We were over for a golf weekend and could not fault The Park House. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the young man at Breakfast and the Reception Team. Our breakfast was excellent and the whole ambience of the hotel was so quirky and lovely. It must cost an absolute fortune to keep such an old building in such a good state of repair. We were in the houses out the back of the hotel which were lovely. We only had one issue when our toilet stopped working, but within 30 mins we were moved to adjacent accomodation with no fuss or bother. These things happen, not the hotel's fault. The Reception Staff also sorted our taxis to Golf Course and Airport. The Hotel is also just a 5 min walk from the Train Station and within walking distance to all the town's amenities.

Absolutely no complaints.

The rooms were large and quiet, the furniture was comfortable and the jacuzzi was a great size for relaxing after a long day. We checked in after 11pm and the gentleman at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. He carried our bag and showed us around the room. We didn't have breakfast this time but last time we stayed we did and it was good value for money.

The decor is a little outdated and there could have been more in the way of coffee and tea making facilities. A coffee machine would be a real bonus for this room. Would also be great to have a light switch for the living room next to the bedroom so you don't have to cross the room in the dark after turning it off. Would love a shower separate from the jacuzzi bath to make it easier to have a quick shower in the morning.

I am vegan and did request a vegan breakfast which meant having some sausages cooked which I could add to the rest of breakfast already supplied and available. The receptionist did say she would pass on so chef would be aware in the morning. Unfortunately he was completely unaware of this request but was very accommodating and helpful and brought out 2 vegan sausages for me to have .. very Grateful.. The other breakfast options were very good..4*

Only thing was as above, would be nice to have the sausages already available along with all the other options laid out rather than requesting and hope the message gets through to appropriate staff ..

It'd been a while since we were last here and the public areas have been given a welcome refurbishment. The staff were without exception, friendly, welcoming, professional and appear efficient. The bridal sweet whislt tired, is immaculate... no dust in sight. Housekeeping clearly take a pride in their work in a bid to make the best of areas that would benefit from some updating. Pre booked breakfast rate a bargain - well done.

The bridal suite could do with some attention... it's shabby chic which is fine, but there's a tear in the net curtain and cracked floor tiles in the bathroom which were there on our last visit . It's a cold room and could do with an oil filled radiator- I'm sure if we'd asked one would have been provided but we spent the night in the hot tub anyway.

The location , the position of room 74 , car parking near the room . The staff were very good and nice to see them in appropriate uniform . It was a very good location to visit the Cosford Airshow .

There was a Wedding on the Saturday with the Wedding Party completely taking over the Hotel areas making it difficult to get past them . We decided to eat out that night . Was not too keen on the £25 levy for room damage which we were told would take 3- 5 working days to credit back to the Debit card that was used .

A great value stay in a comfortable clean room. We ate an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were very good. Our room was very clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

Our room overlooked a roof which had a lot of what looked like abandoned machinery on it. The outlook would be better if this was tidied up a bit. Having said that, this didn't detract from our enjoyable stay.

The room was spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Close to town and a nearby dog walk. There was some work being done but it didn’t affect our stay at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the guy on the bar and the ladies at breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, and didn’t seem to have been hanging around for hours. Sunday roast was tasty too! We would definitely go back.

My only slight gripe is that the charge for dogs was £15 per night, per dog, which turned a great value stay into an average cost stay. I can’t imagine they clean the room twice because there were two dogs. It wouldn’t put us off returning as, apart from this, they were very pet friendly.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff especially the lady in reception. Location was perfect for my workshop. Easy parking. Rooms were spacious especially in the main building and very clean. A little tired in places but renovations are ongoing. Room service meal was piping hot and good. Simple pie and chips but nicely done.

When I first arrived the cottage room I was allocated was steaming hot. Heating on full blast and it was 19 degrees outside. Couldn’t be turned off. But the lady in reception was fantastic and moved me to a lovely cool room in the main house. Renovations going on but needed and will make it so much better. I was out all day so didn’t affect me

I had noted on the booking that we had got married the day before so was really pleased when, on arrival, the team had upgraded us to the Bridal Suite which made our day :-) The room and bed were huge plus an extra bonus was that the hotel was dog friendly so we were able to have Luna with us throughout. The hotel also caters for gluten free and allergies so we enjoyed dinner and breakfast on site.

The only downside is that the bar did not stock Rioja/Tempranillo which is our drink of choice however there were decent alternatives.

It's a great base for exploring the area, but great to get back to as we were moving furniture! Derek and Milda were particularly helpful....really great service from them, waiting staff attentive....

We found there wasnt the same standard of customer service between different reception staff, which was unhelpful. This was our second stay, and it was notable. Reception staff need to be all eyes tits and teeth, even if they don't feel like it....just saying....
