Beautiful well maintained character building. Comfortable room with plentiful drinks, biscuits, toiletries. Lovely gardens and bar/lounge.

The only down side was the lack of a lift. A lot of steps to negotiate between reception and bedroom and no offer of help with luggage.

Lovely hotel, fantastic gardens to explore and terrace for drinks on the evening, staff brilliant very friendly and upgraded our room with no problem. Food good and all locally sourced. Staff also left happy birthday message and chocolate desert in our room for my boyfriend, a lovely touch. Great base for Cadbury world and Safari park, also not to far from Cotswolds. Countryside setting, but close enough to city if have car access. Would be happy to stay again.

Every night a different prom, celebration, or award ceremony creating noise - but that's to be expected this time of the year and staff upgraded our room away from the 'festivities' it also added atmosphere and good people watching, some wonderful outfits! So can't complain really. This place is a great venue.

An excellent breakfast was included in our price for two nights and was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The "Superior Double Room" was very spacious, with a desk, sitting area, ensuite bathroom with shower and the huge bed was extremely comfortable. The room was well appointed and water/tea/coffee/milk supplies renewed every day. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and polite. We ate in the bar area on both evenings and the food and service was excellent. The extensive grounds were safe to walk around in the evenings and parts went back to Doomsday Book Times - 1086. On both evenings Weddings were being celebrated in the separate Function rooms/building and were far enough away not to disturb us. Indeed on the Saturday night we were treated to an elaborate Fireworks display organised by the Wedding Party. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

food was good, well presented and served in comfortable dining setting. Accommodation, rooms very comfortable with as promised garden views. the hotel setting and grounds are well laid out and give a really restful air and yet staff are very attentive and pleasant.

I have no gripes, it lived up to my expectations and I will visit again. When working in sales and marketing roles I travelled extensively in the UK and Europe and did find one or two gems like this which I used whenever possible, Hogarths' also has several small and large meeting rooms for business or meals which I would recommend as being of superb ambient setting for business or social events.

I had a wonderful large, very comfortable I’m well equipped room (with a fantastic bed). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and I felt very comfortable staying there by myself. There were a couple of small issues which the hotel could not have dealt with better. On my first night a fuse blew and I was unable to charge anything. it was late and I popped down to the night duty manager who had everything working again within five minutes On my second night, I was joined by a couple of friends for dinner and I’d forgotten to book and asked for a table just after the kitchen had closed. But the chef immediately offered to stay and prepare our meals and we were not the slightest bit rushed. it really was fantastic service.l and the hotel grounds were lovely . After a long day of work strolling around there lovely gardens and wildlife meadow and then enjoying a glass of wine watching rabbits playing in the distance was perfect.

Beautiful setting and beautiful hotel . Huge bed and super comfy with extra pillows if needed . Room was immaculate . Our dining experience was great. Absolutely could not fault anything . Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Every single member of staff I came across had a smile on their face and they were all so lovely and super helpful . A great team ! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again .

On a hot day it was hard with no air con, especially when only a small window opened and sun on room in afternoon. The fan didn’t really do much ! I probably could’ve asked for another but was only one night. . A little niggle was the loo not flushing very well and the wardrobe light would not go off so shined out the gaps all night . A fridge would also have been an added bonus on a warm day.

Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it. They had a wedding on, but we never heard any noise or noticed any extra guests than we would expect as a normal hotel stay. However, they do have 2 function rooms. All staff were excellent and service impeccable. A special thank you goes out to the bar staff as they went above and beyond to make my cocktail, which I found out was not on their cocktail list and to Barbara the lovely lady on reception who always had a welcoming smile and the answer to any question.

I don't think there was anything that we did not like, hotel or food wise.

Stone Manor 5 stars all around, rooms are clean and tidy, Sunday roast and breakfast was amazing. Nice ground to walk around plus plenty of seating to enjoy the sun. We only booked one night but we extended our stay by one more night. (Two in total) BUT!!

With our Sunday Roast we ordered 2 pints of lime & soda, for this we were charged £14. Considering this is just bubbly water and shot of lime a bit outrageous!!! This put us off dining at the restaurant on our second night.

Greeted warm and friendly, bar staff again engaging, helpful and friendly. Dinner was excellent, we were served by Missey who always had a smile, was friendly, engaging, and attentive which added to a pleasant evening. Breakfast we were again served on by Missey who was delightful and always ready to help. A real asset to the hotel staff,

We stayed in a double superior room which was adequate, the wardrobe space was disappointing as little space especially for hanging long items of clothing. We have an electric car which we had enormous trouble with and found the following morning the car hadn't charged so we had to try again having to leave later than planned, this was really frustrating as we had tried numerous times the previous evening even ringing the company. Another guest also had the same problem and said how frustrating it was.

Hogarth's Stone Manor is a beautful old property set in a mixture of formal parterre gardens and manicured lawns, topiary and natural scenery. We enjoyed having a little explore outside both in the evening and again in the morning. The room with the extra large bed was very restful and up-to-date and a comfortable roomy bathroom. Everywhere had the benefit of being very well decorated and was pristine. There are clearly lots of weddings held here in different settings within the hotel. The food options were really impressive and we had a great evening meal and would have been hard pressed to beat it at a fine dining restaurant. A real bonus treat. There was an extensive drinks and cocktail menu. (Missing English Sparkling Wine but hoping they might consider taking some on!)

Really there was nothing to dislike - it was a great surprise to have found somewhere by luck that was so good. Although we don't come this way very often it would be part of our plans in the future.
