functional.

Room was very cold on the ground floor. They has supplied a heater but still a chilly experience (especially when we arrived), despite it being August. Room was a average size for this price range range with adequate fittings. Pool was a bit disappointing; the jacuzzi was broken but there was also a child swimming class join us after a few minutes that we had not been warned about.

That despite paying for a dog, there were no additional provision for dog such as complimentary bowl in room, bed, treat pack or dog station. There were no poo bins available on grounds. Equally although fine with eating in bar area there were no seat and tables at usual height to eat from. Either having to sit at bar tables or longe in armchairs.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Birmingham Bromsgrove and absolutely loved my experience. The location was perfect—tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet within easy reach of my destination, making it ideal for a relaxing vacation. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, including the bathrooms, which were spotless and modern. It really added to the comfort of the stay. The morning breakfast was amazing, offering a great variety that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. It’s a wonderful family-friendly hotel, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for—a peaceful retreat with all the comforts, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
