Good breakfast. Great dinner. Superb spa treatment. Ambience good staff really helping bringing in my luggage in from the CP. lovely receptionist. Great sloping path for wheeling luggage up .
Very difficult to park on a Saturday afternoon but did manage one space in what was told was the staff CP but I was ok to stay there . Asked if there was a wedding and told ‘No’. However there was. !!!Had asked for a quiet room, however it was ground floor(ok with that) but the wedding guests with children came right up to my window playing games and making a noise . I had hoped for a rest on my arrival after a long journey . Also loud guests sitting in the garden in the evening ,but at least it went quiet by 9pm. No fridge in room which would have been good

I liked most of the staff; attention to guests and details was very good. Honesty is a policy well followed here, thanks to my member of housekeeping Sally or Diane. The young woman on rec was fantastic and helpful. The supervisor in the breakfast restaurant was great while a member of young staff, even the manager were failing in their customer service, re training may be needed here. TonyB
The bathroom in my room was full of bugs and needs refurbishing. It all looks new but when you look properly you setting the grime and dirt. This did upset my stay in my room. TonyB

The hotel was large and the the room a good size. Food was lovely in both bars and staff friendly. The breakfast was the usual buffet but good quality food.
The lighting in the bedroom was all in one area at the back and therefore no where to do my makeup except the bathroom. The bathroom was small and badly laid out. Our sink was blocked on our first day. The hotel only provide body/hand wash and no other toiletries which as a spa resort is unusual. The pillow were shocking and even when we changed to fibre the quality was of no substance. The quilts are extremely light and there was no additional bedding provided for the colder night. No glasses provided for in the room

Welcomed on arrival by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were well furnished with complementary bottled water , tea & coffee etc and bathroom toiletries. Beds and pillows were really comfortable! Breakfast buffet provided a very good choice of hot & cold options but additional food could be ordered from the kitchen - eg porridge, Eggs Benedict etc. Most impressive thing about this hotel is the staff. We were all very impressed with the care, kindness and hospitality they offered. Everyone was cheery and polite. It was a pleasure to be here.
Unable to book a table in the bar area for dinner. We didn’t want to eat in the restaurant, preferring the bar. However, we were fortunate to get a table to suit us. It isn’t great trying to eat a meal from a low, occasional type table.

Setting was amazing. Hotel entrance was large and well staffed. Check in was very quick and pain free. The restaurant was nicely situated and menu was limited but very tasty and well presented. It did get very noisy very quickly eith 3 huge parties dining at the same time.
Room was very compact with no views,, for the £187 room charge i would expect a room with a view. Dust found on the light fittings and head board, and behind the cupboard with the tea making facilities was filthy The bathroom was a bit to be desired. I found a chewed finger nail on the floor, shower glass had brown staining at the bottom and black mold in the shower.

Very welcoming. Great surroundings. Our dog was made very welcome and nice he could sit with us to eat in bar area. Food is excellent. Lovely sunny terrace to sit on with the sunshine still there late on. Some nice walks leading off from hotel grounds. Iron bridge is very close by and Telford park. A tranquil calming hotel, perfect for a relaxing escape. Bed comfy and room spotless. Didn’t use the spa but definitely will return and try a massage next time. The staff are really welcoming and happy to accommodate wherever they can. Recommend to go.
Pillows are a bit lumpy. Wouldn’t go a miss getting some nicer quality ones.

Super sized bed which was great for us. Excellent bedding, good sized bathroom. Loved the pool and sauna. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Parking and location fine for us. Felt like a real event with so many of us staying together in the same hotel for the wedding. Breakfast in the mornings was lovely.
The restaurant on the first evening was very busy and so we didn't get a table and had to sit at bar tables and the service was VERY slow plus they did not get my order right and I had to send it back to get it corrected. As we were part of a large wedding party all staying at the hotel we didn't let it bother us.

room was basically good, as expected from a chain hotel. Dinner was good on both nights, with efficient staff. Special deals made dinner good value for money, Breakfast was also good, especially when catering for large numbers of people. Certainly better than at some higher rated hotels I have stayed in.
Heating system was had no explanatory leaflet in the room. difficult to control the temperature. Corners of the room had not been vacuumed for some time. There were no glasses available in the room. My wife was at an event on the Saturday and said that the quality of lunch was poor, with thick sandwiches, a few chips and nothing really to recommend it.

Really friendly staff, good value for money given my 7yr old was free, so I paid a single occupancy rate. Lovely breakfast buffet. VERY dog friendly, our Labrador loved her stay there, also nice wooded trails to walk from the hotel. Pool and spa area were nice and never too busy (we were there Monday to Wed). Room was warm and quiet (4th floor).
In the pool area I was told robes were not for hotel guests and given a thin towel. Once I’d used the pool/ steam room it was too cold to sit by the pool so had to get dressed and head back to the room. A robe would have made the world of difference and lengthened our time in the spa, not sure why hotel guests don’t get the same service as the day guests. A smart tv would have been good but a minor point. Was not shown the children’s menu despite dining with my 7 year old, the kids menu was actually very good and would have saved me a small fortune in the bar.

This is a lovely modern hotel. The room was plain but spotless and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and willing to go out of their way. The breakfast couldn't have been better with all the usual stuff and some extra choices and especially nice was the rye bread. The gym was well equipped and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room just right for me. This was the first hotel spa centre where the showers were really good not just the usual like warm dribble. I also enjoyed the golf practise area but didn't play the course.
