The room was spacious and clean ( bathroom probably could have done with being check!) the room was air conditioned which was fabulous given the hot weather and it was value for money.

I would like to stress the staff on a whole were great. However I didn’t appreciate while dining watching what I can only assume was a senior member of staff berating the younger ones in the middle of the restaurant. I appreciate younger staff member need to be given direction and maybe reprimanded at times but do this somewhere private not in the middle of a quiet restaurant. As a result the younger members were quite disgruntled afterwards and as they were being told off collectively I the few tables in the restaurant were not getting the attention and were waiting for drinks orders and plates to be cleared.

Breakfast was good with large variety of food to choose from. Staff were particularly welcoming and helpful - not just for food but ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Three staff in particular, young man (very tall) who provided us with good info on places to visit and how get there from hotel; a woman who has been with the Hotel (in other positions other than serving visitors in the Olive Restaurant); and another woman (duty manager?) who assisted my husband when he was unwell - a big thank you to all but particularly these staff need to be congratulated for their care and support.

Plumbing in bathroom requires maintenance

Spacious room with two good sized double beds. Windows that open rather than sleeping in a sealed room relying on Aircon that never quite gets it right. Room very up together with comfy beds. Great evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast. Lovely town Park area just at the back of the hotel for stretching your legs and walking the dog. Good gym/swimming pool. Overall very good value for money.

Everything was good. Big fan of Holiday Inn. Always good value for money and a good standard. Like the fact that there are a good mix of room types on offer to cater for different needs rather than a one size fits all like some hotel chains.

Choices for breakfast were very good and varied, the quality of the coffee was well above average too. The rooms were clean and spacious and speaking personally the addition of a bath is very important. The gym is small but functional, again a welcome addition for my stay. Having stayed in numerous hotels in and around Telford, this is the one I choose to return to.

I think my only grumble would be like too many hotels offering fitness facilities, it is not always reflected by healthy options in the dining room.

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 3 nights. It was lovely to have 2 double beds in our room. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent…walking distance to lots of places including the town centre and parks. The leisure centre was brilliant! We enjoyed the steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The swimming pool is 1,5m deep which was perfect for the kids too! Breakfast was delicious and had lots of choices. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Only 2 plug points in the room. None next to the beds. No usb points either.

They are always happy to accommodate my dietary requirements by bringing my own breakfast products for them to prepare in the kitchen at no extra cost, which is great. It is very near the start and finish of Telford 10K, which is the event I usually stay at this hotel for.

My room was next to that of a family of a lady with 2 little girls, all with non-existent coughing etiquette and you could hear they were ill. The girls were also constantly treating the corridor as a playground, which was irritating. I will request a quieter area in the hotel next time.

Overall very good breakfast. Lovely pool/jacuzzi. Loads of parking spaces available. Given a ground floor room and cot was provided for baby. Spacious room. Nice bathroom with plenty of toilet roll, hand-wash and towels. Pleasant staff at reception and breakfast. Double beds were comfy. Ideal location, short walk to shops/restaurants.

Hotel was too hot. Sausages weren't nice. Pool bit shallow. Cot had no mattress- baby slept on slatted base with sheet on top. Luckily we had brought a couple of large blankets. Not enough milk/sugar/biscuits in the room.

5th time stopping here. Everything you want and expect and more is what you get. Great hotel myself and my husband love it here. Staff are all lovely always go abive and beyond. Leisure facilities are excellent. Value for money. Restaurant and food beautiful and value for money. Breakfast is amazing everything you want. Lovely comfortable bar area with a big screen tv. Will be back very soon. I'm already looking to when we can book again .

There is only one thing my husband I didn't like, and that was coming back home.

Somehow, I had only booked one room for three of us: my mother-in-law, my wife and myself. The online booking website is somewhat confusing compared to others I have used and I had unintentionally booked a family room. The receptionist was extremely sympathetic and, despite the hotel being very busy and nearly fully booked, he managed to find two rooms adjoining each other. My mother-in-law is 95 years old and we like to be handy in case support is needed.

The staff were amazing as always, so friendly and helpful. It was much busier than last time we stayed. However, the hotel was great and kept serving breakfast items as quickly as they were running out. The housekeeping deserve special mention as they provided an additional quilt when my kids were fighting over the one on the bed. It was really helpful to ensure no one went cold. It is very much appreciated.

Nothing, we couldn't get into dinner one night but that was our error in not making a reservation earlier and having kids meant an earlier time was needed.
