I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is a 10 minute walk (max) to the city centre, either by crossing a major ring road or walking along Waterloo Road. The location is perfect for a 5 minute walk to the civic halls (see photo) for a concert which is what I did and I felt completely safe walking back to the hotel alone after dark.

The fire alarm went off twice during one night and everybody stood outside for half an hour in our jammies. The staff said both times that guests had been tampering with their smoke alarms and the staff reset the alarm system, however, no sign of the fire brigade which would have been reassuring.

The coffee was horrible 😫 As for the amount of milk in little pots which as got a lot smaller not enough not enough tea bags no little packet of biscuits most places I have stayed in always have small pack of biscuits ..plus more teabags and milk .never had coffee like that it's cheap and nasty other places do branded nice coffee I'm 65 so I do like nice coffee more milk Also I do think you could do a discount for 65 and over I Also on staying and breakfast

Beds were comfy. Room was clean. We had a double bed and a single bed which was perfect for mine and my son's overnight stay. There was a fan in the room which helped cool down the hot night. There's a Sainsbury's not far and we were able to order pizza delivery to the hotel. It was very affordable and just a short walk from The Halls venue where we watched The Bright Eyes concert. We travelled from Newport by train and the hotel was not far by taxi. Perfect hotel stay if you are going to see a show at The Wulfran. Nice little bar near reception too.

Little bit noisy outside the window with trash collection trucks but didn't disturb us so much.

This used to be a Travelodge – the decor hasn’t been changed. However, the hotel was very well kept. Our room was fine. Everything worked and all fittings etc. were fine. The beds were nice and firm and there was very little noise from inside or outside of the hotel. A ten minute walk takes you into Wolverhampton centre.. A similar walk will take you to Molineux so would be perfect for visiting the Wolves games. The staff were welcoming although they insisted on taking my card details as a deposit. Guess they thought we might trash our room.. 😉 The car park isn’t owned by them so parking can be a lottery. My Sat Nav took me right to it, so I’m confused why others have mentioned this as an issue. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment about the food but the area was busy in the evening and in the morning so guess they must be getting it right..

Only downside was that in the morning, I had to get one of the cleaning staff, who was on her break, to let me back in from the car park entrance as my card had stopped working and I couldn't get any reply from the intercom! I tried for over 5minutes!!

I've stayed at Redwings Lodge many times, its always reliable and I know what to expect. Easy check in, polite staff and value for money. The rooms are large, soft, comfy bed, clean and fresh bedding guarantees a great nights sleep. Despite the room facing the road it was quiet and at night no noise at all. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of soft, clean towels. The room has tea and coffee making facilities There is a private bar for guests and they also serve some food.

No negatives at all. You get what you pay for.

Decent room, decent bathroom, decent everything. Nothing spectacular but it was brilliantly located and easy to get around. Convenient check in and out but the staff could have helped a bit more

Staff didn't advise on breakfast, I had to ask. We were not given a checkout time, we were just directed to our room and that was that. The pillows were not great and the TV was tiny. You just sink down in the bed and it wasn't a good experience. The bathroom didn't lock and there were no chargers by the bed. The lighting was also a bit weird, don't know how else to put it.

Every single staff I interacted with was amazing, so helpful and friendly! Even in the early morning hours. The room was clean and comfy, shower was great. I like the little signs to help the planet a little bit e.g. towels on the rack means don't change them! I ate in the hotel one evening and it was tasty. Thank you!

I personally thought it was expensive for what it was. The next night I stayed somewhere for £55 a night with breakfast included that was beautiful and unique, so comparing it to the £157 I paid at Redwings for 2 nights and no breakfast I think it's a lot. But maybe that's normal? Toilet seat was loose and window didn't shut properly so a little bit of maintenance needed.

So close to where we needed to be, handy for Wolverhampton City Centre and bus, tram and train facilities. Can't tell you about breakfast I've never been up in time, but friends say its OK. Housekeeping are very helpful, we needed more milk and an extra pillow they brought them to us straight away. There is a good bar at the hotel too and as residents you will be served quite late / early am as long as you're polite and considerate of other guests. Food is served during the day and light snacks (pizza etc) until 11pm

No decaff coffee available The air fresheners are very strong, especially in the corridors, could they be turned down a bit? Parking is limited and if its a Wolves home game there is not much street space available either and the roads by the hotel are closed.

The location was ideal for my visit. I travelled to Wolverhampton for football and the hotel is within 5 minutes walk of Molineux he room was more than adequate for my requirements It was clean, quiet and warm. Wolverhampton city centre is no more than 10 minutes walk. The bar area was useful for a pre-match pint and both staff and patrons were friendly. Breakfast was fine.

After checking out I had a lot of time to kill before my flight but there was no baggage store facility. It would be nice to have the option of fried as well as scrambled egg with breakfast. That apart the breakfast was fine. The crockery could have been better. I know Wolverhampton very well and it is easy for me to find my way around. For those not familiar with the city they may not realise how close they are to the city centre and other facilities. The hotel security was good but it would be useful to have a safe in the room.

Great low price option for going to a gig in Wolverampton. Right at the side of town. Staff were helpful and smiley but its a 2 way thing be nice and smiley yourself! It is not the Ritz so dont expect it. Clean basic room ideal for sleepng in at a low price. The coffee was very poor but I cant think that there are many places with plenty of alternative coffee options. All great for us.

Coffee ha ha, £3.00 for that? a pound would be too much, Think the machine needs replacing.
