Super sized bed which was great for us. Excellent bedding, good sized bathroom. Loved the pool and sauna. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Parking and location fine for us. Felt like a real event with so many of us staying together in the same hotel for the wedding. Breakfast in the mornings was lovely.

The restaurant on the first evening was very busy and so we didn't get a table and had to sit at bar tables and the service was VERY slow plus they did not get my order right and I had to send it back to get it corrected. As we were part of a large wedding party all staying at the hotel we didn't let it bother us.

room was basically good, as expected from a chain hotel. Dinner was good on both nights, with efficient staff. Special deals made dinner good value for money, Breakfast was also good, especially when catering for large numbers of people. Certainly better than at some higher rated hotels I have stayed in.

Heating system was had no explanatory leaflet in the room. difficult to control the temperature. Corners of the room had not been vacuumed for some time. There were no glasses available in the room. My wife was at an event on the Saturday and said that the quality of lunch was poor, with thick sandwiches, a few chips and nothing really to recommend it.

Really friendly staff, good value for money given my 7yr old was free, so I paid a single occupancy rate. Lovely breakfast buffet. VERY dog friendly, our Labrador loved her stay there, also nice wooded trails to walk from the hotel. Pool and spa area were nice and never too busy (we were there Monday to Wed). Room was warm and quiet (4th floor).

In the pool area I was told robes were not for hotel guests and given a thin towel. Once I’d used the pool/ steam room it was too cold to sit by the pool so had to get dressed and head back to the room. A robe would have made the world of difference and lengthened our time in the spa, not sure why hotel guests don’t get the same service as the day guests. A smart tv would have been good but a minor point. Was not shown the children’s menu despite dining with my 7 year old, the kids menu was actually very good and would have saved me a small fortune in the bar.

Such a lovely stay. Lovely welcome and wonderful surprise of a birthday card and balloons in the room after I put a little note on the booking that it was my sister's birthday. Great pool, plenty of seating around it and lovely treat of steam room and sauna included in our stay. Good location for visiting Ironbridge museums and good walk into Ironbridge itself. 21,000 steps done in one day!

The changing rooms for the pool were possibly a little small for hotel guests, gm members and spa users. The floor could have done with a wipe over. But these really were the only little negatives about the whole experience and were far outweighed by positives.

I liked the facilities included in our stay, and the breakfast was so lovely. The bed was really comfy and the room was spacious with a nice view.

We could hear everything in the next room, they were talking until late at night, and could hear their phone ringing. Woke us up early in the morning too, didn’t even need to set an alarm! Plus, heard them going to the toilet and flushing! Was really unhappy about this, I thought it would be a lot more soundproofed!

Staff were exceedingly polite and helpful at reception, in the restaurant and during room service. Reception provided guidance on excellent alternative places to eat and a minor problem with the room refrigerator was reported and corrected within hours by the room staff. Breakfast was buffet style but there was a full range of well prepared choices and dishes such as scrambled eggs could be provided to order at no extra cost - overall excellent.

Machine based coffee provided was ok, much better than the old style filter coffee kept warm for hours, but maybe we expect more these days.

Friendly staff, nice buffet breakfast. Nice size swimming pool and nice saunas. Menu prices not overly expensive as can find at places like this. As place wasn't busy, we got a free upgrade with mini bar in which was a nice touch.

Silly things like no shoes for use in the spa like often find in places like these. Had to use robes from your room instead of those at the spa. They were only niggly bits as nothing really there I didn't like.

We stayed here as a birthday treat for my wife. Marta on reception was wonderful making the stay extra special - we had a room upgrade and complimentary drinks on my wife's birthday, all unexpected and a lovely surprise. My wife had a facial and deep tissue massage at the Spa and said that Caitlin was amazing. The spa, gym and pool were great. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of good quality and varied.

Beautiful views, staff were brilliant, really attentive and friendly. We got a free upgrade for our anniversary, ballon’s and an anniversary card left in our room which was such a lovely touch! The room was lovely, cleans and comfortable with beautiful views over the countryside. We had dinner in the evening and I have an allergy and it wasn’t a problem, they made sure everything was perfect and the food was amazing. The service was also top notch as well, speedy and really friendly. Reception staff were great as well, let us check in slightly early and really kind. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return again!

Room was very warm, but there was a fan provided in the room already which was great.

All facilities were lovely especially the pool.

I set up an account for payment but was not told they would allow £50 per day plus the accommodation cost and block my debit card for this sum. I therefore had a shortage of funds for my holiday since I had no intention of spending £50 per day. If I has been told about the £50 per day provision I would never have set up an account. I would have paid as I went. And then I had to wait 2 days before I was refunded once I booked out at the end of my stay. The receptionist obviously didn't either didn't know her job or forgot this important information. Lots of us are on a budget these days.
